Stay REAL Beautiful!

Hi you guys, I'm gon na show you a way to curl your hair without any heat, styling tools. This is one of the most amazing tricks that I have found. It'S super easy and it's really fun to do and the next day, when you take it out, it's a beautiful nice natural curl. It doesn't look very cigs, Aggie and kind of like knotted or anything. It'S really pretty. It'S a very nice like ringlets of a curl. So I was really excited when I learned it and I want to show you guys and share with you. If you like Lewis curls, then you just take bigger sections. If you like more of a tight curl than you would just do smaller sections and more of it, so it's a preference upon you if you want a tighter curl or a looser curl. So it's really nice cuz. You have options, but it is just amazing and it's a beautiful curl and you're gon na get so excited. When you see so many you don't know, my hair is naturally straight. So for me it is hard for me to get volume and curl the glass. So I really love this trick because it really lasts the curls. They stay until you wash your hair again to kind of just get looser and looser. So it's really good for that. If you have straight hair, it doesn't curl you're, probably gon na love this trick. So let's get started, this is L'Oreal, it is out of bed texturizer and it's basically like a creamy consistent see of a product that I'm going to put kind of like throughout my hair. So when I do twist my hair, it's just going to allow it to have a little bit of a holes, so it can stay better and it doesn't get dry or like hard or anything like that. So it's actually soft. So it's really nice when you brush it out, it's gon na be soft, but it's good because it's gon na give it a little bit more of a cold. I have. This is a bristle. This is like a teasing comb and you don't have to you wanted to use. You can use a regular comb, so I would just say a comb or a brush or to thing comb would be great and of course you need bobby pins. So, yes, I'm using bobby pins to pin them alright. So here we go so I'm gon na grab a section kind of like this. My first piece right here and you want to just comb it. Okay, we've got one section: you could use a clip to clip the rest of your head out of the way, so I'm gon na do that right now and I open this baby, pretty good. We have a little bit of this. It smells really good, though really cheap, rub it in my hair and I'm just rubbing it through I'm bringing it through my hair. So you get a little bit of that product in there now. I'M gon na comb this back and I'm just literally gon na search for wasting okay. I am twisting my hair alright, once you have it at the bottom, you are going to wrap it around and a little bun. So it looks like a honeycomb on your head and you're, basically gon na pin that with so just hold the tip of that honeycomb. Looking thing, I'm getting a bobby pin and I'm just pinning that's the edge of it go anywhere, and I like to use two. Just so that it really stays steady and you just spin it down putting some of that product running it through my hair get a comb, I'm just gon na. Do this whole big section here and then twitch around until you run out of here now, I'm gon na do this sighs, so I'm just continuing my second business from the front just not to be perfect. Get this hair out of the way run it through any texturizing cream or mousse will work and I'm twisting the mold back. So that way, when I take them out, my curls will be going out instead of in and I'm wrapping it around. So this is what it's gon na look like when you're done, you're gon na look a little crazy, there's all these little balls everywhere and so they're all twisted. So basically, what it looks like when you take them out is the twist the tighter you twist it it's ready, creating like a spiral, the curl and then, when you twist it around in a bun, it's actually making it like two types of pearls and one. So I can't wait till I sleep tonight and the next day to come out. You can see how beautiful the curl that's going to come out. So here's the first one to show you how it looks if you see this, how it goes into this perfect little curlicue, it's so bouncy all right. So I look like a puppy, see how they're so curly almost like little curly dreadlocks and now I'm just going to brush it all out, and I did a total of twelve little twisted funds. And so obviously, this is going to give me a really tight, bigger curl of a result, and you can do like four of them. You can do you know six if you want a looser crowd, probably recommend like for it like two in the front two in the back, and you can kind of just change up the sectioning or the kind of result you want, I'm separating it with my fingers. First cuz, they are kind of tight and then I'm gon na go through and brush it out after. This is my big curly hair and tutorial how to get some really tight, big curls, naturally, just by sleeping with these little buttons that I did

Leslie Alvarado: omg thank you so much for this tutorial I naturally have wavy curly hair! And I think this is going to help them even out when I wear it that way!

Dani S: Thanks so much! This worked so well for me, I got the curls I wanted and it was so easy to do! I only did 6 buns cuz my hair is thin and it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on but the results were definitely worth it!

Jenna Sakol: Looks so natural! I also have naturally straight hair that can't hold a curl so this was REALLY helpful! Love it! Awesome tutorial! Can't wait to try it tonight!!

Gloria Tafoya: I'm latina and have very curly hair?Really why make this a racial thing. Its just hair doesn't matter what color or race we are.

