Hey guys welcome to my channel in today's video. I will be sharing with you, my current hair routine and this routine is great for a little manipulation and a length of retention. Alright, so I've been doing this routine for the past couple of weeks, and this is probably the easiest routine. I'Ve ever done. Okay, so I'm gon na start by watching my hair and if you guys have been following along with my ebook. You know that, towards the end of the month, I always use a detoxifying or clarifying shampoo, so get any build-up that I may have out of my hair. So I'm gon na really really cleanse my hair and make sure I do a thorough job. I usually will just shampoo the top of my hair or the roots of my hair and then let it just Brent's down to the rest of my hair. I usually shampoo my hair twice a month. I will use a moisturizing shampoo and week two and in week four I will use a clarifying shampoo erase some of an answer. Conditioner I like to use this conditioner definition. Brow elevation is really good because it has a lot of slip and also is specifically a curl conditioner. So I think it enhances my curls as well. So I just glided this all over my hair and I did tank on my hair with the conditioner, and I also will leave its tiny bit of conditioner in my hair as well for the style portion. Okay, so I'm gon na be tangling my hair in sections. As you guys know, I always detangle my hair in sections, and you really want to make sure that you already tangling your hair properly before you do the style, because you're not gon na be able to detangle your hair for at least a week so make sure You'Re doing a thorough job at detangling, your hair, okay, so I like to go in with the comb and make sure my part is straight, and this is important because, whichever way you put, your part is the way that your hair will lay after you are done With the style alright, so this next step is key, because if you don't do this, then you might have a little bit of frizz. So I like to use a leave-in - and I like this one by Jane Carter solution. It'S really really lightweight. It doesn't leave any type of residue or anything. It'S like perfect for this style and I'll put a small amount in each section of my hair, and then I will begin the flat twist process. So I like flat, twisting my hair. It gives me bigger curls and I also find flat twisting a lot easier than French braiding. So I do this whole entire process, while still in the shower with my hair soaking wet, because if I was to do it outside of the shower, it will make my flat twist my it's the leak and I do wear the flat twist for at least three Days before I take them down and if you guys don't know how to flat twist, I have a more in-depth tutorial that I will link down below in the description box. But it's really really simple. I have to do is take the first two pieces in the front of your hair and you're gon na be pulling from behind to a flat twist. Your hair, alright and I like to braid my hair when I get to the bottom, so I'll, take a piece of hair from behind and make it into three pieces instead of two, and it continues to braid it to the bottom. And I do this because my hair would easily unravel if I was to continue to flat twist at the bottom. So I always braid it to the bottom. And after I do that I will do the same thing to the other side of my hair. And I will have two braids and then I will just kind of ring out my braids, so it won't have like excess water, a product because it takes a really long time for my hair to dry when I product in it - and I don't need that because I was going straight to sleep after that and you don't want to go to sleep with the wet hair, because that's how you catch a cold, all right, so I'll just put a silk scarf on. I lay my edges down and I would probably keep this style of my hair for at least three days before I take you down all right. So this is days later and I only take my hair down wants to start getting like really frizzy all right. So I'm gon na take a lightweight therm or you don't want anything too heavy, and I will just apply that to my braids before I take them down and that will help with minimizing frizz all right. So after I take down the twists, I will take a pic and I will pick out my hair, I'm just gon na pick it out to the desired look. You don't want to pick it out too much, but you don't want to pick it out still. So I can look cute, but you don't want to pick it out too much because it is gon na just naturally get bigger on it on throughout the course of the next couple of days. So this style will last me a few days. I really don't have to do much to it. It will stay looking like that and I'll just put my hair in a bun at night and I'll, take it down and put some oil on my hands, and it will still look really good but yeah. That was about it.
