Um yeah so uh all right. Let'S talk curls, okay, curls. When it comes to curls, they can be a pain in the ass. Now i want to ask you a question if i were to say that curls versus waves was a thing in this video and in this video i were to ask you what would be harder to maintain curls or waves when it comes to curls and when it Comes to waves, these two hairstyles that i have been able to experience myself by myself. You have to have completely different approaches towards each one now waves, the wave, the wolf, the long strokes of the brush, the do-rag, the wet brush sessions, the endless hours of brushing the lost time with your loved ones. Let'S just say a lot of bad juju. A lot of bad energy was in those curls when you let yourself go, and you guys know, or at least for my og watchers y'all, know i've. Let myself go plenty of times, but this this time, when i left myself go, i let myself go in a way where i really didn't do anything with my hair. Do a hairball, the shim, that's not pink eye either that shampoo laying it on my eyes so relax. You see how it's not even lathering up either check this out. That'S round one. There'S a there's a few fellas out there in the world that uh only do one round you got ta go multiple rounds, fellas multiple rounds round. One is not enough. We got ta go to round two valley, okay, okay round two. Here we go trust me. If you don't see a lot of suds on that, first, try it's a main indicator, letting you know y'all, you want to run it back one more time, one more again: okay y'all got to dig in too get in there get in there. Okay get in there. Don'T be don't be getting lazy with this okay and it's harder it's harder. When you got long hair, i'm telling you it ain't, it ain't easy after shampooing, massage into the hair working down to the shaft leave on hair for 40 minutes. Let'S make some sections. This is probably gon na, be the worst curly hair wash video ever made me nice. I mean it's telling you it's like a murder scene in here, hair everywhere. It'S everywhere, let's go, let's go, let's just get it in there, we'll figure out the rest later. I don't got time for it see a little bit more water in his hair, more more more product in the hair right now now long hair could be a pain in the ass for a lot of people, especially for men, see men we're not taught, we don't Grow up learning how to take care of long hair that is taught to girls, and i know this for one, because i have both a boy and a girl. Let me just say that my daughter definitely has had more patience to understand her hair. More than my son, my son is two and yes he's two, but guess what my daughter was two as well and my daughter who had way more patience to deal with her long hair than my son. My son is ready to run away to almost kick you if you are trying to do anything with his curls, which reminds me of the cut his curls, so vonda just work with me girl. Oh, i also want to say this about long hair that the shedding that comes with it is a complete freaking nightmare. Now i have a family and when you have a family, you have to share a lot of stuff with your family, including the bathroom, and let me just say that when you share a bathroom and you shed, there are a lot of arguments and discussions and uh Just overall wars bathroom wars due to the fact that you do not clean up after yourself and when i say clean up, i'm talking about every piece of hair that comes out of your head seriously, guys like i would brush for three hours clean up and there's No evidence now, if i did my curls there's evidence everywhere. Look i'm a barber. I talk to a lot of people on a daily basis. I could say with a thousand percent of sureness sureness sureness. Let'S just say, i'm very confident in saying that when it comes to guys we listen, we are not raised to know what to do with our long hair. It'S just a fact. Girls y'all get the heads up on that long before we even figure out what to do with ourselves. Okay, so when it comes to us finally starting to experiment by the time preteens come in teenage years come in, we just do it real, quick experiment and then chop it off. Eventually, by the time we get jobs, a lot of fellas with long hair, don't know how to take care of the long hair and they might even be putting work in and then they come to the shop and there's a whole lot of product build up. There'S a lot of dry scalps, there's a lot of knotted hair whoa. Let me tell you about naughty hair knotted hair is a freaking pain in that like look, this is easy right here. I'M blind brushing my scalp is very very dry. Only if you guys could see the snowflakes that are coming out of here right now. That is an easy fix way easier than dealing with this okay. So when it comes to curls too, i also want to say this, if you so happen to live with a woman, a sister mama, whatever pronoun within that you know, let's just say you have a one up: okay, and by having the one up i mean, there's A lot of products there available for you, you already got the shampoo ready to go. You got the conditioner, the deep conditioner uh, the the leave-in conditioner. I just felt there was more more of an equation. There was more of bruh. I felt like there was more involved with maintaining curls than waves did, and i did not feel happy about that at all, but luckily i didn't have to go out of my way to buy the products they're already here. I just asked bae, you know, set it up for me, hello, mama, hey, can you uh hook me up? Can you tell me what shampoo to use? Can you tell me what conditioner you use? You know there was. There was so much that she had to do for me and you know what, because she had to do so much for me. I probably got hindered you know because with waves i had to do it myself. She didn't she couldn't brush. For me i mean she could have and then look. Let me just say this: if you don't got silk back sheets, so pillow sheets and all that silkness all around you're gon na have to sleep with a bonnet and look sleeping with a do-rag sucked, but it was not as bad as sleeping with the body not To mention your masculinity is kind of questionable at that point: hey whatever floats your boat, but i did not. I repeat, i did not like the way i looked with a bonnet on. I tried it and i was like this ain't for me. You can keep that bonnet. I am wearing that bonnet. I don't wan na. I don't want nothing to do with that. Bonnet. Keep it! No lo quiero, it's looking like the tub is starting to get clogged up baby. All right! Look. I only waited a few minutes. I can't wait any longer. I have an appointment and it's looking like your boy's gon na be late. I still got ta put one more thing on this: we're going for cold. So so you

YoFonzz: Happy Sunday to all. And to all who care, enjoy this weird PAIN ON THE ASS VIDEO

Chris Bossio: Love the clip of renzo with the spray bottle

NBH_Elii: The pain after u brush ur curls for like 30-40 minutes and it’s still tangled the worst

King: Man I hope you become more consistent with your uploads. You’re much more entertaining and different then other haircut/hair YouTubers. I love your videos man plesse make more!

Tori Higgins: you have to have patients with curls and you gotta be committed to putting in the work to get the best results. only few survive lol

THE AAAT: I’m so glad I found this. I was never taught about my hair because I live with my fully white mom and she has no clue about my hair. Recently my hairs been growing and ever time I go in the shower tons of hair falls out and I thought I was having hair loss at 15 until this vid

Rosalind Welch: Thank you for this. I have the exact same hair texture as you in my natural state. It’s nice to see another person deal with this.

Sebastian Howard: Maybe my hair texture is just way different to yours, but from my experience using a wide-tooth comb while showering and your hair is wet is the best way to start of rejuvenating those curls. Helps create curl patterns by splitting the hair up, and is good at detangling it as well.

Sandman: I never thought I'd ever be watching a video of a grown man take a shower. It's like an extended dr squatch ad. Don't judge me you're watching it too.

locdog606: He needs one of those detangler brushes that’s on Amazon that separates or spread apart. This works wonders on my long hair! I just got hip last year.

JclarkComedy: I feel you Big Fonzzie. Waves and long hair is fun, but time consuming and tiring lol. I thought I was the only dude who took breaks and/or "let myself go" for a while. It feels good and refreshing to step back and be a wild natural beast lol. #360biggie #NaturalEliteAndKitWaves on Facebook!!!

M1k3 N N1yah Vlogz: Inspired hell by your content , student athlete and a barber thx fonzzz for the courage to wanna pursue my dream ❤️

Juliette Proverbs: The struggle is real, been working from home the last 14 months, and I've only started taking care of my hair two months ago... and that's coz I was horrified with the size of the hair balls... felt like I went from 10000 strands to 10. Have a barber on standby just in case I relapse... and yes, it's all natural, and well into my back

Kashmiere Dotson: Being late because of your curls.... so real! And still have a hair knot after finger, comb, and brush detangeling omg

Lindsey: As a woman with curly/wavy hair, this video had me rollin'. Also, great editing!

