I keep on falling in love. Heat is the number one reason why people face damage and breakage amongst a lot of other things as well: hey guys and welcome back to my channel now, of course, thank you to all of my new subscribers and to all of you who have been with me From day one now, we've been talking a lot about the curls for the girls, so today is just going to be a quick video in regards to when your curls get a little stale when your curls are hanging a little low and they have lost their bounce. This video is going to be a quick tutorial, showing you how to create less, how to do. Pin curls i'm going to show you two different ways to revive your stale curls back into popping curls, and i'm also going to show you a little bit of hairstyles that you can do with your curls as your curls get older and as time passes. So you want to know how to create those pin curls that they do at the salon. Right in your house then keep on watching. These are about two day old curls. You can see. It still has a little bit of curl still has some body to it, but definitely the curls have dropped and i just want to just give it a little bit of life again. Okay, so you guys already know. I don't like a lot of heat on my hair because a lot of heat with permed hair equals damaged hair and we do not want our hair to be damaged. So very, very quick, easy tutorial on how to do. Pin curls using your hands clips and you can use pins now you can use a simple bobby pin like this one or you can use a salon clip like this one. Now the only thing is. If you are going to use these, i do not recommend you. Sleep with these overnight, because when you pull them out, it is going to leave your curls with lines and kinks and they're not going to be seamless so you're just going to section it, and you can see i'm using my fingers. You guys already know. I do not like the comb, because the comb equals breakage a lot of the time. So i like to do finger curling through like this. I'M taking a portion - and this is going to be the first side and the first way that i'm going to show you how to do a pin curl. Now you are basically going to try to get as close to the end as possible and work two fingers up like this, and one finger is going to be on your hair, so you are going to pull it through like this. Now you have both fingers doing a roll against each other and you are just going to keep doing that roll all the way up your hair shaft. Okay, so you want to get it as tight as possible, all the way to your hair shaft and do a slight turn like so to make sure that your hair, when you do take out your curls, that they are in the correct direction. And that is your first pin curl doing it this way. Okay, guys! So you see it's a cute little curl cute little row and there you have it. So i'm just going to continue doing the same thing. I'M just combing my fingers through my hair, like so trying to get all the way to the end as close as possible before i start curling with that technique, the finger here and the two fingers here. So i am rolling and rolling. Remember you are just alternating. Both of those two fingers on top of each other like so and bang, you do your little turn to make sure that your hair is positioned correctly. Okay, so i'm just grabbing pins here and i am going ahead and i am pinning in that curl. Okay, now um you're gon na have straight away. Flyaways! Don'T worry about that because, honestly, with permed, hair, you're gon na have that because your hair is super straight in some sections, okay guys! So here you have it the first two, so i'm just gon na keep going here quickly. Now on this side, though, i'm going to show you a different technique. So if you feel like the whole, rolling of your fingers is just a bit much for you. This is also a technique that i use when i want to kind of maintain the length of the curl, if that makes sense, so these curls on this side, when i take this out the following morning, they're going to be more fuller, they're going to give me More volume, whereas this technique that i'm about to show you here, you're going to have curls but they're going to be a little bit more wavy for lack of better words and it's going to have more of a flat, more condensed. Look instead of a volumized look. Okay, so on this side, if you thought this was a little too hard, the whole rolling of the fingers you like i ain't doing all of that, then you could definitely go ahead and do this technique. Now this technique is pretty much bringing the portion of your hair and once again you're getting all the way to the end. Because one thing you don't want to do and i'm about to start this up, but one thing you don't want to do is have the ends of your hair sticking out. Looking crazy. Okay, you want to make sure that your hair has these ends tucked. So your curls flow and look nice when you pull them out. Okay, so this technique is right here: you're, going all the way down to the end of your hair. You see all the way down to the end of your hair and you are going to pretty much start a roll okay, so you are using the curl. That is still left there and you are rolling your hair kind of like a um, a donut, i guess, or a pastry type of a thing. I don't know whatever you do when you rolling it. Like this okay row row row, your boat gently down the stream merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream, and there you have that curl. Now the thing about these curls that i want to recommend to you is if you are going to do the pin curl in this way, i recommend that you are using this type of bobby pin. Now, i'm going to show you the difference in just a second here, so just like that, pin it and bam is done, and let me tell y'all something when you do these. This actually looks like a style. You know like from the 1960s 1970s. It looks like a style - and i actually like doing my hair like this, when i'm trying to keep the length as i've stated before, but also when i have a really important engagement like a wedding or something like that to go to after. But i still have stuff to do outside. I like to do this, because this with your whole head covered in these, it actually doesn't look that bad, whereas, like this, if you're going outside like this now, you know you're wrong for that. Okay, so we are going to continue and i'm just going to show you the difference of the clips here, and i hope you can see the difference so this one right here has bridges on it. You see it's grumpy on top and flat on the bottom, when you are doing this type of a pin curl, you do not want that type of a pin. You want this type of a pin which is completely flat on the top and completely flat on the bottom. Why is that? Because you don't want pink and it's laying flat on your head? Okay, so i'm going to keep going on this side just to show you guys here. Okay, so same thing goes for this side. We are doing the same thing, just a different technique. Remember we are keeping those ends that are curled. We are helping ourselves by using the curled ends to get that hair going and look to it. So it is not just placed all over your head because if it's placed all over your head, that is how your curls will come out in the morning and trust me. You don't want that. You want the ring curling curling on a railroad, curling curling on a railroad. I said: curling curling curling on a railroad. I said: curling curling curling, on a railroad on this side, and here is the front on this side. Three, six, three: four! You guys, okay, so that is what my hair looks like and i do recommend before you go to bed. You tie your hair either using a mesh, something that is breathable guys or, of course, a satin scarf. Okay, so i'm a little crazy going to bed. But your curls gon na be popping in the morning you're not squashing. Your curls now get it around like that, like this tuck, your curls in they're, tucked away they're good to go, and it is time for bed good morning. It is the day after and i am removing my sleep cap. You can see a quick 360 here showing you that the curls have been flattened due to sleep and you will see how they come alive. All right people, let's look alive, let's look alive, so i am pulling each curl down. Removing each bobby pin just to extend the length on that side and, as you can see, they have more of a wave pattern on this side and on the other side it has a more fuller, volumized look now, of course, you can separate each individual curl to Give it more body styling your hair as you go and as your curls get old okay, so this is just going to be a quick tutorial here. Just taking you through it on what i do, you lay those edges, i'm back! Yes, i am. I just dropped. My little clip - and i am going to accessorize keeping that middle part and putting two large clips on each side. This is typically the first to the second day where your curls are still popping your curls still nice. They start getting a little old you're on day. Three day, four hair: we are going to do the half up half down. Look that look is amazing on all face sizes, whether you have a round face or a long face. We are going into day four and day five of the curls you're going to grab a headband. I know y'all are wondering how is that thing gon na fit over her big old head? Yes, it stretches. Okay, i'm just adjusting it pulling it over and, as you can see, i'm pulling it slowly because i do not want to lose a strand of my hair. Y'All hear me a strand. I got those edges for a reason, because you have to take care of your hair, no matter what you are doing, so just a quick pull back. That is the look now, as your curls begin to drop. You are going to want to pull. It part it to whatever side you want, give it a little umph, a little cute little clip on the side, so your curls are starting to drop. This is typically day six day. Seven and your curls are still looking cute. You still want to have your hair out and you just make that part: oh, give them a spin honey. Yes, yes, yes! So now we are on day eight and day nine. We are done. We do not want any more curls for the girls, so we have combed out finger combed out. That is all of our curls and don't forget guys to like comment subscribe and share.
