What'S good, everybody welcome back to the channel with your maiden girls, that's us, i'm mel and i'm amanda. We are sea stairs and we are here because we're having a bad hair day. Well, here's the thing now when you look at this you're gon na think wait. What'S bad, but let me tell you: let us tell you it's not always about how it looks, it's how it feels yeah and we both just tried something new yeah, because it's i mean it's. What we do. We try different products and we do it and we both consecutively said no bueno, no gracias goodbye. So in today's video we're going to share our current go-to routines, what we've been doing to style our hair lately, what we've been loving in our hair and just kind of chat and catch up? It'S now october, so cooling up around here we thought we need to talk about new routines, new things and what we've been loving. So, let's do it, then without further ado: let's get to it, can you show me i'm going to show you my butt to the sink where you're gon na wash my hair, that's a great place to start the wash we're gon na be washing your hair. Again, we just did it. She did research, i literally just washed my hair yesterday, it's so frustrating that i have to do it again, but today is currently a friday when we're filming this video and i'm not trying to walk into the weekend with bad hair. So but it's not dirty like my scalp's, not dirty, so we're going to go on with a moisturizing wash and we're going to use our go-to moisturizing, shampoo and conditioner that we reach for it's the aveda nutraplenish. We use lots of different products in general, but when it comes to shampoos and conditioners, i'm a bit of a shampoo snob. Like me too, i like to use reputable brands that i know i can trust. We'Ve been using aveda for years, and this is really nice going into the cooler months because it really it's almost like a co-wash shampoo, but it's still loud. It still gives you a good cleanse. It'S very nice and moisturizing, so we're just gon na go in with a gentle cleanse here using the shampoo and conditioner yeah. You always recommend this line to me whenever my hair needs a good wash, but it's also very dry. I just washed my hair yesterday, so i don't want to do anything that's too stripping to dry it out. So this is what we're going to be using we're fresh we're clean. I'M actually really digging this deep side. You see this yeah, it looks good, maybe she's, never like that. I think i'm going to do a side part today we're going to prep our hair with a leave-in conditioner, we're going to use, take it away yeah, so we're going to use the aveda nutri-punish leave-in conditioner. I personally have been reaching for this a lot, especially during the summer, and not rolling into the fall, because it's so lightweight i talk about it all the time it can work for a lot of hair textures, and i really like how it has both uv protection And heat protection because i do like to diffuse my hair. This is the main reason why we're reaching for this. It'S going to give us heat protection up to 450 degrees, as we do diffuse our hair. It'S just like you know it's a little extra protection also, while this product is very light, it is very nourishing. You know, i think of you when i see this bottle really because i feel like this is your color yeah. It is my color. The other thing is um, this product, i'm big on smells. We like smelling good, especially with our hair products, a lot of times that dictates what i want. What i use for the day because, like what do i want to smell like this week, you know so this leave-in works really really well with the styling product that we're going to use we're just going to quickly brush this through and then i'll show you yeah And we're using our tangle tees or ultimate detanglers to detangle, and i was using the pink one yeah this one was yours and it has your hairs in it actually too late. Now something you should know about, while we are moving into the fall, fall, equals more falling hairs. We talked about this last year. You might be experiencing a little bit, more hair fall this season, and it's just something that is completely normal. Just something to be aware of, let's show her hair, it's like nice and wet, but not completely, soaking, no and more wet than just damp. It'S not a stem, so we're keeping our towels around us which, by the way, they're sold out now completely sold out, can't get them anymore, but you can still get the regular towels yeah. You guys can still. Our limited edition patterns are completely sold out. We want to just say yeah, quick! Thank you! Thank you, oh my goodness, so everyone that got there is super exciting and let's just put these bad boys up here and we're gon na. Take this one away: miss amanda, guido, miss a g. You follow us on instagram and you've been joining our amazon lives. You know that we've been teasing and we finally revealed the product that we have been using and it's the only styling product we have been using it's this bad boy, we're going to be using the ag curl fresh definer. This is their latest launch ag. Is a product i've been using since the beginning of my hair journey in general, yeah we've been using aeg for a very long time. Yes, but these are new. Yeah recently they've been almost rebranding into plant-based essentials yeah. This is part of their plant-based essentials. It'S 99 plant-based. Also, silicone free soft hold styling cream yeah. I would say it's more of a medium hold and that's what i really like about this cream. It'S it