"Knot For The Holidays" Holiday Hairstyle On Stretched Natural Hair

If you know how to tie your shoe then you definitely know how to do this style :)

Just another quick and EASY style that can be achieved regardless of hair texture.

Hey guys remember that style that I had last week the big fluffy curls. Well, I found a way to stretch this style to death. I used three different hair stretching methods. I did my regular bunning method, which came second, but before that I actually did a ribbon. Banding method, it's like using bands, but you use those really thick grosgrain ribbons and then to top that off the last style that I did was these huge pin curls just so my ends wouldn't be completely straight, but it didn't matter because for this style your ends Are tucked away anyways, but this is definitely going to replace blow-drying. For me, the only difference is the roots are really really thick, but it's okay. You can't see them. So let me show you how I did this style. You can do the front of your hair. Any way you want, but today I'll still like doing a pompadour, so I just took a section of hair from the front and just pushed it up and Bobby pinned it into place. Sorry, I got distracted. I was still in shock over how my hair came out. Okay, but this is what the top looks like so once you have your bobby pins and your mouth and your mirror in place. You'Re going to start at the temples of your head and grab two equal sections of hair next you're, just going to make a simple, regular tie and for explanations sake, I'm going to call the tail ends that are left over side, a and B so you're going To take hair from the left side of your head, the loose hair and incorporate it in to tail a and then you're going to do the same on the right side of your head and incorporate that into tail B. And now that you have your two new sections, you can go ahead and make your third knife now that I've done a couple of knots is probably easier to see. So again, all I'm doing is taking loose hair from the left side of my head and incorporating it into tail a and then the same with tail B and I'm not crossing anything over. I just want it holds both tails with one hand, to make it a little easier for me to manage and do a nut that happens. Okay, for the end of my hair, all I did was take and tuck it under and pin it, and this is how it came out. You'Re going to have a style that looks like you, it's really intricate, but it's really not. It took me eight minutes. As usual, thank you for watching, have a happy holiday and I'll see you next week, bye

AshCarterChronicles: totally love it

AccordingtoChloeC: Thank you!

Selene C. Jordan: Hi!  How did you get your hair that straight in the first place?!  Stunning!  What are the 'banding', 'bunning' and 'ribbon' methods all about?

nicthommi: You realize one reason her stretching method might seem "more perfect" than yours is that she likely has straighter hair than you. People with loose curls or waves can straighten their hair quite easily with the same methods you use, or ones that are even simpler. If her hair looks more or less blowdried just from wrapping it in a ribbon and putting it in buns, you might want to consider whether or not you have the same kind of hair.

Carolyn Best: Love it!  In the vid after you did the pompadour and bobby pinned it, you had bobby pins in your mouth. What did you do with those bobby pins that were left? I didn't see you use them.