Tamarin Thomas: This is so perfect, thank you! Definitely going to try this out

AnnacuaD: They are called Bantu Knots :-) A little tip I've learned, fingers cause frizz. So next time after you remove the bobbie pins, use a little hair serum, pomade, or whatever you use to combat frizz; put it on your fingertips and run it down the length of the hair. It will help with frizz control and fly aways. Another thing is if you only separate at the root, instead of separating then brushing, your curls will last longer. Hope these tips help. Be blessed.

chai momma: I have naturally curly hair and this works great for curly hair too. Sometimes I need to braid it to keep it healthy as it dries so it doesn’t end up frizzy and flat. I take my braid out the next day and it’s still damp, then I add more product with wetted hands and gently work it in. It air dries and has a great curl pattern then if I’d styled it straight out of the shower.

blissfulbaboon: Thank you for the great tutorial, and I was happy to get educated by the comment section that these cool little buns are called bantu knots ,whose cultural origins started in Africa and often symbolize black pride. They are a tradition we can all share, and as with any great invention, with high respect for those West African people who created it.

Alisa: OMG can´t wait to try this tutorial today! Love those curls :3

lifeofJD: I did that twice it works so great i love this idea!! Thanks!!

Queen Bea: ❤️ this idea so going to try it it would definitely save time in the morning trying to get that perfect curl . Thank you for making this video .

mortygal: OMG cannot wait for my hair to grow out more so I can try these!!! I would do these on a regular basis if it worked as well on my hair

Rita Delarosa: I love it! My sister + I have natural curly hair, but it's wild. I like how you can give it more definition this way! My mom put pincurls in my hair as a child + I've done it myself, but this is nicer. Not a cultural thing at all. Chill.

angsuno: THANK YOU ❤️❤️ IT WORKED !! Lately I’ve been straightening my hair a lot, which I’m going to stop doing bc it has damaged some of my curls, but this really helped so I can have curly hair again !! Thank youu

Giselle Jacques: Awesome and extremely helpful video! I am using it to do my wedding hair! Thanks!!!!! :)

ZiggyLu 2022: Awesome! God bless you dear sister. Thanks! I totally wanted to know what I could do to get my flat hair into curls without damaging it. That’s looks so good and natural. Thank you so much!

Madalina B: You can use tiny elastics hair ties instead of Bobby pins too. Same result! Great work!

Beauty and Life: Love this curl type.  Looks great on you!  Need to try :)  Thanks for sharing

Susan Gillihan: When I was a little girl my grandma did pin curls in my hair before bed. It was the only way she ever curled her hair. These really add some nice twist. Now that my hair is butt length I think I'm going to have to try these! Thanks!

Anita White: I can't wait to try this on my hair! Great video!

Madeleine Brown: I just did this and it still keeps! My hair is very very fine, and I only used normal hair mousse. Thank you for the video, this is how I will always curl my hair from now on!!! (y)

Tori Armstrong: So pretty! I am totally going to try this. :)

Vicki Gunter Graham: Your hair is gorgeous! Can't wait to give this a try!

oneoptimisticstar: Love them, I just started doing headless curls myself, I have baby fine hair, but I have a lot of hair, and it's mixed, curly around my face, wavy 80% and bone straight like 3 fingers in the back, yup a complete mess, so this method is becoming my go to since in not damaging my hair with ago the heart. My question is what did you use to brush it out, it looked great, I've been afraid to brush it because I thought I would look like a poodle, but your curls look natural and beautiful. Do you brush it out with a wide tooth comb or like a paddle brush?

Sydney Nguyen: So beautiful, and extremely helpful!!! Thank you so much for your video, and the time you took to make it#^.^#

Marilyn White: Just finished putting all my little twists in! Time to sleep on it and see how it turns out :)

neveahboo: I have tried something like this trying to curl my hair and watching your video made me want to try it out again! I would do it without product, so the curls would fall pretty fast and return to wavy. I'm glad that I got to see some product that would help make them stay longer (I'm not really a beauty enthusiast, so I don't know what people use). Thank you!

Pegasus: What a beautiful result! I have done four, but I see that more is prettier! Great job, young lady!

Cassie Oppong: Calm down people are always looking for ways to bring others down she's just trying to find an easy way to make her hair curly if Bantu knots work for her then so be it she never said she made this up

Hordo M: AWESOME technique. LOVE it!

Ell Powers: Love the awsome trick! Never ever seen such great curls from straight to curly without a perm!!!

Tamsin Pritchard: This actually worked! I put them in thinking that it wouldn't work in a million years, but then it turned out pretty well for a first time Note: I didn't use any product on my hair apart from hairspray afterwards to keep it up for longer so you don't necessarily need what she used in the video Thanks For A Great Video!! I'm Gonna Try This Out Some More

roger hammond: Love your tutorial videos Cynthia, i am a hairdresser relearning balayage and colour, your videos, really helping me, thank you, and your stunning x

Mara Jazwieck: Can't wait to try this tonight! I'm on such a limited budget right now and don't want to spend any extra $$ if I don't have to. Many thanks for showing me the way!

The Gothic Two-Step: I'd do this with just two buns when I was a little girl, and now I do a sort of mix between a French braid and a rope braid on each side and wrap them into buns behind my ears. Gives rather mermaid-y hair, I can't do more for extra curliness though. I'm envious of all you ladies who can sleep with loads of bantu knots, the effect is beautiful!