pairs beautifully with the aveda line. It has that very plant-like smell, very clean, fresh citrusy you're, also getting a little bit of that ginger scent in here. As there is ginger in the product itself. It is a lighter weight consistency. You can see how it's running down my hand. So it's not a very thick cream, which is something to note for finer textures. This could work pretty well for you as well. It has really nice slip. I get a veda vibe, so they yeah, i get it they pair very nicely. Together. We have really been liking, it yeah, so we tried started testing this out over a month ago and we've used it. We almost finished this exclusively and i personally have used it exclusively in my hair, routine, minus my last wash day where i tried some new products that didn't work out for me. So that's why i'm excited to use this now because we're gon na, like i said it's friday today, i want to walk into the weekend with really good hair and you're gon na see what i mean going into just general. I feel like we just don't want to be spending as much time on our hair routines, and so that's what's really nice about using these yeah. This could be the only thing you reach for yeah, like you, you don't have to use the leave-in like we did. I personally like to use that leave-in specifically, because i do like that little bit of heat protection, but you absolutely do not need to. This is definitely a one-and-done styling product, exactly you can totally customize it depending on what your hair is like and moving into the cooler months. You might want to use a leave-in conditioner and then don't skimp out on the leave-in conditioner. This part of our styling routine. I'D say is pretty much stayed the same, we're still using our tangle, teaser, ultimate detanglers, to not only detangle but also styler hair. You can see how we are pressing, the hair against each section to really help define and clump the curls together yeah. This is our go ahead and change yeah i feel like this is the fastest way to style my hair right now, and it's also, i just love the results again. I want you to see how easily the brush is gliding through um. Again this cream there's a lot of slime. It makes me want to scream yeah so much slip. This is probably my favorite product. I'Ve tried in 2021. I will give it that title. Would you yeah yeah, like i know, everyone wants a favorites video like for like last year, giving you the sneak peek. This is a favorite, oh yeah. This is a favorite. It will be. It'S really really impressed us in my routine. If you know us, we don't do one at duns, i've never done a one and done cream and been completely satisfied, but we'll show you the kind of hold it gives it's almost like. It is a gel in one we will be stocking up yeah. We will be stopped on this one yeah, so like moving into the fall. What is something that you feel your hair needs or like what changes happen to you? I don't for me. I think my hair doesn't change too much in the fall. It definitely takes a turn in the winter where it gets more dry, especially my scalp, my scalp screams at me in this in the winter. I get a lot of flakes a lot of itchiness, so i'll show you how much i'm taking for the top section, but in terms of like the fall, my hair stays pretty consistent. So what happens in the fall is while the temperatures are cooling down, it is like where we are it's a rainy season, but it's not the same type of humidity as the summer. So while there is moisture in the air, especially like sometimes in the morning and at night, it's like foggy and there's lots of dew in the air. That kind of humidity is scary, but i mean, as we've been testing this routine, especially this product like we've noticed it's been really good during this transitional period. Yeah and i do feel like it's going to continue to perform well going into the drier months as well. We'Ll have to see - and there have been a few other changes so at this point like everything's the same the way we style our hair, we like to, of course, we're styling sections. That is, like always always a necessity. In order for me to get really defined. Curls, but i have some new tips that i've learned or figured out kind of for volume. At my root, especially manny's got some new new toys. I got some new toys. I can't wait to share them, they're really fun to use as well. We know amanda she's, always the tool and toy girl. I'M always looking for gadgets that i like gadgets, she's a gadget gal. I am a gadget, a magic gal. I haven't tried what she's got what she's been using uh, but she's gon na show us some volume, boosting tips and tricks. I believe it's october. I can't believe it's almost the end of the year. I really wanted to color my hair. This month we were supposed to, but i can't we can't commit to a color. So if you have any ideas, let me know, but i'm feeling the rose gold tones like so who suggested that to you. I'Ve been following the trends yeah. What i notice is, there's nothing crazy out there um, you know, there's the money piece, that's very popular in straight hair, but i look for curly hair trends. What'S going to work well in curly, hair yeah, which you know you don't want to have to color your hair. Very often, you want low maintenance colors that last beautifully like amanda's hair. We colored it last time. Last year, it's been over a year. It still looks amazing, we don't even have to do it for the wedding that we have coming up. Oh yeah, we have another wedding. Should we vlog our day at the wedding season is definitely back full force? I'M done. I know you are. Do you wanna show my top section? I wanted to answer a couple questions, oh, that i was seeing about the curl cream sure go ahead because, like okay, so is there protein? Is there moisture like how do we break down this product? So we already talked about it's curl definer. You can pretty much use it all on its own and it really is a beautifully balanced product. So as when we talk about proteins, we talk about, you know, there's proteins and then there's like amino acids and peptides and and these types of ingredients that are similar to proteins, but a little bit more gentle and for anyone that is scared of proteins. Or you know, you don't need a lot like this is truly a nice gentle product, so this has keratin amino acids and it is also vegan and cruelty free. So i'm assuming that would be vegan keratin amino acids see how i'm always directing the brush upwards. I see i see that's for the volume right, there are p peptides and then derivatives from other ingredients, like rice extracts and rice of course does have. You know some proteins and like there is definitely protein in this product which are her loves protein and, as we have been using on its own, we haven't. I haven't felt like i've needed to supplement anything i haven't felt like. I need to use a leave-in that has protein or a gel on top, so it's definitely friendly for medium to high porosity, but it's also going to be very friendly for low porosity, because it's not overbearing and again it's really balanced with a lot of moisturizing ingredients. There'S a really nice oils in here a lot of very different oils in here, and there is glycerin in here, but it's not one of the top top ingredients. And while using this i mean we still will finish our hair. Okay, not crazy and we'll show you when we get to that step, but we're just going to let a sister finish yeah. So when i'm doing this top section of my hair, you haven't seen me do this before. I do like to take diagonal sections because my hair is longer. I find it helps me um style, the hair, a lot more easier and i get a lot of great volume this way. So i'm just gon na start by first detangling, the section and then i'm going to style it pointing the hair upwards so that when it falls down, i get nice volume at the root. That sounds great. I have no idea what i look like see. Look at this one, i'm getting already yeah man we're going to take it to the next step. With this next trick. I might use one of these. This is the new gadget that i found. I did a. I went as a black hole and i found a bunch of just like fun amazon gadgets that i could try, and these are one of them. These are root clips that i found on amazon. It came in a pack of four. It gives me perm rock vibes. It does yeah, i show them it's like a. They have a barrel, it's a barrel, but there's also like these little teeth on the side, which i'm not going to, i kind of scared. What are they for? I'M sure it's to help brush the hair. These could definitely still be used in straight. Hair pictures show them used on straight hair, but i thought to try them on my hair, so i really liked how it worked and i'm going to show you how to do it right now and you weren't scared of the teeth they didn't get stuck in. My hair you'll have to show us your technique, all right how i like to use these root clips. To give me a lot more volume is well. I only need about three so starting right here at the temp, just above the temple so right here in the corner of my head, i'm just gon na section out the hair here and grab about maybe an inch wide of hair, very gently. It doesn't need to be a perfect section, i'm going to lift the hair up and i'm going to take the clip and i'm just going to clip it right here at the root. Then i'm taking another section right in the middle again, i'm taking about an inch thick section, i'm being very gentle when i'm taking the section, because i don't want to break up the curls that i created grabbing another clip here, i'm just gon na clip it right At the root - and then one last section here so for this section, i want the curls to curl in the opposite direction. So i'm going to take the clip and put the barrel on on that side. So that's what it should look like interesting at this point. So see i feel, like i made a little bit of frizz in this section here, i'm just going to brush it out again and if you need to add some more water or product, but my hair is still pretty damp and i'm just gon na style. It once more with the brush just so that i can smooth over any frizz that i might have created there and i'll do the same on this side. I couldn't wait to show you guys this technique, because i tried it for the first time the other day, and i was like wow. This actually worked for an hour and i was pretty proud of myself and now. This is what we look like before we're going to dry, of course, mel mel's just trying to try my technique today. You could use these clips to help you air dry to really get that volume, while your hair is air drying that we all struggle with or you can simply just blow dry. Your hair with the clip in i'll show you how i like to do that. I have been diffusing my hair a little bit differently lately. What i do is, i first of course, start using the diffuser on my dyson super sonic hovering around my roots. First, until i get about to 80 percent dry i'll scrunch, the hair until it's fully dry and then to finish, i take out my root clips and use the gentle air attachment to diffuse the roots and really make sure that everything is dry. And it's also going to add that extra layer of volume, this part is optional, but i am putting the root clips back in just to help really set the volume in place. I typically just let it sit like this, while i'm doing my makeup so now. This is where we're at yeah and if you thought we looked crazy before it's gon na look even worse now i feel like it's cute it'll, look good we're going to finish off her hair yeah. First, let's show them the cast. You didn't stretch it out. No, i haven't touched it so besides diffusing the hair has got a beautiful crust to it and that's what excites me most about this product is the cast that i get. You know that we love cast even without a gel yeah. It really has a nice hole to it, even though it's a little deceiving on the website and on the product. It says soft hold soft hold styling cream, but in our experience i wouldn't say it's soft. It'S got a really good hold, but if you aren't getting a hold with this product, because i've had a few questions from people who already have this product and they're asking, how did you get the cast just make sure that your hair is not too wet when You'Re styling, because that will dilute it, make sure you're not touching it while it's drying, because you're scrunching up the cast before it can form make sure your hair is completely dry before you go in and touch it, i mean yeah. The other thing, i would say, is make sure you're using a gel or a mousse, but yeah try using less water. First yeah and you'll find that this product really does offer good hold yeah that we're now going to scrunch out. I want to mention um, you shouldn't touch your hair too much with just perfectly clean hands, because you could cause some static and some frizzies. That'S why we always i mean we're oils and serum gals. Yes, we always like to coat our hands with an oil just to soften up and break it break everything up and we've been obsessed with this oil bonding oils sucrose with bonding oil, another great way to infuse a little extra protein into your routine, because this is Actually, a protein enriched product, yeah vegan protein vegan keratin, so it's going to help protect your hair and strengthen it at the same time. Yeah it's a very nice lightweight oil smells so good. If you have the boncho we have salve, it smells exactly like it. It'S this pearl smith strengthening line, and we want to first smooth it over the curls to add that layer of protection - and i'm just you know what i'll just do one side first, so you can really see scrunched versus unscrunched. You can kind of clap the hair. A little bit scrunch: are we ready to take our clips out now beautiful yeah? I'M ready i'm going to take this clip out here. Yeah. Let'S take yours out first and see what it did. I don't know careful very gentle when taking it out. Look at that ma'am it worked. Did it give me a little? Oh, my god it did. You should have put one on the other side, but we only have four yeah again. The only thing that concerns me is those little teeth, but i don't usually like root clips because with like the little two prong clips, because those can get really caught in the hair, at least these don't get caught like the springs. They work, obviously we're just gon na shake this out, because it's too stiff this whole step really can't be skipped. It'S crucial because if you don't do this kind of scrunching and finishing of your style, you're just going to be walking around like this, my hair before scrunching and then after yeah right right now, i'm going to scrunch this a little tiny bit more oil. Look at us look at us saving our bad hair day and that's that our updated routine feels so much better the hair, just you! Maybe it doesn't look massively different. I think it does. I think it does. It feels a million times when we started it looks to me it looks massively different. The curls just look a lot more plump and healthy, and they don't have this nasty sticky residue yeah left on it. Yeah, of course, we'll link everything we use from the products down to the clips and gadgets that we like to use in our current styling, routine, so yeah, i liked it. I don't know if i'm gon na use those root clips. No, i'm okay, they're yours! I liked it i like them, they fit the barrel. Size is better for your curls yeah. I don't really need much help with root volume. Thankfully, and there you have it. Yes, thank you for watching today's video with the sea stairs, that's it. This has been amazing. Girls, amanda and mel, and we are out we're out peace, hello, well, hello, oh god, that is filming far too below waistline and it's not coordinating her pants with her outfit. She said i said: work from home work from home; yes, lights, camera action hold on yeah, okay, okay, okay, all right; okay, oh all, right! Okay, hey! What'S good everybody! My face is itchy. Is it lip gloss? No, why is there? Am i what's on your lips? You said you were gon na go. Do your lips looks like doesn't look like there's much on what i'm wearing just don't give me your herpes, because those are your peas and all i need is really not ew. Why is it lip glossy? It'S not supposed to be always been this formula. I bought these and you stole them. Do we look? Okay? What'S good everybody, hi cece hi nice to meet you if you're new um, if you haven't been around, then you haven't seen her. This is truman. You'Re, a train wreck; okay, we're a train wreck; so this video uh, we might say exactly exactly eggs.

