How I Wrap My Relaxed Hair ♡

Why that's fine a spy or as a guide, yet this time last time? What is up you guys welcome back to another video, I promise I am back with another relaxed hair video. I see that you guys love my relaxing videos like that. One video that I posted my wash day routine, if you haven't seen it, I'm gon na, go ahead and put a link up right now. If you have not seen it, you got that video reached 10,000 views and I'm like y'all have really enjoyed that video. So I'm gon na go ahead and keep giving you guys more relaxed hair videos in all of your requests. Of course, let's go ahead and get into another highly requested video, which is how to wrap relaxed hair. Now I did get this request in my wash day. Routine on how to preserve your blowouts and preserve your flattering hair without further ado, if you are interested, then let's go ahead and get into the video. So usually, I would wrap my hair in the bathroom right before I get in the shower or before I'm about to lay down whatever the case may be, but for the sake of this video I am going to do it right here. In my normal, you know YouTube setup, because I have my ring white and the video just looks more crisp. This way honey go ahead and tell you guys the items that you will need to wrap your hair. First, you will need a comb. I just have this black comb on one end: it has close together little teeth. Other in the teeth are a little further apart, nothing special and then you will need a paddle brush, so you will need some oil. So this is the oil that I am currently loving right now I got this from Sephora for this small size, it was $ 15 on this. Oil can be pretty expensive, as you can see. Just for this size is $ 15 and for like a bigger size, it's like 35 will I buy the bigger size eventually. Yes, because I really really love this oil. It does not weigh my hair down. It also does its job. On my scalp, I show you my scalp is oil, but again it's not weight down. So I really don't mind spending that much on an oil because it does its job like you got ta give credit where it's due next, you will need a bonnet. I prefer bonnets on my hair, rather than a scarf or like when you put on a scarf. It just makes your hair flat and it doesn't allow your hair to keep its volume. So I know whenever I use a scarf. So whenever I wrap my hair and then I put a scarf on at night, I noticed when I unwrap my hair in the morning, it's flat and the reason. Why is because you're wrapping it and then you're tying like a tight scarf around your hair, which it's gon na now make it straight like bone straight? So I noticed when I just use a bunny, and I do a nice wrap. It'S not going to be flat in the morning I wake up and I still have my value. Last but not least, I also like to use a hairnet, so that's everything that you need to wrap your hair and let's go ahead and get started. The first thing that I like to do is untuck my hair on the sides because, as you guys see, I have my hair tucked on the side. So I'm just gon na go ahead and untuck. My hair, like that and now my hair is out and we're just gon na you know my hair is nice, untucked and combed, and I'm going to go from the top of my part and I'm going to come down from the side like this. This is when my wrap is going to start, so I wrap my hair this way. I don't know what to call it, but I want my hair this way, so this is the way that my wrap is going to go and I'm just going to take my comb and start pushing everything over like that and just comb it. So now you already have the base of your wrap started. Taking my oil, and you could have done this before you um did the little part and started wrapping it. I'M going to take my oil and put a nice amount in my hand, and I'm going to wet my hands together like this now. This is very important. Make sure you have oil on the balls of your hands. I want you to go in your hair from the back and literally rub your scalp. So that's why you want to have audience on it. Balls you're going to go in and just rub your scallop like that and then the oil on your actual hands. You go ahead and put that on the rest of the hair and you can do it on the end as well like that, oh guys, I love this oil, it's like so freaking amazing and it smells so good. It smells so good. Sorry, don't mind my edges. It'S about time for me to go back to the Dominican, so, as you can see, my edges are starting to get a little poufy, but it's okay! Now we're gon na go in with the paddle brush and we're going to start wrapping now. If this is your first time wrapping your hair, this may be a little hard. This may be a little annoying because you have to train your hair. You have to train your hair too, which way it's gon na go. Some people wrap the hair. This way I wrap my hair this way, so you just have to take your time, don't get frustrated and that's it I mean that's all you can do is just keep doing it keep practicing and, as you can see, I have a nice neat part and we're Just gon na go ahead and keep wrapping around, and I want to all you, my hair before I wrap it, because when I unwrap my hair, I don't put any oils on it, because I feel like at night my hair can go ahead and suck up all The oils versus, if I put the oils in my hair when I wake up and I go out in the Sun, the oils is literally just going to bake my hair, like legit, because it's sitting on the top of my hair versus already being infused when I Put it in at night and go to sleep, it's nice and neat. You should still see my part. I don't know if you can see it, but you should still see my part. So now we're gon na go ahead and take our neck and we're once you put our net on like this, and the point of this net is to take everything and just turn it around like this, and that gets all of the hair together and we're just Gon na make sure that all of the hair smush you like in the back of like your back nape area, it's wrapped as well cuz, that's important. That needs to be wrapped too doll looks so crazy. You'Re gon na go ahead and just place your bonnet on, like that, and even with the bonnet on you can again go run in a circle you're going around in the direction that your wrap is going. It wouldn't make no sense for me to go this way and literally unwrap my hair. That makes no sense. That is all she wrote. That'S all I do. This is why you guys see me walking around with my brownie all the time, because my hair be red. I also want to share with you guys how I completely hit my hair ready for the shower. I would not only go in the shower with my bonnet in my met, because it's not enough protection not only from the water but from the vapor me too. Of course, have a shower cap, it doesn't have to be like one of these official shower caps. I actually just got this in California. I think I like CBS or Walmart, or something you can just have like the regular. I think it's like the clear um shower caps. That'S what I have before I had this, so you just want to go ahead and place this on over the bonnet like this also have this little like headband. Now you guys see me use this headband in my life update when I was applying a mask. This is to keep your hair push back when you're putting on the mask, but I also put this around the rim of my shower cap, because, even if I were to wash the back of my neck, water is like slick it's gon na get up under the Shower cap, especially like when I'm washing and then I accidentally push it up some, so I like to put this on as well, so we're gon na go ahead and put this on the edges of my shower cap like so, don't want it to be like this. You literally want it to cover so, which means you may have to move the shower cap up some like this. You may have to move the shower cap up like on the top of your forehead, because you want it to cover everything, and this may feel super uncomfortable because, like I have my ear stuck, but you guys when I get in the shower, I wash like listen, Honey, we're up here we're over here we're getting everything, especially when I come home from clinicals, because I just feel so nasty make sure you put this on and every time like no lie, you guys every time I get out the shower, this is wet and it's Like oh, my gosh, like all that water would have been on my hair, had I not put this on and I finally learned the trick, I finally learned how to properly wrap my hair and how to properly put it up for at the shower. So this is what it looks like you guys, it's kind of cute too, like I look super crazy, but I don't need to care. I need to share with you guys all of my tips and tricks for relaxed hair, how to keep it healthy. How to prolong your blowouts like if I know it again, I'm gon na tell you guys. So this is what I do to wrap my hair and preserve a mind blow out. This is specifically what I do for the shower and then, of course, when I get out the shower, I just take this off and then I go to bed with my bonnet and I'm good to go that is gon na go ahead and conclude the video.
