What'S up, everybody welcome back to my channel, so i'm starting out the video with my first client, who is getting a closure quick weave so right here, i'm just laying the lace into the glue i've already molded her down and everything, and i'm just laying the closure Down and i've done these on my channel like at least three times, i feel like i've done closure videos, but um. You guys seem to really like watching me do closures, so i thought this video would be really fun to just like show you what it's like doing back-to-back clients so yeah. Let me know in the comments if y'all thought this was like a good video or was it like just too much, do you prefer to just watch one hairstyle at a time or do you like when it's like all in one like this so yeah? Now i'm just laying her um laying the band down to melt the lace and i'm sewing the closure down so now we're about to put in her bundles she's using two bundles 28 and 30 inches. So um i'm singling her tracks and i feel like doing a quick weave is kind of like self-explanatory, like you literally just glued the tracks. So it's not really much for me to explain on this part so i'll. Just let y'all watch that but um. If you have a business, how has everything been since, like the pandemic, like since it's kind of going back to normal, like how? How has your business been doing? I don't think hair has really struggled as much like i mean we did have those couple months where oh i made that too long got ta cut some but um i feel like hair did have those like couple months. Well, at least in michigan, i know it was shut down for three months where the salons couldn't nobody could do hair for three months and um. Obviously, that affected a lot of businesses and with the whole shutdown with the lace shortage and the raise and prices like wholesale hair prices have skyrocketed. I remember when closures used to be like sixty dollars, um wholesale, and then you could like make the make the closure like a hundred dollars. Max, i feel like was the most i used to spend on closures and right here you can see. I just went back in and added her extra track because i like to make sure i put all their hair in but yeah now wholesale closures is like 90 to 100, so you got to like make your prices real high to make a profit i feel like, But um yeah right here, i'm pressing her closure flat and about to do her baby hairs and um i've been trying out this new gel to do baby hairs. This is my cream of nature um. I think i've been really liking. It like it does good. It'S like got to be really and then i always spray. The um got to be spray on top of the baby hairs and i blow dry them in place. Most clients don't know how to redo their baby hair. So i don't really do the soft look unless they ask for it and right here, i'm just asking her did her part. Look like it was in the middle and fixing it because i'm not really good at making middle parts. I ain't even gon na lie. So i'd be asking them before they leave like this in the middle to you and then have them like tell me, you know it should be a little bit to the left more and um yeah. I read the x to make sure it's right and here go to finished product little quick weave and what we're going to do next. Okay, so right here, i'm blow-drying her hair out some more and i think she about to get a natural, quick weave with leave out. I personally have not wore a leave out in so long. I can't even remember the last time i got leave out. It'S just too much to deal with for me, like my natural hair, won't even stay straight, no more without me having to flat iron it every day. If i have leave out, so that's that's just there. For me, i read the closure any day and i did flat iron, my hair for this braid that i got in my head, like it's like a week old now, but i flat out my hair for this and it's through already. I got to figure out my next hairstyle but yeah, i'm braiding her leave out um down now and then i braided her like that, like straight down all the way around, and then i cut the ears out on the sides and the reason why i do that Is so that the um, the quick weave solution that you put on like the what's it called that black stuff i'll be putting on you're gon na see? I do that so that that could stick down around the ear part and i um spray got to be. First then, i do the um black stuff and then i'm gon na do another round of got to be so when my clients take out their quick weaves, all you have to do is get in the shower and wet your hair, like just put your whole hair Under the water and the whole quick weave is gon na come off like a wig like it's just gon na slide off, not gon na be no glue in your hair at all. So after you spread everything you just wan na set them under the dryer for everything to dry, really solid and then come back and glue your tracks now so y'all am i the only one that feels like i hate doing my own hair, like i just dread, Doing my hair - and i feel like it's because my hair is super thick, it's just too much it'd be too much like when i get a hairstyle. You want to leave it in for forever, because i just hate thinking about redoing. My hair, like i just don't, have the patience no more, but now we're doing the same exact thing. Just cutting and gluing the tracks