Winter Moisturizing Routine For Natural Hair (Type 4)!!

Hello, Welcome!

Today we are focusing on moisture and hydration. Because this is important in every hair care especially for our Natural hair.

I personally try to not leave my hair dried out for long periods . I do this by moisturizing my hair in between Washdays. Because it is Type 4 and low Porosity I have to keep on top of my moisture routine.

Question for you: Have you tried using Aloe Vera in your hair?, How was the Experience for you like?. Leave a comment below. I am truly curious about this and would like to know .

Hello, what's up welcome, my name is Evangeline and today we're going to be moisturizing and hydrating our hair, currently working with my old and dehydrated twist to refresh them, I will be using aloe vera, as my main moisturizer apply a generous amount of the gel to your Hair strands, although I'm using my fingers here for the application, a better and easier application means is to use an applicator bottle. You can likely find one at your closest supermarket or order it off Amazon, while applying the gel. You want to lightly detangle, with your finger personally, I find detangling with your finger, less damaging but slower when compared to using a wooden brush or, let's say a Tango teaser if your finger detangling with your hand or with a brush and come across in knots. Please remember to be gentle. Our strands require a lot more restraint from us when tempted to pull and tug. So while we work the product into our hair, let's get some more information about why aloe vera is so beneficial to the growth and health of our hair. Aloe vera gel is extracted from the aloe vera plant. It has often a clear gel, like consistency, but will change the light pink with long exposure to high temperatures, as you will notice with mine. A big benefit of this gel and the very reason why it is under the spotlight in this video is it's moisturizing property. I find it serves as a great replacement for water. You know the OG moisturizer of all time, also due to its deep cleaning property, it leaves my hair feeling smooth, healthier and shinier. It also helps to promote growth and healthy scalp. This is so important because the healthy scalp grows healthy hair. In this next step, I would like to emphasize on sealants to seal all this goodness and nourishment in you want to use a leave-in conditioner here, I'm using the can to leave in conditioning repair cream. I have chosen this not only because it is a good sealant, but also because of its added hydrating property. You can also substitute the leave-in for a butter oils. Although oils lack hydrating property, it serves as a very good sealant. This, of course, helps to lock in all that moisture and keeps your hair hydrated for days to ensure all this time and effort invested into your flow isn't thrown out the window, ensure to put your hair into twists or braids the little pockets created by this choice. Of protective styling helps with moisture retention and leaves your hair feeling and looking bouncy and healthy, so add a little more product at the ends of your hair. Don'T be shy with your ends. Remember these are your elderlies and they need that extra protection to really split ends and breakage wrapping the ends around, as I do here, lessons damage and promotes your length retention. Okay, finally done with my hair, and she is looking good and I'm feeling good. So I'm excited um, so we're getting close to the ending of this video and I just had a question for you guys: would you guys try this or use an aloe vera in your hair, or have you tried it already? What was your experience? How was it like? Was it as um good, as I am portraying it to be here or did you have like negative experience with it? Just let me know in the comments below and if you've not uh done so already, and you enjoyed the video. Please don't forget to comment like share and subscribe and until next time have a wonderful day,
