Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. Today'S video is going to be another hair tutorial on this look right here. This is totally different than the hair tutorial that I did a couple of weeks ago. It was on my boho beachy waves. You haven't seen that one. I will link it right up here, so you definitely should go check it out. So normally I like my hair to look really effortless and textured. You know, but every once in a while. I really need my hair to look a little bit more polished and just a little bit more, I don't know put together. This is just a very feminine nice soft curl, very girly. I do have extensions in for this. Look if you guys want me to talk more about hair extensions, I can definitely do that. Let me know in the comments down below and I will make a video if people are interested in it. If you guys are new to my channel. Welcome hey! What'S that my name is Julia, don't forget to subscribe to my channel by clicking this button right here. It just means you're going to get notifications on when I upload new videos - and I upload two or three times a week. You can also follow me on Instagram, snapchat, Twitter, and I will leave those usernames right up here to definitely come follow along with me there. I'M always posting updates about what I'm doing on my channel and just a little fun behind the scenes stuff. Alright, you guys so without further ado, let's just get straight into the tutorial alright, so I'm just going to start by sectioning my hair off flip it up. If you watch my beach waves tutorial, which I will link somewhere up here, you haven't seen that I like to use two different size irons on my hair, one, because my extensions um hold curl a lot better than my real hair. And then my real hair is really fine and thin, and really straight so it doesn't hold a curl as well. So I like to use a smaller iron on my real hair up top, so I'm going to start with the first iron is a little bit bigger. It'S a 1 inch and this is by Babyliss Pro. So what I really want today is a softer curl. I don't want it to be very tight. I want it to be really soft and glamorous, so I'm going to focus on not holding the curl from very long and you can always go back and curl it again if it's not curly enough, but I just want to make sure it's not coming out like Shirley temple's, so I'm just gon na take like a bigger section of hair, like I basically split this in half because they don't to be quite as small again she's gon na slide it in at the root and then I'm just twisting and pulling it through, and Then I'll just get the end if it doesn't catch it and I'm just literally, you know letting it touch the heat and then I'm releasing once you have the curl I kind of like to brush it out, because the longer it cools it'll get a tighter curl. So I just wanted to be really soft, so I'm just going to brush it out right after so it can't you know cool to long. I want it to be really gentle and you can see it kind of gives us this nice soft curly way. It'S gon na look really pretty when it's all done. You didn't mind that all of these curls are going away from my face, so I'm going to curl them all in one direction. Just go this going to give us more of like a glamorous kind of wave. It'S all like smooth and not going as much for like a textured look this time, which my Beach choice tutorial is a little bit more textured and messy. But this I want to be a softer a little bit cleaner and you always want to start at the root and I'm just going to go around it one more time, perfect brush outright, my fingers through it. Alright, then, take the next layer down you, okay, so now that I'm getting towards the top, where my real hair is, I just want a little bit of volume in my roots, so I'm going to spray some dry shampoo, you you so the ends over here are A little beachy for me like I want them to be just a little bit more round at the bottom like this side, so I'm just gon na take them and rewrap then make a mohawk early. Okay! So now that I have reached kind of the top layer of my hair, where, for my real hair, really kind of takes over now, most of extensions are curled, I'm going to switch to my smaller iron, but before I do that, I'm going to spray my real Hair with a little bit of hairspray and I brush through it right and I'm doing the same thing on these top layers, and it's definitely going to give me a tighter curl at first. But my hair just does not hold a curls. You have to curl it with a smaller iron or it won't hold so um they'll look a little bit tighter at first I'm gon na brush them out and they'll get a little bit looser and kind of even out. But if you don't have superfine earth in here, I'm just go ahead and use a one-inch. You know on the top in the bottom and you can just hold it. You know for different times. You know you kind of want it probably like a little bit looser at the bottom, a little tighter on top for some more volume and these ones. I am going to let cool until the end when I want to brush them out because they need holding time. So if your hair is, you know a little bit finer texture, let your curls kind of cool and that way they'll hold much longer give that layer, a nice mist. Normally I do a straight part, but for this look I just wanted it a little bit more classic. I guess you could say classic glamour and I feel, like side part is just like kind of more of that old Hollywood. Look, I mean that's not what I'm going for, but you know what I mean like just a little more fancy. You we're going to brush that out all right perfect, so I'm going to give a really light spray, basically after spraying that and just letting it cool for a second now, I'm going to brush through the whole thing. This is really going to soften those curls. It just softens that and then I'm just going to go in and tease the top kind of at the roots. All right you guys, so I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. I like this curls they're a little bit more soft. They feel a little bit more fancy. So they're great for events and like things like weddings or just more formal parties and things like that um and they also look pretty just like on an everyday basis. If you um, you know just want your hair to look a little bit nicer and right now, there's still a little tight, but they do sort of fall and then just really loosen and they soften up, and I just love it. I think there's a really pretty curl. Please give this video a thumbs up. If you enjoyed it - and I will see you guys next time bye, you