down and y'all frontal, especially hd lace like hd lace, is skyrocketed, especially like it's frontal is going for like 200 250, where i'm at and don't even think about a full lace. Wig, but i mean good hair is not cheap. At least you can reuse it and color it and stuff like that, like that's what i like, if i'm gon na, spend some money, i better be able to get my money's worth out of what i'm buying so her hair is body weight, but she wanted me To silk her out, so i'm just flat ironing it and when i'm flat ironing the hair like when i got a flat iron like this um like body weight, bundles like this, i like to flat iron each bundle, as i put it in. If you, what i'm saying like, i just put that one bundle in and then i'm about to flat iron, it straight then put the next bundle in then i'm gon na flat iron straight, like i like to do that, rather than putting all the bundles in and Then going back and re-flat ironing it all and she had three bundles, so i double all her bundles and y'all. To be honest, i don't even know if i'm gon na put music on this video, because i'm really sick of youtube and the copyright stuff like you can you can put no copyright music on your video and like do everything they say, do to not get copyrighted And they still will flag your video for copyright like it could be months later, sometimes, and i'm just really over it. So i don't know what i'm doing about music. I might make a song at this point because i'm just sick of that, but so yeah, i don't know if i'm gon na put music and y'all, see me um right here, going back in and adding her last tracks in, because i make sure all the tracks Go in, i know everybody want all their bundles in and yup now we're silking her out. So now i'm cutting the cap, that's on our leave out and i'm about to silk her leave out to blend in with the weave, and before i put any on the leave out, i like to use bio silk oil on the leave out. First then, i'm getting my pressing comb i like to use the presser come that go in the stove, not the electric kind. To me you just don't get hot enough like i need that real stove action and then i split the leave out into different sections to make sure it's all getting sticked out evenly. Do you also wear a leave out or do you prefer a closure or frontal or wig? Do you like sew-ins or quick weaves? Personally, i would do either a wig or a quick weave. I cannot get no more sew-ins and i can only wear a silk press in the wintertime because it's gon na last - it's not gon na sweat out and i can only get braids in the summertime because i don't like cool wind on my scalp. I got ta get braids when it's hot outside, but y'all know something i want to try like. I want to try it on myself and i want to like try to do it on other people is micro links and not the kind that where they be sewing. It on your loose hair, like i mean like the kind, would be beaded in. I think it's called eye tips like where they put the beads in here and then like they got to use that tool to clamp it down like. I want to start doing that, but i'm kind of scared that, like not a lot of people, is going to want that because it's like a like stigma: that that kind of break off your hair or like that it don't grow your hair. Or that is no point, because really all your hair is out technically, like it's kind of arguably not even a protective style, so i don't feel like a lot of people will get it. So that's why i'm kind of leery on spending all that money taking that class, but then again, like i'm, just have a person that want to learn how to do everything, because i always just love everything. That'S like in the beauty industry like i want to take a micro, bladed, ombre, ombre, eyebrow class too, and i'm about to learn how to do lashes too, like just because, like i just like to do that, just just to know how to do it and i'm Gon na learn how to do makeup, and this is not to like take clients for it or anything. It'S literally just just for fun really like you know how you got to have like a mental hobby like what do they call it like a safe, safe space. Hobby, like basically just doing something that make you happy just because that's what that's what doing stuff in the beauty industry does for me, but y'all yeah, look at this! It'S so pretty and blended wow. You can't tell where a leave out is even at period what we doing next. Okay, this is a frontal touch-up. You already see how i look completely off. Okay, so first thing i do with the principle: touch-ups is get some alcohol and a towel. This is gon na take about five minutes. You just got ta scrub, all that glue off the frontal, that's from the previous install and then take some more alcohol and scrub. Her forehead, not scrub, don't scrub, because it's going to be too harsh on the skin, but just rub all that extra glue off from her forehead as well, and then um we're going to take some gel that same cream and nature gel that i've been using and We'Re going to gel her edges back and um yeah, i i always clean the glue off my um clients for rentals and closures when they come for a touch-up i'll, be seeing some stylists. That say, oh, come with your commercial relays, already cleaned like i don't get that like the client, they really be knowing how to clean their lace off i mean it is simple, but i just feel like that's something that the hairstylist should be doing, which i could Let me know y'all opinion on that, but now i'm just pressing that cap down and i'm gon na spray some gossipy glue spray on there and then put her under the dryer first. I was gon na blow dry it. But then i was like nah just go on at the dryer, so yeah after i came to my census and put her under the dryer. Oh, i decided to get a quick bite to eat. Okay, that was some pasta salad. Oh now, i'm sweeping cleaning up. Okay. Okay, now we back so i'm cutting the cap and i'm putting her shade of makeup. So i i didn't really have her shade. I'D, be mixing makeups together, like different shades of makeup together to come up with a shade. Sometimes sometimes you got to do what you got to do, but i don't like using powder makeup y'all. I only like using the liquid foundation, concealer colors, no powder. I don't even really like the lace tints, no more. I don't try them and it's just not. For me, the liquid makeup works best for me, so you know i'm just cutting that cap all the way around and now i'm pulling her frontal forward just to make sure that the cap is cut back far enough, where the frontal is going to lay right at Her um hairline, because you know you're supposed to put the frontal like a little bit above the hairline like a little bit above the cap, so yeah i'm just measuring it out and make sure that it's all equaling up and then i'm gon na put the glue On while the glue is drying, i'm taking that same makeup formula that i created and putting it on the lace and then i'm going to spray the lace with some got to be spray, and this will prove oop got it alright, my bad, then this will prevent The makeup from reacting with the glue and making it lift early so yeah now just pull that frontal down and stick it in, and it looks so crazy right now, like i think touch-ups is one of my favorite things to do actually, because it's just like taking A nightmare and turning it into something just it's just crazy. How to finish yourself to be like they always be like a maze like. Oh, my gosh there's a new person but yeah, just um re put some glue where it didn't get the first time and spread it with the edge of the comb, and this was actually her third touch up with this same sew-in. Now i'm taking out what's going to be her baby hairs and then i think oh yep, my favorite part, the hot comb. This just bring the whole style to life. Press the hair back press the edges down. Then i'm going to take some got7 spray and spray across her whole hairline and put the milk band down now. I'M just wetting her hair down, because this is the indian curly texture here and then i put some mousse and i'm just brushing it. You can just see it's just coming right back to life and then after i brush it out fully i'm going to scrunch it up just to really define and revive the curls, and then i always let it air dry, and i tell them like don't don't run Your fingers, through it or nothing while it's drying, but she she likes to wear it like the big way like like the big look, not the super defined curl look. So i already know after she leaves me she's gon na. Let it let it dry big and then i'm just doing her baby hairs trying to finesse around the mask. I can't wait so we don't got to wear these no more, but then again, i think that some people is going to be trained so to just want to wear them forever, just because we so used to it. I don't know if it'll ever go back to fully normal but yeah. Now i'm done you guys, just just rewind back to how she came and then come back to the now. It'S amazing okay, what are we doing? What we doing, what we doing, what we doing? Okay, this was a quick weave, but, as you can see, she has like a really short haircut like she only have hair on top really and then the rest of her hair is like shaved down really short. So, instead of braiding her, i just molded her down with the um black, quick weave liquid cap stuff and um. I'M gon na cut her ears out and then apply some more on top and then, of course, i'm going to spray all over with the got to be and then set her under the dryer back at it again. We'Re just laying the tracks and she actually has some hair from she. She had three bundles. I remember, and so i'm doubling all her tracks - and i remember she sat down and she was like. Is this hair? Okay, it's just from the hair store. I didn't order. No hair and i'm like girl yeah, don't have to be bundles, especially for a quick weave. Now, when it comes to a sewing, i will say like you need in my opinion, you should get some good hair because a sewing like you keeping that in for a much longer time, probably than a quick weave, and it just needs to be some good hair. That'S not gon na nap up at the neck, and so she just wants wanted it to be straight, but like a lot, if you want curls and like stuff like it just depends like. If you want good results, you got to get good hair and that's just that's just what i firmly believe in like. Even when i do some people curls the type of hair, you get determine how your curls going to be all hair. Just do not curl the same but yeah as you all can see. She has the body weight bundles too, so i'm just silking