Why hello there we will be playing around with and testing out this set of heatless curls that I ordered off of Amazon. My hair is clean. These are the products that I use to wash my hair with, and I am going in with the Moroccan sea. Salt spray, the sea salt is going to help with my hair air dry and add some extra texture to my hair. Now I'm going in with the curl talk curl activating mousse. It has a hold level of two grabbing, just a smidgen, and I'm going to just distribute this through my hair by gently combing it through I'm going to air dry, my hair a bit and my hair is about 80 percent dry. I will be wrapping my hair around this tube. It actually reminds me a lot of a French braid, but I'm keeping the front sections in the front and the back section in the back doing it. This way creates forward bending curls and backward bending curls, which give a really natural, beautiful, beachy wave. This has been by far my favorite way to do these particular version of heatless curls. This is what it's looking like right after after I take the tube out of my hair, it's absolutely stunning and completely and utterly gorgeous. However, I find that these do not last on me. Jatfur: I wonder if finishing with some hair spray would help the curls last? When I used to curl my hair with an iron, I would use so much hair spray but my curls would last for days! I love your channel, by the way. I've learned so much from you about how to care for my waves.
krisdiane: So, after the first day, it's a way to straighten your hair without heat. Very pretty result on day one!
Kayo Ell: I've been thinking about this since you posted the long version. Did you try this with gel, and without the sea spray mist? If the sea salt stuff is truly NaCl, it will will interfere with formation of hydrogen bonds, correct? You have a much stronger chemistry background that I do... I took gen chem and organic, but both were close to 25 years ago. I have SO, SO much hair, so I totally understand wanting it to be mostly dry before you wrap it, but heat-less curls wouldn't hold for me if my hair were as dry as yours appears to be when you wrapped it. I haven't done rollers for a long time, but when I did, I would mist it with some water to get it to the "right" dampness (it never all gets there at the same time, so different areas need different amounts of water added back in.

Robin Ruane: I'm thinking start with wetter hair. It'll take longer to dry but when it does It'll be in the right shape. More/ stronger styling products too. Thinking in terms of what you do for your natural waves & curls to last.
Chrystal Thornton: My hair is just past my shoulders and wavy. I use AJ Recoil and when hair is about 80% dry put in medium size magnetic rollers for a couple of hours. Been a week and still have plenty of curl.