Marley Hill: I know I should laugh but curly hair is on another level. I wasn't taught as a girl how to do my curly hair. My mom threw a curly perm or a relaxer in my hair and went about her bizness. Lol! Doing curly hair in the shower is a fail for me. That stuff needs to be divided up and sectioned and you work on one section at a time and twist it back up so it doesn't re-tangle! You wear that hair out Friday Night to Sunday Night and Sunday night you twist or braid it up and slap a bonnet or du-rag on it. That way you don't have to do your hair every day when you got a full-time job and a family! Bro you only needed 5 products. Shampoo, Deep conditioner, a leave in detangler and leave-in conditioner and a scalp product if you have a bad, itchy, dandruff or sensitive scalp. Wash once a week. leave that deep conditioner for 20-40 minutes with a hot towel on while you play with the kids, do some editing or cooking or cleaning and rinse it out holding over the tub, shower or sink. If you don't want to wear a bonnet or scarf, put the hair in a pineapple puff on the top of your head and in the morning take it down shake apply a small bit of the leave-in on the frizzy puffy parts and keep it moving.

Kenneth Maese: I’m pretty lucky in that when my hair is short it’s straight, as it gets longer it starts to get wavy but nothing remotely close to curls. It’s pretty easy to maintain.

Dash Consigliere: Finally ... a video that describes, with Robin Hood level accuracy, how it is dealing with a head full of curls. I can't thank you enough bruh. #Salud

Love 5lives: This was hands down the most funny hair tutorial I have ever seen. Loved it...

David Ri'Chard: (I have dreads)Bonnets over Durags all day. Way more comfortable. The one you had on was huge Lmaoo. After a fresh retwist I just wear a wave cap with bonnet. When I had waves I wore the cap wit Durag and that got way more annoying. The string to tie du rags started to irritate my scalp and head.

LL Lewis: Just found your channel. Lol im so jelly i wish i could grow my hair out like yours It seems like it takes years to grow out on my head. Love your vids

Caylan Alexander: Man this video explains 10000% of my pain

neishia SDD: Natural hair care requires 1. Patience 2. A good detangling brush 3. Good hair products You had it but I think if you were a little bit more patient. You would of had it. But I understand cutting tho it does take a lot of time out of the day to maintain especially on wash day.

NoToes: I just cut my hair, maintaining the curls was a palava at times. It also led to a lot of breakages and shedding.

Calif Flourish: Just realized we have the same hair, I mean exactly the same and I just can't take care of it properly. I only do one washing to save time. I just wished I knew how to take care of it better so it could look good always.

Andrew DePass: I love the Spanish phrases every now and then, keeps me on my toes lol

Joshua Harris: I was going through the same thing and eventually cut it and got the waves. It’s not worth it especially when u have all that good hair under

Firstname Lastname: Ayye my G, I so feel your pain. U so right man. Thick curly/kinky hair is a pain to detangle. Thourough comb/brus sessions and keepin it twisted seems to be best

Bryce: Once you get in a rhythm and figure out what works for your hair it’s a lot more manageable. Also PLEASE section when y’all detangle... it’ll make your life 10000X easier

Chanelle shaffer: Lmfao omg I feel for you. My hair sheds even worse cause it’s down to my ass. Oh my goodness. Love it. ❤️

Wetware Distributor: Dude, I used to rock waves as a kid. Not even intentionally, I just had short hair and wore a du-rag as a fashion statement (growing up in NY, all the hood dudes in the barbershop wore durags, and I was like "they're cool, I want to wear one too". Had and maintained waves by accident for like 3 years before I grew out of it. I'm growing out my hair right now for the 2nd time in my life. THERE ARE SO MANY RULES, THAT ARE DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON YOUR HAIR TYPE, AND BREAKING ANY ONE OF THEM MAKES IT LOOK LIKE SHIT. I'm mixed so my hair is curly, but not super curly. It's somewhere inbetween black loose coils and white curly hair. Took me years to learn that I don't actually have an afro. Brushing my hair at all makes it into an afro. Not brushing it gets curl coils that hang down. I was destroying the curl pattern by brushing it. I also had to figure out that if I shampoo my hair daily, it will break and fall out. Once every 4 days, only. But conditioner every single day, and leave in conditioner every single day. I also had to get a "curl cream" thing specifically made for mixed race people, or my hair will turn into a birds nest. And then there's all the finger-combing you have to do to get knots out without ruining the curls. It took me literally years to figure out how to make my hair look nice. I shaved my head/got fades/wore hats until I was 17, man. Now I'm 27, and have about a foot of nice looking curls hanging down, but I still constantly think about cutting it off because it's so much work. The only thing stopping me is that I may go bald in the next 10 years, and I wanted to experience having really long hair before it's not an option anymore. But yeah man, no contest, having long curly hair is the most difficult hair-related thing to maintain and it gets more difficult the curlier your hair is. Also, specifically for mixed race hair, finding a barber that knows how to cut it (in ways that aren't a fade/shave) is extremely rare. It's a challenge.