Jaqueline G: pretty and simple..love it

waitwho: AHHHH finally someone with the same hair as me!!! Thank you so much!!!☺️

Stinkaboo62: Beautiful job! Love the look! I will try it for sure. Take care. Hugs from Kentucky

Maria Flores: Don't worry about the comments sweetie, it came out beautiful and you are a beautiful girl both inside and out. Not everyone's willing to share what they know. I will definitely try it, and Thank you soooo much for the tutorial, so far it's the easiest one I've seen. Keep up the good work. God Bless you.

Leah June: Just put 8 buns in my hair instead of 12. Slightly afraid, nervous and excited about the outcome I'll have tomorrow! Hopefully it turns out cute, because straight hair just gets so boring after a while and your results were SO cute!!

Michelle Baker: Never knew, I will definitely try tomorrow. Thank you so much.

DrawQ: That was amazing! thanks <3

Bab3 Gurl: My great Aunt and Grandma curl their hair like this in the early 40s late 50s and early 60s until spinge curlers came out ... You did a great way of exsplaining heatless curls

Calvin Ray: You look amazing, great idea!! I will pass this off to my daughter to try!! God Bless Ya!!

cherry noodles: Leave the poor girl alone, I've been curling my hair like this for the last year or so and had no clue up until now that these were called Bantu Knots and were part of African American culture. She probably didn't know that these were called Bantu Knots either, and it's hardly as if she's mocking black people by making this video.

Sheri Julien: Really lovely results!!

mrs. bfd: wow! Im definitely doing this! thank you!

Mil Els: Looks lovely wish I had the patience for this

Ahnikah Rubio: I just tired this it works so well! p.s love your video's!

Karen Sanchez: As soon as this video finished I ran around my house trying to find as many bobby pins as I could!!!

Mariah C: I thought it looked beautiful, and as far as the hairstyle goes.. my mom was doing this when she was 15 yrs old and that was over 70yrs ago...It looks beautiful on her.. I loved it...‍♀️

Kristine Sa: thanks for the tutorial. I found it helpful. never thought of doing this. thanks again.

Joyful Heart: Thanks so much for sharing this! Loved the verse you included in the beginning ❤️

Gerard Roderick: This was great, you have beautiful hair! You twisted very carefully and pinned very carefully and that is the secret. Very nice tutorial. My only other comment is, girl, don't use your teeth to separate the bobby pins!!!! I can't stress this enough. I am way older than you and used bobby pins when I was young. It will eventually make little chips in your teeth. I had to have my front two teeth "smoothed" off at the dentist, which shortened my teeth, obviously! (Although my screen name is Gerard, I am a woman with long red hair.)

lulxdess: These curls came out beautiful and she's beautiful ! Why is everyone hating ?

emma Hubble: I tried this trick and I love it!!

JustA Fan: Wow, it looks so beautiful

Cindy S: The hair style is so cute I'll made it by myself too Thanks for made this video

Happy Smiles: OMG!!! So gorgeous!!!

Amna S.Q: So doing this ...love the look :)

Kendra Linnette: Your tutorial saved my life! Thank you lol

D Z: Love it I’ll try tonight!! Thank you dear!

Kamie Bu: Couldn't really sleep with bobby pins all over my head! So I used rubber bands instead and they worked just fine :)

Grace Mauro: They are so wonderful!!! I have wanted a perm but I think I will just do these!!! Thank you!!!

Call Me Swivel Hips: Looks great! Just so you know, that particular strategy is called a bantu knot out. I tried it once, but it didn't work because I had too many split ends at the time.

Mal Cope: My hair is exactly like yours! It's really hard to curl, or basically do anything with or it will fall right out in a matter of minutes! I am going to check it out tonight to see how it works!

Beatriz Cardenas: I've done this before without any product and it worked beautifully but that may be because my hair is naturally poofy/curly. Going to do it again sometime soon, especially since I'm running out of hair styles with my new short hair.

nahnni: The curls turned out very lovely!

Insert Name: this is so easy! thank you

Shana Fife: Looks amazing!

Melanie Garcia: OMGGGG THIS ACTUALLY WORKEDDD!!! I TRIED IT OUT JUST ONE TO SEE AND IT WORKED!!! then I did like 5 IT WORKED I'm going to do my whole hair!!!

Megan Davies: I tried this out and I have really thin hair, I did six buns and it curled my hair really well would recommend this :)

Esther Almanzar: This really helped me because I couldn't find a way to curl my hair and this is amazing

Grace Natelborg: I love these!!!! Great job!!!!

Zee Huss: Wowwwwwwwwwwww the result is amazing. I love your after hair. That's seriously the best no heat curls tutorial I've seen. Thankyou I love you for that <3

Daniela calero: Ladies with semi-curly hair or wavy hair, I wouldn't recommend doing this. When I woke up, I could hardly take the little buns out, like they literally just got stuck, that for a moment I thought my 20 buns on my head were never coming off! It tangled my hair to the extreme! But it defenitely looks good on straight hair because it's more silky and smooth (:
