How To Bloom Dyes! Make Color Powder Diy!!!

Learn how to bloom dyes! Learn how to make color powder!!! This short video explains how I make all of my color powders. RECIPE: 30 milliliters water, 1/2 teaspoon dye, & 1/2 cup base (use corn starch or baking soda). I use corn starch so the final color powder has a finer texture. Mix everything together. Let it dry completely. Blend the dry powder to get the finest consistency possible. Package it.

All colors see here can be made with PINK, YELLOW, BLUE, (Nurture Soap) & "HOT PINK" (Fizz Fairy). All colors are linked below. *** For black, I use activated charcoal.

The "Plum" color powder is Fizz Fairy's "hot pink" dye bloomed on corn starch. I feel like this is misleading as the color is more purple than pink. But, in any case, the color is gorgeous & it is an absolute MUST when making other colors like purple, berry, magenta, fuchsia, & blush. I will do another color tutorial demonstrating how dull these colors were before VS how brilliant these colors are now using Fizz Fairy's "hot pink". Regardless of the misleading name, this color is A MUST HAVE color!!!
