It took me a while to figure out what products, and curly hair rountine works. Heat is bad for curly hair, way to go for not using heat. I don’t use heat either, I wash my hair with conditioner to help frizz twice a week. I only shampoo if my scalp is dirty. Then I apply a leave in, aunt Jackie coconut cream leave in has been a life saver.

Shena: People of African Descendant hair is very DIFFERENT. It is VERY THICK. The hair is STRONG but you MUST Be CAREFUL with it. ONE could say, "It has a Personality of its On." If you Wash it ☔Everyday or to Often, " It will become VERY DRY and BRITTLE than it Will BREAK OFF." THE Breakage can be a LITTLE to A LOT. Half of the Strand or down to the ROOT Can Break. The hair doesn't SMELL, Only of Hair Products. So, Moisture MUST REMAIN in this Type of Hair. Water is NOT this Type of Hair Best Friend. The Jell is to HOLD/KEEP it in Place or ♀️♂️Under Control ♂️because it is So Much, So Thick, and So Strong. I hope this Help you better understand.

Liz E.: Be prepared for Fanta to have afro hair and not stay as it currently is, my kids are mixed (white british/Black African) and they all had lovely soft waves when they were born but as they grew it changed into lovely afro hair albeit softer in texture than their fathers so its not as coarse, they use products for afro hair such as Ors Olive Oil and Cantu products which keeps it all healthy and supple, if they use certain hair products like herbal essence or pantene it dries out their hair.
