Thanks for your room, you can literally type in any brand and they're gon na. Have it like Michael Kors Gucci, but for luxury items. You can also get free authentification if you spend over $ 500. So that's super cool too. So click the link in the description to go, download, Poshmark and start your own closet. What are you waiting for? Go click it boo! If you want to know about terrible hair experiences and keep watching the freakin video guys, so this first story is all my fault and it's basically an amazing great example, because I give you a lot of examples of these of how tear, while I am with money. So I have been like obsessed with extensions on my life right. These are clipping extensions, but I love like real head extensions. Like gim me, the freaking, a permanent extension give me the beads give me the tapes give me at all, so I had extensions for. Like years, I had moved up here and I was definitely getting involved in like Orange County culture, la culture and I was like damn. I need to step up my game and I had short extensions at the time and I just wanted long beautiful flowing locks. So I found this place and they were really good. They actually did like my first set of extensions, which you're gon na laugh cuz. This isn't good. This is like terrible, but I was also making like really good money at the time, but I believe my first set of extensions was about. Like 800 bucks I was on top of the world. My hair looked freaking fire. I looked great okay, so I ended up like building a relationship with this company and they were really really nice. The owner was so cool. She loved me they'd, always ask about my YouTube and things like that. Also, I'm gon na say by the way before I like continue this video. I actually got this idea from another youtuber. I just found her channel. Her name was like Sarah Bergen or something, but I saw her post, something that was very similar to this, and I was like, oh my god. She reminded me of this so shout out to her for like giving me this idea. Everything was good built. A relationship of this company always do you know, didn't spend more than like eight hundred dollars there. I mean that's a lot of money, but you know didn't ever think I would spend any more than that. So I had just gotten new extensions. Like literally just spent by like 750 $ 800 on a new basic set of extensions, when I had brown hair, I saw the video of ariana grande. What was she doing with the cycling one? I saw that video where she was like on the cycle and her hair looked like so long less. She seems like a little bit more blonde at the ends a little bit balayage and I was like. Oh my god. I want this, so I literally texted the owner of the salon. I was like, oh my god, I want this hair, basically of Oregon a grande. Can you make this happen? I said she was like coming tomorrow. Like we got you, I was pretty broke at this time. Let me you know remind you that I had just bought $ 800 extensions, maybe like a little less than a month ago. So your girl egg wasn't rolling in the dough. She wasn't thriving like she thinks she always is or she was. I got in there and I kid you not at this point. Yes, I was making good money, but I was spending it just as fast as I was making it. I literally had you guys. I literally had one thousand five hundred and nine dollars, one thousand five hundred nine dollars going in thinking. I'M gon na get this like ariana grande hair, which first of all are his hair, isn't even real. I definitely like looked after her hair and, like still do honestly, she's so beautiful her hair is always amazing. Obviously I knew her hair was extensions, but I thought like for some reason she, like always had it on and stuff like no that's staged hair like she definitely doesn't go to sleep with all of that hair, and so I was like so set on like having Permanent Ariana Grande hair, perfect I'll, have like hundreds of dollars left before I get pains like everything will be fine, so I go in and I don't even think they had to dye my hair, like they didn't, do anything but like basically give me new extensions, because My hair was already brown. I think I was just getting lighter extensions all around, so it wasn't even like really the ball you actually wanted. It was like literally just like blonder hair, like it wasn't what I wanted. That'S okay, because you can't exactly get what you want, especially if you're going in like the next day. You can't get like customized extensions. You know you're just gon na get like. What'S there what they have, they made my hair absolutely gorgeous, but they made it thick. Like ariana grande's, which costs more because the thickness of the hair matters for price, you can get like fin extensions like a row for like probably way cheaper. But I guess I wanted like the most. So they put like all this hair in my head and I obviously don't