her hair out, as i install her bundles in one at a time and as you can see, i'm taking some pretty big sections when i'm flat ironing. That'S what i really love about these flowers. They have a one inch plate size, so you're able to take bigger sections which makes the styling time much quicker and i feel like people who get body weight, hair honestly, never wear body waves literally like they always wear straight or maybe get some curls. But i don't know when the last time i seen somebody wearing some body wave hair and leaving it body weight. Okay. So now i'm about to suck on her leave out, but as y'all can see her hair, her real hair have red tips. So when i silks her out, you can see it's like silt super fashion, but it's not blended. So i told her what the options would be and right here, i'm just asking her if she wanted it because she wasn't sure if she wanted me to um, do the black spray method, and so after looking at it, she was like. Do it look bad and i'm like yeah really like you do, but i was trying to say it in a nice way like you do, but um yeah, so she ended up letting me do the black spray. So what i did was spray some of the black spray on there and then spray some got to be spray to dry it so that when you touch it, it won't rub off on your hands. But this is like a temporary method, so it probably will rip on your pillows a little bit, but you know just to keep her from going out looking crazy. So now we are doing a half a pack down and do you all know that style that's going around right? Now, that's really popular! It'S like the freedom braids on top and then the hair be in the back. That'S what she had, but when the braid started to look, oh, the quick weave was still good, so um i told her like we could just take the braids out and then do a half up, half down style turn it top half that was embraced into a Ponytail, so that's what we're doing and i'm just silking her out right here, i just um when we took the braids out, i just washed her top half and then i'm sucking her out and y'all. This is my mama. That'S why she's got no mask on and she have a real fine texture of hair. So i turn my flat iron down to 430 degrees instead of 450. and y'all can see. I was taking big sections like i said earlier, oh and she still got to get her edges pressed though, and i had asked her - did she want like the natural two little swoops on each side, type of baby hairs, or did she want dramatic, and she said She want dramatic all across so i'm just taking all her baby hairs and slicking her pony up, i'm taking some holding spray to lock everything in place and then i'm gon na blow dry it and then i'm just gon na braid, her real hair down and then Wrap it around to a little knot and then this is a wrap strip. You just wrap it around the lid knot and then um put a rubber band on top of it and then you're just going to glue your tracks around the ponytail. So now we're all done and i'm just brushing it out and then i'm going to wet her hair down with the spray bottle because she got the same kind of hair as the last girl had not the last girl, but the girl, the the frontal touch up. That'S the same hair as this hair, so yeah, i'm just wetting it down. Y'All like that color cause. I did the color, but she want hers to be a little bit lighter. So i'm gon na make hers lighter! Oh, not a swoops. I really love swoops, but i'm not gon na lie. I'M not really the type of person that can't maintain them like that either like i feel like the swoops, always look better than the first day, and then i even if i keep my scarf on, like i, don't even take my scarf off unless i'm walking out The door, if i'm in the house, my star phone but yeah - i don't i don't. I don't know. I see why people don't get swoops because it is hard to maintain, and especially if you don't know how to redo them. But she likes the dramatic swoops, probably because i can redo them for her. Whenever what y'all think oh and i forgot to say when i, when my clients first come in, i always got um. I make them get hand sanitizer at the front like at the front desk. We got hand sanitizer up there and then they have to sign this kobe waiver and we take their temperature, and i have recorded like how to look for this area. Look and like the um, a picture of the cover waiver and stuff, but i'm already at the end of the video doing a voice over and if i put it in right now, it's gon na mess up everything. So i'm not adding it because i'm not we're going to redo everything, but yeah and everybody still got to wear a mask. Even though they lifted up the mask restrictions. We still make people wear a mess. Well, i know in michigan it's lifted. I don't know it's lifted all over the world, but yeah, i'm done you guys. I hope y'all like this video and let me know what y'all think in the comments. If y'all want another type of video like this, like in a day type videos, i do nails too, so i might have some nail clients next time but yeah. Just let me know what you guys think, and this is her final product. Let me know what hairstyle was your favorite out of today's video and um. Don'T forget to like this video and subscribe to my channel and make sure y'all follow me on instagram too, and see y'all in my next video bye.