Crystal Stackhouse: I love your videos because my hair is SO THIN, probably just as thin or thinner than yours. I feel like all the beauty gurus and you tubers out there are blessed with super thick hair or they just lie about having extensions. There needs to be more videos for this kinda hair. Thank you

Jsmn: This was really helpful!! Thank you so much. ❤️

Nikki F: Is it really for fine and thin hair when you use extensions? Some of us can't afford hair extensions

Jerri Grommet Murphy: Just found your channel. Finally someone who understands the frustrations of having thin hair. What size curling iron do you use on your real hair? Thank you for your great video. I'm going to go check out more you have made.

Christina Gaffney: love this hairstyle!

Stephanie Cuaz: Yes, what if you don't have extensions or won't use them and you just have long blonde fine hair?

Jude Burton: I enjoy her tutorials!

Aquaria Austin: That's how my fine hair looks, naturally. I can hear the "Lucky!" but it's actually horrible, because my hair can tangle from the slightest movement. If it's super-humid out, I can get ringlets. The worst.

Haley Beth: When I brush out my curls, my hair gets very staticky. I can't seem to get away from it. Do you use any special products before you blow dry or before you curl to help with the static? Thanks so much!

Tayler Renee: Heat protectant is key before hot tools are used!

Allison Hernandez: Hi I love the curls! What iron did you use on your real hair?

Nazym Leon: Amazing! Thank u!!!

Chloe Charters: i just found ur channel today! and i would really like u to do a down half put halfdown bun hair tutorial!!!!

Am-Bess: You look gorgeous… no fabulous… or both...lol… you’re truly an artist. Big thumbs up. I am a video creator too and would really appreciate your opinion on my work.

Tina: What setting do you have your smaller curling iron on? I have that same curling iron and I always have trouble with it curling my hair and actually staying before it becomes flat.

Erin Steffenhagen: I have super thin hair as well And would like to see how you put in your extensions

Jessica Peterson: I just found your channel and would love to know more about the hair extensions!

Clarissa Mullins: WHAT! I can even section off parts of my hair, because it's so thin.. The hair dressers couldn't layer it, because it was too thin.. I can wear certain hairstyles, BECAUSE IYS TO THINN

Mel Gagnon: I would love a video on hair extension . please!!

Alondra Ramirez: Everytime I try to curl my hair, my straight hair always gets mixed up with my curls!! How do you do it?

Terka: Affordable extensions for $40 are on amazon. Real human hair and not bad quality. Just do your research and you can find them! You can even half the bunch for 2 uses if you're just filling in your thin gaps!

Carly LaPlante: What kind of hairspray do you use? My curls always end up looking crunchy or greasy after I hairspray them

apple frost: Wait so if i want my hair to hold a curl i have to use a small curling iron cause my hair is super super fine it wont hold a curl for anything

Kaitlyn: I have super fine hair and use Bellamis but the hair is soooo thick compared to mine and it looks awful. What extensions do you use?

Anna Rozana: Thanks !

Jessica Hellar: Would love to see a video about extensions. I want them so bad but I don't want them sewn in

x!tlaly: If only my hair was like that

Mikayla Hembree: where did you get your shirt? i love it!

Maisha Anjum: even if i brush a tight curl twice or not my curls eventually straightens out!! it does not stay put even for an hour! what do i do! :(

Alison Prejean: Non-beauty question, but what camera do you use to film? I've been wanting to start YouTube but I have no idea where to even start! (Btw I went to elementary school with your husband and I followed you from his insta! I love your videos! Your style is so beautiful!)

Steph Gordon: A what kind of extensions do you have....do you do it yourself (clip one??) or have them done?