know exactly how much I don't really know the prices, I'm just gon na kind of find out at the register after right and I'm like what look good my hair's long hair steak there, Like hyping me up everything's great, my hair is not what I wanted, but it's beautiful, it's beautiful hair, it's beautiful extensions, we go to checkout and they take the pictures of me there. I'Ve me up, like I said, and I go to the girl at the front to give me my receipt, and so I can pay and the receipt comes out. It was fourteen eighty, seven one thousand four hundred and eighty seven dollars. I was genuinely not expecting because I just wasn't thinking about like the thickness and stuff I was just kind of thinking like it was all the same. If you probably asked the probably some things like that was just very naive unless she's like I'll buy it whatever it is. No, I didn't have that much money and I actually at this point it was like literally mid month. I was not getting paid for, like a few more weeks. Are you [, __, ] kidding me? I was like hurt like physically her. I am never in my life spent that much on my hair, that was the most expensive hair extensions I've ever gotten. Yes, I would not say it wasn't worth it, it was worth it, but it got grows really fast. Permanent extensions like damaged really quick, at least like those did. It was like raw hay within like a month, so basically the fifteen hundred dollars. I spent on extensions. Didn'T even laugh to me that long and I was just like literally heartbroken yeah, your girl spent $ 1,500 at the hair salon when she had $ 1,500 in her bank account. So don't be like me, don't make that mistake, us girls just get finesse. Sometimes we just get finesse, I even finesse. We just spend a lot of [ __ ] money on our hair and we shouldn't okay. So this is the last little story, and this is just. I don't really know how to like explain this. Basically, this was a salon that I had seen in my area and I was like, oh my god. They have good reviews like they do really cool like hair. Let'S go here so I ended up going in and the first time I ever went in. I think I was going brunette and I met this guy. He was really really cool. He was just a hair salon guy there and he dyed my hair brown. It looked great and he like found out. I was a youtuber, so keno was like. Oh that's cool. We have like a product line coming out. Maybe you can like promote it, and things like that. It was. Like short, I'm ended up like kind of building a relationship with them. They invited me to like their opening party like for the products like when they were to go on sales. So we had a big party at the hair salon and I was there and that was actually where I met a girl that I titled a vlog about, because this girl had like been like. So buddy-buddy with me is still like my friend, but you could tell she was like so unlike me, she was so LA. I like followed me on Instagram. We were, like you, know, friends, it's so like that, and I'm like. I look and she's like a big Instagram, but she was like a lot of hollering. She was a few hundred K and she like unfollowed me right after she met me and I was like, but her I was like I'm trying to make real friendships, real connections. Relationships like notches me down a party. I act like we're. Friends doesn't unfollow me just because you didn't want to be real to my face. You know so I was super pressed about that back then and yeah. I met this like really [ __ ] history. I roll everything was good until around. Like late, I think was like a month after the party I went in to go, get like really long extensions. I know I gave them like an envelope of like 500 bucks or something, but I had to go like down to the store and like figure out what I wanted to figure out the amount and stuff, and then they were just gon na go buy it with Their discount or something so I was like super super sweet. I ended up coming back in and this guy was like always so rude to me. I just did not like this guy, I'm not even gon na give him a name. I'M just gon na call him like this guy, but he was like always just like rude to me and just like I could tell he didn't like me like putting my extensions like didn't, really talk to me or literally at all. I don't think he said. One word to me, but the guy that originally did my hair loved him he's still really cool. Everything was good, but they I just like put me off. So I was had a weird vibe and they put in my tape extensions. It was the first time getting campus extensions, and this was another situation where I said remember when I like wanted the ariana grande in here, and I was trying to get that this was like another one of those situations where I showed them. What I wanted - and it looks nothing like a like - but you know you kind of - have to go with the extension colors. It'S not really anything. You can do cuz if you die the