DreCutitOut: “Working down to the shaft “ lmfaooooo

Marcus Barron: YoFonzz bro you straight winning out here for real #keepadvancing. God bless

willmarclol: Dude! SO funny! The struggle was REALly a struggle! Howeva the curls will be missed i Almost dropped a tear when u cut them curls. Almost

Jak dan: I dead ass have same pain as you bro. Spending lots of time in the bathroom detangling hair. The tangles would never end.

Jordinho Charles: Ive had waves ... I have long curly hair right now had for 3 years, waves is a piece of cake.... brushing just becomes an action you do involuntary With curls

OhLookItsEyesack: Fonzz you got me into waving like a year ago, I wanna say thank you

Myron Venero: This vid summarizes my struggles . Instead of verbally explaining, imma just send this link to anyone with questions.

Lowkeyonthebeat: We have the exact same hair type and i used to struggle sooooooooo much with ma curls

Ughnickk: can we get a hair journey like when it was short til now?

RBD GRAHAM: I have the same problem. I wash it 2-3 rounds and I use coconut oil/cream but doesn't get any better. It still sheds , get knot / hair balls . After all I can't even brush it . Brush won't go through. One time almost was about to shave it.

Andre Fortune: The lost time with loved ones

Lance 💨💯: Yeah curls are alotta maintenance but I think any hairstyle if u wanna to look nice u gotta put in that work

F.I.P ISH: You just gotta maintain that shyt Man U gonn have to detamgle it every week so that u don't have all those knots in your hair and style it get twists or braids

Marlon Tang How: I got the same tangle teezer

Ao_drizzy: The maintenance is why I cut the really long curls off.

Chanelle shaffer: I have that same detangling brush and I hate the handle on it. When you use it in the shower it just keeps slipping out of your hands. Especially if you have product on them.

William Dortch: Lmao... You know whats extremely painful...Fonzz you have nice hair you can easily GET the curls.. Some dudes gotta do so much to even reveal they're curls.

Poodleloo: I thought I had issues with my hair. Think curly (mostly grey) hair & MAJOR HUMIDITY THREE Different products + vitamin supplements to just to keep it under control.

JL Mob Productions: Bro I go through the same struggles they blame my hair for everything

Javen Terry: Curls are harder to maintain, waves take more work to attain

Coffee Bean: I have very thick curly/coily hair. It is ridiculous how much shedding I get before and after I wash my hair

luvislimbo: This is why I stopped caring and letting my hair do what it wants and potentially free form

Deshawn K: U showed hella restraint in this one. Everytime I’m in the shower I gotta shake my curls atleast 3 times

Cpt. Stinky Bum: I'm boutta get some snacks and binge watch this channel BTW, your hair is exactly like mine, I guess that's why it was so funny, coz I could relate to every single thing

The Barber and The Beast: Bro! This explains my daily pain with my long curls. But that aside, do I see a package from YouTube in the back. Maybe a 100k plaque!!!

PoloBlendz: Super entertaining video lol keep dropping them movies Fonz!

