Gorgeous Gorgeous Girls keep their hair hydrated

Gorgeous Gorgeous Girls know the importance of a good hair mask!

I’m all about keeping it simple and easy, so here is my go-to super duper hydrating coconut oil hair mask:

Start off with coconut oil and melt it over boiling hot water (You can also melt it in the oven, but DO NOT put it in the microwave as it kills some of the nutrients found in the oil).

Once the oil is melted, apply it from root to tip. This is a great time to give yourself a scalp massage. Really make sure to later every part of your scalp and every section of hair with oil.

Pull your hair up and cover with a towel/plastic bag to prevent any oil dripping on your shoulders.

Keep mask on for at least two hours!

Knowing how to properly wash out an oil hair mask is just as important as knowing how to apply the mask.

Have you washed a hair mask out of your hair only to realize your hair still feels oily after? Doesn’t that just ruin your hair plan for the next few days? NOT ANYMORE!

Lucky for you, there is only one key thing to remember: water and oil don’t mix.

This is why you need to apply a (very) generous amount of shampoo to your hair BEFORE you get in the shower.

That’s right, grab you shampoo, massage it into your hair, then get into to the shower and rinse.

Shampoo one more time, then condition as you usually would and you’re all done!

I leave it on 10 mins, only wash my scalp with lukewarm water, apply a light condition to the lower half of my hair and rinse...
