Hi YouTube. Welcome back to my channel is Cara moly thanks for coming back to see me today, I'm going to show you some protective styles that I do it's just two simple styles. I don't have a lot of time in the morning to get ready. You know. I'M always rushing to get here and there get to work, so I just do kind of like the same style every day, pretty much so. First, here's a picture of the tools that I use. I use combs brushes. Of course, I wish to rise and sew elastic bands with no metal piece and bobby pins, so let's go ahead and get started with it: okay, guys so, first, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na get my moisturizing lotion. I'M gon na go ahead and rub that in my hands and rub that in my hair from the ends to the roots, everyone that you know for this video, I was in the middle of a relaxer stretch. So my roots are a little thick. If you notice - and it was time for me to dye my hair again too - so that's what's going on in the front there, but it is the best time to do a protective style next here I have my olive oil. It'S my staple. I love my olive oil. I want to rub that in from the ends to the roots of my hair as well to go ahead and still that moisturizing lotion and using your doing a hair here into two sections: okay, I'm gon na get my comb comb. All of the moisturizing oil through my hair, I'm not gon na, go too close to the roots, because I actually don't call my new growth unless I'm in the shower - and I have some conditioner in my hair - I'm gon na go ahead and brush my hair. So I can get ready to brush it into the style, I'm brushing all of my hair to the side, so I can go ahead and put it in style that one and I have it in two sections again, but the bottom part is on the side and Top artists to the side as well in the front, I'm just smoothing everything young between the two sections. Then you see me reach over and I get my last band with no metal piece. I'M just going to smooth my hair down again and smooth my hair in to the ponytail with that little pin pictures tight, but not too tight, and you see I have those two sections like I said before: I'll keep them separate brush down the front. A little more, it's kind of like fan it out a little bit and smooth it down with my hands still holding it down. I pull it back behind my ear and over the ear, I don't put it behind the ear. I put it over the ear. I like that effect, makes it hair. Look fuller to me. I take my bobby pins and my bobby pin does half the end zone and you always have to make sure your bobby pins have the end I'll go ahead and put that in just move. My hair down some more separate the ponytail now with the hair that was swooped down and next to the ponytail. I separate that hair into two pieces. I wrapped one piece around the elastic band and then I wrap the other piece around the band as well, so make like a little button, make sure I tuck those ends in and protect those ends, and I take the bobby pin back out of my hair because I really don't need it anymore, and I actually put it into the bun to secure the ends of the buttons make sure those ends are all in the bun and protected and covered, because with a protective style, you want to make sure that you protect those ends And another bobby pin kind of like smooth everything down. You know as good as possible make it look how you want it. You know you can put your own twist on this if you like, to with just something real, simple, real, easy check that out and I like to make sure it's really secure, because I hate when Styles come out during the day. I know some people have jobs where they wear the headpiece. You know if I I've done a lot of customer service jobs. So if you really mess your hair up, it's not secured all right. I'M just gon na take a look at that. Okay, so I'm going to take my brush, it's like a little toothbrush. No, I don't use it on my mouth ever and I put it in my joe kinda like smooth down my edges, because those edges can get really unruly when you're doing a relaxer stretch. So I do use a gel and the gel I use doesn't have any alcohol, so it never breaks my hair off or anything like that, and I like smooth edges, it makes you look complete to me, get them as smooth as possible anyway, get a little more For the other side, I have a little sideburn they're, a little sideburn action swoop. Those onto me smooth it down some more and the look is complete. Go easy! Nothing! Fancy, quick, easy! Okay! This next style is pretty simple. It'S kind of like the last one. Okay, see I got my brush to lay down my edges. I'M gon na do that. First, this time, I'm smooth it up. I have a pieces up in the front and well go ahead and twist that, like a flat twist, the big one on the top of my head and kind of swoop it towards the back pick towards the back of my head. Stop right here right there and get a bobby, pin and secure that I'm gon na take the rest of my hair and brush it down brush it brush it brush. It course: I'm not gon na brush the flats with brush both eyes. Sometimes it's a you know. A little different, so I'm going to smooth all that down into a ponytail, try to make sure there's not too many flyaways, and I also took the bobby pin out of my hair. I take my elastic band again with no metal piece and I secure the hair kind of suck things in anything's hanging out and smooth it down again. Then I'm gon na take the hair, that's left out in the ponytail and I twist that all the way down - and I want to twist that sometimes I leave it down and might secure it with another elastic piece. But today I'm just gon na take in and roll it right up cause. I want to protect my ends. I'M gon na take another elastic band with no metal piece and secure that, instead of security with a bobby pin, you can do either/or. Sometimes I pull down on the twist a little bit kind of make, make it fuller, make a look, fuller and so want me so tight and there you go. What are you? Those are the two protective styles that I use the most they're fast cute and easy. Thanks for watching, look out for future videos and remember to Like comment and subscribe thanks, bye,