Yazmin Caldera: How should we take care of curls??? That would be a good video! Would be intrested in that

Jay: I went from waves to curls to waves back to curls it’s a pain

deshaun green: Going thru this now

My Life Crew: Dude curls hurt I’m black and Puerto Rican combing the hair out is to much grew my hair out for 3 years cut it and never looked back

Xhoodie 66: Curls are harder, waves u just brushing and laying down while curls u gotta maintain them

Xo Vlogs: Exactly why I let my hair lock

Dalo: That like to dislike ratio

Supah: Fonzz is less consistent than Cole i swear

spider man fan 447: swear when i saw this dude a few years back his hair was thinning out like crazy, crazy differece bro well in

zanthus7: Man, watching you deal with your hair gave me horrible flashbacks. My hair was just like yours. The amount of time to wash it, condition it, rinse it, dry it, styling, or getting someone to do it for me. So much damn shampoo for a thorough saturation and cleaning. Not to mention to covers for sleeping plus always worrying about my hair. ENOUGH!!!! That is exactly why I shaved it all off 10 years ago. Best decision of my life and have NEVER regretted for one moment. I shave my head everyday and love it bald and worry free.

Xondex: Another day of pain for Fonzz

L. Y.: Yo, you funny as hell. I got you.

Donta Butler: I know you still got your wave supplies bro .. come back FONZZ!!!

Nackasama: i love his videos LMAO

Chanelle shaffer: Your ends wouldn’t knot up so much if you kept em’ trimmed. ‍♀️

SandKeats: Beautiful curls and nice music

PoloBlendz: Yooo congrats on getting verified!!!!!!

NV- Music & Random Family Stuff: I always said.. I wish I had Puerto Rican hair. Im half white and rican and i got everything Puerto Rican except my hair. My hair is super thin.... Watching u go through this i change my mind I'll deal with the white people hair lmao

grimlock smash: I hate those friggen tangle teezers. They are so incredibly hard to grip. I had far better luck detangling with solely a Denman brush. It's a shockingly good at detangling. Fast forward, and I now have dreadlocks because curly hair is just too much to deal with lol. I got detangling down packed but styling in a way that lasted more than a day or so was just impossible.

OBSMARTIN: I don’t even got to go to second round I’m bald as shit

Sweet Lu: You looked cute in the bonnet. You played yourself.

Curtly David Coetzee: Curls really aint it ffs, i have to do that every morning

Blake P: I’m guessing this was supposed to come before the video where ‘renzo cut your hair? What’s wrong with short/medium length curls that are easier to maintain?? It seems like you never do anything in moderation. 0-100 real quick or nah

Ismael: Yo fonz, no pun intended, but what kind of brush or products do you recommend?

Tyrannical King: 3:30 what’s the name of that detangling brush/tool

EBK GSW3RV0: It only sheds a lot wen yu dnt take care of it n it’s kinda unhealthy mine did the same

RMT: stop using shampoo, curly hair is dry you have to keep the natural oils there, I have been washing my curls only with conditioner like for 10 years. You have to wash and untangle at least once or twice per week so it doesn't get as tangle as you show in this video.

awesomeness122: 4:35 bro thats funny ash

eggsquizitine: 1:30 Bro we got the exact same hair type. Ive never seen anybody else with this. What is our hair type? 4 b or c?

Chris Ryan: What was it you had to put in your hair for 30 mins? Deep conditioner?

Jesús Rivera: Jajajajaja se te olvidó mostrar cómo te levantas sino te recoges el pelo o te pones un gorro eso es lo que menos me gusta de tener el pelo rizado

Relax_Rombey: You should have gotten dread it would have been easier

London London UK: MR you are so great I love my Afro hair I have a braided once a year and my hair is always nice and clean and healthy I look after my Afro hair I just love it. You have great hair it’s very nice

Sdgsdfffrrsxg: yoo this dude got me weak lmaoo

Brandon Cespedes: Bro, the story of my life.....

Afdhal Amidou: I feel like if you did protective styles it would have been easier.

Helen Iyerr: Is it normal if you lose hair while shampooing/ conditioner and styling

Sub2me543: So relatable

Kettlie Bazolie: Who else eyes went water when you saw his eyes and starting to burn

A’mon: This just described my hair

Mando Velez: Before cutting your curls you should have just cut the sides and get a trim

eman2537: Man who else is waiting for Renzo first waver cut tutorial on Pops

Dynamic T: This was entertaining lol.