Lisa Townsend: I just love to see how much Amanda has come out of her shell and has become such a good teacher. I have been watching for a couple years and I can remember Amanda was so shy. I love how you both compliment each other.

Ally Lamping: What if you had different people send videos of their curly hair routines and then you can watch and react? That way you can talk about dos and don'ts, what you like, what you'd change for many different hair types, textures, and curl patterns. Love your videos, btw!!

sarah m: i’m currently transitioning from extremely damaged hair to my natural curls- omg my curls are SOOOO wonky right now!! your videos have helped me so much with products and techniques, thank you

Soul Magical Michele: I absolutely love how much curl Amanda has compared to when she started. It's so healthy and beautiful.

CajunChild: Y’all have legit helped me transform my hair like no other. I was on day 3 of unwashed hair, up in a ponytail, sweating my butt off at work and some random guy came up to me and said “I LOVE YOUR HAIR. YOUR CURLS ARE PERFECT.” I had to do a double take to make sure he was talking to me thank you!!!

Amanda Guido: Happy texture Tuesday!! I hope you all enjoy our updated hair routines !! It’s been a while since we shared a video like this❤️❤️

Karla Henry: Who remembers when Amanda didn’t want to start her curly hair journey and now look how far she’s come

Minna Uyeda: This is just in time. My skin and hair freak out every September. I’ve been struggling for nice soft hair for a while. Your tips last week were so helpful, and using more tension on my brush styling made such a difference! Thanks Mel and Amanda!

Emily: We need to just stop and appreciate the fall burnt Orange/brown color coordination right down to the towel. Thank you for the fall hair fall reminder! I’m a tad over dramatic, so I had quite a drastic scenarios in mind. ‍♀️ My weather sounds similar to yours & the temp changes a lot in a short timeframe. That cream looks amazing! I’m allergic to lavender & eucalyptus though. I’m thrilled for you & others. This might help more people embrace their curl. I’ve been every shade of red from barely there “is that reddish or brown?” dark auburn to current orange red. Always from the salon & same stylist. She’s a magician with color. Could a rose gold or rose gold hi-lights or even lowlights work? My stylist & I love experimenting on my hair. Even the “oops” & “didn’t expect that” results turn out great. I do have high porosity hair. She refuses to do anything to compromise my overall hair health & I don’t mind a lot of upkeep at home. Thanks for another great video! I always love Seester videos.

joygirl: Mel, how would you describe Amanda’s current layers? I have a curly cut next week and I always struggle to communicate with my hair stylist about the layers I want- and Amanda’s are perfect!

Abigail Lara: you both make me want to stop everything I'm doing and start doing my hair routine. And honestly you both give great advice I should have followed. I ended up ruining my curls and had to do a big chop, but the good thing is that I get to start over while most definitely following your advise. And I love to see how far Amanda has come with her curls, it so beautiful to see her and her beautiful curls.

Megan Johnson: Personally, I LOVE the videos that show Amanda styling her own hair. My hair is similar to hers in length and density and though mine is actually a little longer, it's so important for me to be able to see an influencer with long hair, styling her own hair. Most of the influencers have shoulder'ish length hair and the way they brush and the amount of product they use is completely different for them. With my hair being twice as long, I need more of everything. So her tips are super helpful I even had my stylist give me shorter top layers, similar to Amandas bc I love her hair and they have worked beautifully for me!

Lisa McCurry: 61 yrs old and can’t wait till each Texture Tuesday!

Rishawna Gephardt: Wow this video is right on time for my funky fall curls! I literally just said my hair changed over night with the weather. Thanks so much for all the awesome tips. I got my Denman brush out today and some root clips and what a difference! I ran over to Ulta and got the AG cream, ordered the tangle teezer brush and the new root clips you showed too. Can't wait to try everything! Better hair days in my future for sure with your help! Thanks again!

Nicole Ziegler: MELL AND AMANDA so I’ve been trying to find the AG definer and I finally found it in stock at an Ulta out by my bf’s school. I gave him super specific instructions and he FaceTimed me so proudly that he found it I cannot wait to try it!!!

Christina: Thank you for another great Texture Tuesday! I just got the AG & really love it…the smell too! I’m going to experiment with different leave-in conditioners with this amazing product.

Deanna: Happy Texture Tuesday!!! My favorite seesters!! I'm so excited for this!! I know I will love it just like I always do!! Much love and happiness!! Xoxo

Andrea Roane: I love this tutorial. Some curly girl routines have 1000 products, but literally one styling and one scrunch oil… I’m excited to try on my 2c hair.

Derrick Jennifer Watkins: I love Texture Tuesday! I'm currently waiting on my AG Definer to arrive. The Bread Beauty hair cream seems to give me a good cast and work well as a one and done as well. Excited to compare them! Thanks Mell and Amanda!

Stanka Kordic: I haven’t seen you gals in a while and seems like Amanda’s hair is so much curlier these days. You are both Lovely and fun to watch

Tanya Klein: That moment I’m sooooo needing shampoo so I’m officially going to buy the Aveda! love you two! So inspiring

Tara 1: Amanda’s hair is so much more curly than her first video I saw her in. You should do a then and now video !

Natascha Dujakovic: Thank you so much for sharing your styling, haircuts and fun my curls are back again and I love them Can‘t wait for more lovely seesters videos you both are amazing

Kim Mefferd: I love you guys! I'm addicted to watching your videos and my curls have transformed since I've been watching. I get compliments everywhere I go, so thank you!!! I have a question though, what do you do with the products that you don't like? I now have a linen closet full of products and feel like I have to use them until they are empty even though I don't like the results. I have a hard time throwing away full bottles of product. I'm having trouble finding an affordable line of products that I love and get great results every time. Any advice you can give would be great!

Heather White: Just bought the AG cream. Got the cast. Love the shine I get! Hopefully the curls will hold until next wash day!

Courtney Boulds: I am so excited, I’m trying to get more involved in taking care of my curls. Products and how to care for my hair are the struggle. I’m so thankful for your channel for inspiring me to take care of my hair and to embrace it!

Jazmin Jordan: Beautiful curly hair routines, Mell and Amanda! Loved this!

Kelsie Francetich: Your videos are always so helpful! Thanks for being an honest advocate for curly hair!

Katherine Tejada: I love seester videos! I’ve tried the curl definer and it’s AMAZING!

FANOLA: Hi Ladies! Wow! Your hair looks so curly and full of life! Great job, loved the video!

Nic’ Cole: Thanks for giving us two different curl types. It’s super helpful.

Isabelle Vasquez: Love the curl fresh cream! Just picked it up, surprising hold you’re right! For all in the comments- section if you have thick hair it’s more important than it seems lmao. But my hair feels soft and looks good! Smells kinda lemony and herbal but not in a nasty way (IMO). I’d use ulta points or wait for a sale but it’s very good.

Sunny Notblind: Super excited to try these root clips! I usually use the big teeth chip clip hair thingies on the top of my hair for top volume

any: Mell, I commented on how I wanted to get a tangle teezer. I was able to get the Wet Detangler and I LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much for your helpful tips. I can spend less time on wash days and it forms such beautiful curls. I’m in love. May Jesus bless you always keep up with the amazing videos

NIkki Wallace: I’m so excited that I bought the limited edition towel set, I bought both. One for myself and one for my daughter.❤️

Tamara Pace: Love the side part, Mel! Amanda, your hair color looks so amazing! I can't believe that it's been a year since your last color!

bubeleg bubeleg: Hi, Mel and Amanda! I'm your huuuuge fan from Ukraine! I watch your every video and wish you all the best)) You, guys, changed my curly life a lot! After watching this video I have a few questions. I see you both brush your wet hair a lot but when I brush my hair I brush out all the products. And besides, my hair gets dry very quickly while I'm styling and a cast doesn't form properly. Water spraying doesn't help much:( And the last one. Why foggy weather dries the hair? Shouldn't it make effect of a steamer?

Claudia Okyere-Fosu: Hey Seesters I’m loving Aveda’s Nutriplenish™️ Leave In and especially the geleee it’s bomb

Chrissy Lane: You both look amazing. I can’t wait to get the AG one and done

Karen Monroe: Just received some samples and I refreshed with the AG on Day 3 hair and it is pretty amazing! Can’t wait to try it on clean hair.

Quatye Moon: So thankful you guys are providing detailed curly haired presentations, with the products involved. I have learned so much!!! I just purchase so many of the products. AG Curl Refresh and the Tangle Teezer brush plus the root clips. I know you are unable to see my curly hair through my icon image. My hair resembles Amanda's quite a bit. Cheers to you curly girls!!!! <3

Veronica C: My hair was down to my waist and I chopped it of 2 months ago a little below my shoulders so that I can start fresh. I am so happy with my curls now. ( I have curls now!!) Thank you for all your videos.

Esmeralda S: Yassss the seesters and Texture Tuesday! Thanks to your tips my hair has never looked better! Gracias from NY!

Sarah Hargrove: This has been my go to video for styling! Will you please please please make another styling tutorial using Aveda products and AG curl fresh definer? Maybe one for summertime? ❤️❤️❤️

Patty Patty: Happy Texture Tuesday my Mane Girls!!! Yay always look forward to your videos

Echter Rosenquarz: Love the autumn inspired colors in this video!!!

Laura B: Thanks for the video Mel and Amanda. I love AG products and always happy to support a company but was so disappointed that it has Sweet Almond which I am allergic to ☹️. I will continue to use my other products which my wallet appreciates .

Tango Seagull: I just tried out the plump method after your video. I love it!

arii: I love love loveeeee y’all! this felt like we were on facetime haha, amazing content as always!

Melissa: This was so informative and entertaining! I wish I saw this sooner!!

M LoveAll: Hi Melll and Amanda...thank you so much for your great videos...I was hoping if you could do a video treating children's hair...my 6 and 5 year nieces have beautiful curly hair like you guys, but sometimes their mother finds it a nightmare to prevent knots and keep their curls soft and dry free.. Thanks again Maria

Edith cieza: Nice to see you together the sisters thank you for sharing love all techniques you share take care.

Lio Murdest: My hair is sadly not curly like yours but I've watched the entire video, you both are stunning!

Paula Camillucci: I just got my root clips in the mail today! Can't wait to try them, my bangs are always an issue

Artsy Pineapple: Your guys’ volume is insane!! Hoping to get there one day. I think with your content I definitely will! Thank you!

C Land: This curl cream was no way a one 'n done for me. My hair feels glycerin heavy and in need of gel. Even though I got a cast, I got almost no hold. I'm not walking into new week with bad hair! Sorry-this one was a no-go for me, but I still love u guys!!

Felicia Bethea: I got my AG curl styler in and used it the very next day! It has quite a strong smell, but it worked exactly the way you said it did!!! A perfect cast with just a hair cream!!! Unfortunately, the high content of glycerin didn't quite mesh with the STILL high dew points and humidity here in The Glorious South . A tiny bit of watered down gel the next day glazed over, and diffused did the trick. One of the best hair products I've ever tried.

Crystal White: Ok. Sk I bought a Tangle Teaser and just wow! It was awesome! And I used it to style and my curl turned out the way I wanted them to look! I am in love!

Sophia Aloeristok: I feel Amanda, my scalp screams at me too lol, although its already started thank god I have seester scalp care tips in my back pocket

Jazmin H: i have the same brush that amanda has and its such a good brush! it defines my curls easily and the grip is nice too!

Megan Johnson: I'm so happy that Amanda showed these clips! I actually bought several packs of these same clips months ago and they've just been sitting on my vanity because I was afraid to use them wrong!

Jaded Muse: As soon as I watched this video I bought that styling cream and had it in my basket at their site and went back the next day and it was sold out (probably because of this video lol) so I went to JC Penny online and got it. Just tried it for the first time and I love the smell and totally agree it reminds me of the Aveda smell. I used to be able to buy this Aveda stick that looks like deodorant and holds fly aways soo well...but it's discontinued. The smell of this styler reminds me of that. Still waiting on my cast but I'm close..... then I'll diffuse before bed.

Monica S: Bickering Betty's today All jokes aside love you guys & you've been so helpful in my hair journey. Big thanks to you, I found that my hair was not wavy and with a little love & some education ringlets started to form

Jenn Leah: I've been loving that nutriplenish leave in! It's perfect cuz it doesn't weigh down my fine curls! I'm so sorry but I have to give you one teeny tiny correction - it's the only nutriplenish product that doesn't have coconut oil. Sorry! It's just my hair hates coconut oil & that's why I only got this product from their line. It has the pomegranate & just about every other ingredient that's in that line. Just wanted to mention it in case any other curlies struggle with coconut oil. I've also been using Aveda's botanical repair line That mask & leave in treatment are the best!

RayneMoonCloud: I love your videos! I've just started watching your channel(s) and trying to embrace my curls. Unfortunately, I have natural gray hair on my crown and I have no idea what to use to moisturize it or keep it from frizzing. I use purple shampoo to keep it really white, but beyond that, I'm having a hard time taming it. Also, what is the best cut for keeping my hair healthy looking? My hair is just past my shoulders by two or three inches.

Sophia Aloeristok: Love the fall colours and vibes

Shristi Jade: Love this the definition and volume on the two of you is

Linda Grace: Mel, my gosh! Your hair has gotten so long! You’re both gorgeous!

homescents by jessica 😍: I'm really happy that I got my verre own mames by mell perfect hair care towel ot works beautifully! It is great that you guys are sold out! Congrats

Dora Mercedes: I have naturally dark brown hair and my texture is similar to Amanda's. I recently did balayage in purple with the front pieces too because I don't split my hair in the middle but flip-flop between right and left partings and the purple stands frame my face. I know purple is a more extreme color but since Amanda does the side part, I think those framing pieces would look really nice.

Tanziha Habib: The AG curl cream is amazing! I have 2c-3a curls and its the only product I use. Plus if you live in Canada, and there a Chatters Salon in your area, you will always get 20-40% for that product. So yee girls, get it!

V Ocasio: Watching your channel is just so satisfying!!! Love the energy in every video!!! And the hair, OMG LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE HAIR!!!! brilliantly beautiful, and glamorous ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey, I'mValarie: I have curly hair and I love my balyage with the classy and pretty month piece!

jellogirl2010: Oh my gosh. I was so worried about my hair falling out because I just had surgery (like I commented on a previous video) and I've had to wear my hair up because it irritates my stitches. I forgot completely about hair shed in the fall. I'm kind of relieved now.

Kathi Murray: I got both towels and love them! I was going to gift one, but changed my mind and kept both!! Thank you!

Jasmine Marika: Love videos with seees can u please do a fall routine video for us girls in super humid climates like south Florida! Would be super appreciated!

Heather S: You sisters are so beautiful! Definitely hit the gene jackpot!

Deandra Johnson: I’m so glad u said about the increased hair fall in the season cause I’ve been noticing that the past few weeks and it caught my attention.

Nathalie Zúñiga: Thank you so much for your videos they saved my hair. I love how funny you all explain the science behind it all.

Yisset Lozano: I have to thank you guys for introducing me to AG Hair CURL FRESH definer silicone-free soft-hold styling. It is AMAZING my hair looks fire and it last for a solid 6 days. I havent found another one to match. Just Fabulous, I have stoped my search. Thank you once again.

Lynzi Collins: My favourite seesters! Happy Texture Tuesday! I'm so excited to watch, I know I'll love it ❤️❤️❤️

Vivían29: Yess I was needing a fall routine!!!

Riley Rapp: Loved this video, so helpful! I bought both the AG and bond oil and appreciate now knowing how to use them properly

Amanda in Real Life: Ok, I ordered one of all of these products!! . I’ve been wanting to try the Aveda line for awhile now and JUST got the AG Curl Fresh Definer in the mail, but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. I’m excited to give these a try.

Maryann DellaRocco: Hey Mel, I have mostly 2b and 2c hair. I have a heavy mix of grey especially up front. My hair seems to want to clump in huge sausage curls that start roughly above the ear all the way around my head. But I have some strange wave patterns where my hair will curl one direction then half way down the hair shaft it will switch back on itself like the kink in a hose. Sometimes it will even make the strand curl up as if defying gravity. How do I control that? I feel this causes a lot of frizz because the curl pattern does not seem to be consistent. Does that make sense? Thanks.

Olivia Knowles: Amanda's curls have gotten SO much more defined

Cat Skittles: Great tips! Especially for the crown of the hair, and I absolutely LOVE Aveda products! Meraviglioso!

Michelle WI girl: Seen those clips on Ebay, my hairs a tight wave in front, curly back...these gorgeous girls just convinced me to give em a try

Latasha Thompkins: I’m most definitely gonna try this product❤️

Sarah Maddox: I finally got my Aveda Nutriplenish! I love it. I took a break from Aveda and I really missed it.

Jordan Faith: Love this cream!! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️

DaisyL87: Wow, the Finish on those Curls are very Vibrant, Mell and Amanda hair Looks so Healthy and Beautiful, thanks for those Tips, You can not go wrong by Using Great curly Hair Products Amazing, Viva La Curls,

Malia Reynolds: Amanda's haircut that you did is so freaking cute!

Nikki D: Love the fall brown shades

Nicole Reynolds: Yay can’t wait to grab the new AG product!!

Даниела Манджарова: that vegan keratine oil! Im getting one of these! Beautiful hairs and great care routines ❤

Alice Shekina: love you girl! just for the sake of more content, maybe you can bring in your friends with curlier textures so we can see how you treat different types of curls hands on!

Anna Elisabeth: THIS HAIR CREAM IS SO BOMB. I just used it and all I used was a leave un under it and oh my god. My hair is soft, shiny, and bouncy and it has hold like I can’t even believe this. I’m crying.

Courtney Beaulieu: Ladies, you were NOT PLAYING when you said this product was a game changer!! This is a one and done and I CANNOT BELIEVE I got the results that I did using just this cream. Amazing, absolutely amazing. ❤️