extensions, it's more damaging and stuff, so she's kind of, like whatever gave them a tip. Everything was good. I don't really remember the timeline for this. I want to say it was like a few weeks. Maybe - and there was no official like we had got signed a contract, we had not discussed anything. We had not done anything, but I had gotten free product. So I was like you know, stoked about it cool I got. A free product got a nice little goodie bag of stuff at the party, and I've been using it testing it out. Seeing how I liked it, I literally met was like the owner also, and she was just like discussing and they like yeah. You can like do this to promote us and this to promote us, but they weren't paying me, and so that's where I think it kind of like bugs me, and it's like, I was never ever shown my worst like at the time. I was probably getting more views then than I even am now I was you know worth more and I feel like a lot of brands, and that is just the pit of my pet peeves is, do not show you what you're worth when you're a youtuber or An instagramer or just somebody online like they just want to give you a free product and get the most from it. I mean I when I was took to dinner, and there was no talk about payment or anything. It was just purely like. Okay, you're gon na get product. How can you promote us kind of thing? It'S not like. I got free extensions and stuff like that, but just how some of the things went down, I just a just trying to either way literally. I just rubbed me the wrong way and I feel like it just wasn't made for a club and I feel like I was just doing it because I was taken to dinner and they were super nice to me. You know, and I was like okay. This is cool like this could potentially like become a bigger club like this is awesome. There'S no contracts, there's no payment. It'S not like anything crazy, in my opinion, where it was like on a timeline that I had to do something you know. So all of that had happened, you know, we've gone to dinner and there was no payment discussed. I was just gon na get free product and I was told to basically make a video about it and if you know me, I'm very picky with videos on my channel. I do not like to just like promote [ __ ], especially for free. I'M sorry like I have to really like this stuff. I need to be properly compensated and I need it to be something my subscribers would actually want use and stuff like that. So I knew you guys would probably be interested in hair stuff, but did I want to make a whole video about hair stuff? Absolutely not. That does not have anything to do with my channel, as you guys know, I'm a storytime channel and I feel like a lot of brands. Do that and they'll be like oh, promote my stuff post a whole video I'll, give you some free product, but I have nothing to do with your product, so why would I share that with my subscribers, because my subscribers don't care about that? You know I'm not a beauty channel, and that was like the frustration with me, but I'm like okay, I'm gon na be nice. I'M gon na do it so you gave me free product at the party like everything's cool. I will make some kind of video for them. I will do it, let's just do it so spend like a few weeks after my extensions have been put in, and I go in because they're starting to fall out of my head tape, extensions or the way that they were put in was the worst thing. I'Ve ever done in my life, it damaged my hair. It was disgusting, sticky flying out of my head sticking out of my head. Just the worst exceptions you could ever possibly imagine I hated them and honestly, I really do feel like it was a little bit of the installation, because a lot of people love to extend extensions. But mine were just falling out of my head and I wasn't conditioning the top of my head or anything or doing anything wrong. I was following all the instructions and they were falling. The [ __ ] out of my head, so I was starting to get frustrated. It was like right before a rave, I think, and so I taken all the pieces and I just decided to go in randomly one day because I was in the area to go by and to get them put back in my head. I walk in and the guy that I really liked it usually does my hair. Wasn'T there that day, so I was like [ __ ], so I get taken back to the guy that I don't really like that originally put him in. Probably not that good and just kind of like he doesn't attitude he just had like a like. Oh yeah attitude. I sit down in his chair and I'm like ready to get my extensions in and he doesn't even like really greet me. You'Re, like be that nice to me, and basically the first thing he says to me, is like so um where's, your video. I thought we had a deal. I thought you were gon na, be posting a video and the owner and I don't see it and he got really really upset with me in the chair and I felt really uncomfortable. I was like, oh, oh, don't worry, I literally have the plans. I'M gon na post it like right after I get back from this rave like I already know what I'm doing, and I was like kind of still formulating what I wanted to do. Cuz I just had a free product, and what am I gon na do talk about [, __, ], hair products for a whole last video, you guys do talk hair. He was just being so rude to me and he kind of like led off cuz. He knew I was like uncomfortable, so he didn't do my hair. He didn't fix anything. He scolded me about not having a video up yet which there was no timeline ever announced. I wasn't being paid as I'm gon na say for like the sixtieth time, and it was just like. I was just kind of on my own time, like letting my creativity flow until I came up with something that I could fully promote them in, and I wasn't even gon na turn hi. It'S me again so before anybody comes for me, I just want to say, because I didn't say it in the video that I promoted them like crazy on my Instagram, multiple posts, multiple stories all over Twitter mentioned them and YouTube videos vlog about something like I did. The most - and it was just a video that I hadn't uploaded yet, and I didn't make that clear. I always give like free promo lots of promo just like because I'm happy with the company or whatever, so I was promoting the crap out of them. It'S still got scolded over like the thing that I wanted to take my time and be creative and that I wasn't getting paid for and we didn't have a contract on it. It was just like okay rude, so I was mad that he scolded me. I do not like when people scold me or talk to me like that, I really hate it. It makes me very uncomfortable and I'm waiting for him he's like oh wait. We need like a different kind of thing to like put this back in your head, so he walks away and he's gone for a good like 10-15 minutes and he comes back and I'm like just waiting to get my hair in, because the way that you did It obviously wasn't good enough, and he says he doesn't have the stuff to properly put it back in or the proper tape and that he's gon na have to go, buy some more stuff for it or I'm. Gon na go have to buy the stuff for it and take it back to him another time and be able to fix it. He basically tells me he can't fix my hair that he put in so I'm annoyed. I'M sorry! I was pissed and I walk out of there and I'm like okay. I really don't want to work at these people anymore, like I'll, put up the video, because I'm a little like embarrassed that he yelled at me. I guess like I'll, put up the video ASAP but, like I'm mad, and so I had to go down to like this random store, go get this special stuff and trying to put in the deep extension myself with absolutely no knowledge. And so I put in this [ __ ] extension terribly, and it's sticking out of my head, like full sticking out of my head and I had to walk around the rave like that was just extensions flying out of my head, because I put the tape or Glue or whatever the [ __ ], it is in so badly that I like ruined my hair, and I walked around the rave looking so dumb because he didn't want to help me basically put in my extensions. If you have extensions, why can't you just put a mic in my head? I don't get it or at least have the stuff to fix it. I was so confused and very very noid. So shortly after the rave, I had to posting a video and it was like a space fun tutorial or something. It was something like that. I did not want to do it all. It literally got like three views and I was so [ __ ] embarrassed how low views it was cuz. I knew no one was gon na watch it, so I left it up for a good few days, so they could get their promo and I deleted the [ __ ] out of that [ __ ] and I never went back or ever talked to them again And it wasn't anyone's fault but, like I'm sorry, I'm not gon na be forced to make a whole dedicated video for $ 0 dedicated videos youtubers charge all a lot of money. Thousands of dollars just know that I still like occasionally talk to the guy that I really liked, but everyone else I'm like no, I don't really want to work with the brand and it really has nothing to do with them. I didn't have a good experience with, obviously that one guy that was like kind of rude to me, but other than that I just personally didn't want to sit around promoting hair products all day like. I will definitely do a sponsor and do a lot of sponsors. If it's gon na be like you're gon na be like that intense on me for, like $ 0, paying me sorry honey, I don't work with a company like that, so I'm just kind of over it and I just didn't work with him anymore, so yeah. That is a haul for me today. You guys thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you kind of enjoyed it do not forget to subscribe to my channel and turn on the notification bell. MariGoofy14: I don’t understand how rude people pick jobs where they have to work with PEOPLE lol.

Julie Bilotta: Funniest thing ever I was walking out of a pharmacy and this guy is like excuse me miss you dropped something and he’s literally holding one of my tape in extensions so embarrassing

Lorena Maria: Uhh girl no. I am a hair extension technician and I do this for a living. The extensions I use on my clients last up to a year sometimes more with good care and they are a little over a quarter of the price you spent. So if yours turned to straw in a month and you paid $1500 you got seriously scammed.

EVERDEENXOXO: I tried selling some Louis Vouton shoes on Poshmark and the person paid and received the shoes. She then said they were too small and sent knock offs (worn out) back to me. I made a complaint with poshmark and they did nothing but credit me like $35 ya like that can replace brand new, never worn $900 shoes

Emma Kapotes: Ew why do people expect you to WORK FOR THEM for FREE! It was nice of you to even promote them on Instagram. Don't let people demean your worth lady

Nadežda Ristović: We love a good storytime and tea spill ❤

Rellie Kanee: Loving these story times girl!! Give tape ins another chance, I love them!

Amber F: Your hair and makeup is absolutely beautiful. I would be livid if that happened to me with my hair. There is no reason that he should be rude...it is crazy.

your mom: you deserve so many more subscribers :( love your videos and honesty <33

Samihah Yasmin: OMG I had the same experience yesterday when I went to cut my hair. This really rude lady wouldn't cut my hair because I was wearing a headscarf and she was saying that she doesn't cut people's hair who wear a headscarf and started saying racist stuff to me, honestly felt like crying.

Lavish Lemons: Girl you've changed so much since I've started watching you. I love it! Your so amazing!

Thryss In Stitches: When you get your check: Pay your Bill's Put money back for FOOD and GAS until your next check. Put money back for incidentals. Put money back for savings. Then what's leftover is disposable income and you can spend it without worry.

Lucy White: Your hair right now is my favorite look i’ve seen on you after watching you for sooooo long!!! You’re killing it

Yari Lazo: That’s why I always ask pricing ahead never understood why people don’t.

Jim W: It's incredible that so many folks try to take advantage of YouTubers/Influencers and have you promote their stuff for free and then get mad when it doesn't work out. I have really been enjoying these story times and you look amzing in this one. Something abut the white background that gives you this magnificent glow. Have fabulous day Olivia.

victoriaremmons: I’m a hair stylist and I can’t understand why some stylists are so rude to their clients! That’s how you build your business. I’m sorry you had those experiences.

Victoria Anne: It took me YEARS until I found the right person to do my hair and she’s been my go to girl for 4 years now But going through trying to find the right person to do my hair was a nightmare because I’d have stylists tell me I couldn’t have the blonde I wanted in my hair due to my natural hair color, and I’d be overcharged for simple services. For example, I spent $200 on my hair wanting most of my hair being close to the blonde you are now, but instead it was paying for my hair to basically be yellow and brassy because there was “nothing more they could do” (they could’ve used toner). Love how your hair looks now by the way!

ella oeurr: Me : *hears $1500 in a hair salon* Runs

Sara Capeloa: Most I’ve paid for my hair was around $350 Canadian, and it physically hurt my heart and I was thinking about it for weeks.... cannot imagine 1500, only to still be thinking about it when the extensions go to shit

haileemiasienna: Side note: I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS SOOOO MUCH but, if you did do any beauty vids I would totally be interested. Even doing more get ready with mes or chit chat get ready with mes

diamond love: love you so much thank you for making me laugh even when my day has been terrible

Kayla Natalie: When you were talking about brands not showing your worth, that spoke to me. It’s so sad how brands can take advantage of creators.

Emma Dear: Hi Olivia I think I found you 2 years ago from your tinder story times lol. This had been one of the few channels I've been subbed to for years. I just wanted to encourage you... Or just idk. As a viewer what keeps me coming back... Ik you know you're viewers love story times and it's awesome to see you coming back with motivation and story times ofc❤️ but even the recent stuff just like real raw content opening up about weight loss, life struggles, or you and Seb. There's an element of authenticity you let you viewers in on the real you and not just content or work you just put out (even though it's all amazing ❤️) I just wanted to say I love you and thanks for all you do❤️ I love all the story times and the snippets of vulnerability we get to see too. I love that you're real- the authentic and genuine moments coupled in with everything else make your audience connected to you. I hope your weeks going well love

Shay: I had extensions when I went to the beach going into my senior year of high school. They faded from the sun and I immediately wanted to dye my hair the second I got home. I went to the woman that had done my hair for my high school dances, as well as both of my parents hair for years. I usually dye my own hair because I know what I am doing, but I figured since I had extensions, I'd go to a professional to make sure everything was even since it was difficult to get to my roots. BIG MISTAKE. She dyed my hair and SHAMPOOED IT instead of conditioning it, which caused it to get all matted and completely ruined them. Instead of using a glue remover, she decided to yank them out of my head. She pulled the hair follicles out of my scalp which in turn caused me to develop alopecia areata. That was nine years ago and I still have alopecia and am forced to wear extensions everyday. I don't let anyone other than my dermatologist touch my hair now. I have to get shots in my head and use ointments to make my hair grow in my bald spots. I was traumatized beyond words.

William Humber Hawk: Hi Olivia, I only go to a barberfor about $15 to $20 a visit. Not too many bad experiences there apart from an ear knick on rare occasions. But I did have an experience years ago where I went to a barber in another town where he had stools with no backrests to sit on during the process instead of the old fashioned type barbers chairs. When he was working on me he kept pressing himself against my back. I felt rather uncomfortable with that. This barber happened to be a retired NZ All Blacks rugby player so I suppose he had become used to close contact with other men in the scrums and tackles and perhaps didn't realise it may be slightly off putting.

Carlissa Neumann: Dude same!! I spent around $2000 on permanent hair extensions and I ended up hating them because they were so much maintenance and so itchy in my head so I ended up taking them out like two months later wasted all that money

Alliemain97: Can you please do a video on how you clip in and blend your extensions when straight?? They look amazing

Linda Orduno: Love the video!! Can you do a vid on what are your fav extensions since you have a ton of experience with them? Also, love your gloss, which one is it?

Elly: Omg Olivia you're so nice, on both occasions I would've been like bye Felicia! ✌ lol

Nicole Gagnon: Just curious, did you ever ask them if they could pay you?

Ladymcgaga 17: I feel bad when I hear your stories that involve wasting money since we know you could use that money now

Sierra: LOL GIRL this is why I NEVER get my hair done at salons anymore, people are rude af damn

Amy Ann: Girl I love tape ins! I’ve been using Bellami’s and they last me for a year and half. Let me do them for you!! Lol

Cait M: And this is why I'm scared to do anything drastic to my hair! I wanna go blonde one day but It would probably require a lot of maintenance unless I get a shadow root/balayage situation... I've got low maintenance highlights right now but I feel like that's the gateway drug to blonde xD

mariangela serrano: Olivia I’ve been watching you for years I don’t know why I’ve never commented in your videos but you are so beautiful and amazing. God bless you!

Tina Gutierrez: This is why I always ask the price of everything I want to get before I get it. Prices are so crazy

Nadežda Ristović: You should do a video I WENT TO WORST REVIEWED MAKEUP STUDIO and film it ❤

Xavier M: Did you get overdraft in your bank account? I remember I had $1,000 in my account and went over, not thinking anything lol

CianahMonaa: loving the consistency

Alison Bowers: The most i pay for a haircut is $14... or i cut it myself. I’m too cheap.

Jasmine M: the most i've ever spent on hair was 400 dollars for a cut, bleach, colour, ANOTHER bleach and then more colour to get my hair purple lol

QueenNiBaby: That is extremely unprofessional. She should’ve told you a ball park of how much you were going to be paying. I went to school for that shit and they’re suppose to let you know before they even start.
