How To Master a Braid Out on Relaxed Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel and for the persons who are new to my channel. My name is hair guru, j, a i do, relax, hair care videos based off of my personal experience in this video i'll, be sharing with you, six different hairstyles that you can use to increase volume in your relaxed hair. The first one is roller setting your hair. Doing roller sets whenever you wash your hair, if you want to have nice bouncy hair, it's best to roller, set your hair rather than doing a blow out and a flat iron, the flat iron, even worse. So, depending on how your you want your hair to fall, you would look at the size of the roller that you're going to use. I, for one have really long relaxed hair at this time, so i would use really large rollers, as you see in my previous videos, because i want my hair to fall nicely. However, i still want it to have some type of volume to it. When i go to the salon, my stylus sets my hair and then she blows it out. So my hair isn't just being blown out from the wet state. It is volumized and then straightened. If you want volumized hair, you will definitely need to stay away from the flat iron itself, and that takes me to my second point: reducing the use of a flat iron. You will never have nice luscious fluffy hair. If you keep using a flat iron in your hair one, it breaks down your hair by burning it crisping it frying your hair and and two it literally says what it does it. The name of it is a flat iron, so you will be flattening your hair. I completely stopped using a flat iron back in 2020 and i would recommend that you stop using a flat iron as well. The third tip is doing heat less waves. Heatless waves are awesome because one, yes, as it says you don't use heat and it's really easy to do. All you need to do sometimes is to just put your hair, maybe in two buns to the back of your hair and release it in the morning. So heatless waves are really good when you want to increase volume in your hair, let it look volumized and luscious and it doesn't take a lot of work. The fourth one is doing braid out and i'm actually rocking a braid out style right now for this video, my hair has been braided since sunday of this week. Today is what wednesday and my hair has been braided, so i will let them go for the video that you saw yesterday, and this is what i'm rocking with right. Now you can do several styles with braid outs, a side part, a middle part, put your hair up in like a half a path down type of look, there's so many things that you can use to braid out to accomplish, and it of course, volumizes your hair. The fifth tip is doing air drying air drying. Your hair, a lot of you, are afraid of air drying, your hair because it may come out frizzy. But as long as you have the right products using the right method, you will come out with really straight really. Luscious, air, dried hair: if you have like lots of natural hair in your roots, you can do the scarf method. That'S really good! You just tie a scarf around your edges and go to bed or you know. Do your chores that you have around the house and in no time your hair is air dried one of the things i use to air dry? My hair is a fan. I would sit directly in front of my fan, so it helps to dry my hair much faster. So if you can dry your hair in a fast pace, then that would help with minimizing the frizzing, because the more the time your hair takes to dry, the more it frizz. I tend to run my fingers through my hair. While it dries, i may be reading a book. I may be scrolling through social media, but my hand is running through my hair that helps with detangling it as well, just as if you were to use a comb with a blow dryer with on the cool setting. If you have a lot of frizzing as well um and anything or everything that you use does not help you with the frizzing, i would recommend you blowing your hair out on the cool setting. So it's literally cool no heat blowing it out the cool setting and showing that your hair is blown out properly before you head to bed, because it some people really have hair that frizz. They can't help it. So if you are one of those people, you can definitely fill your hair out on the cool setting or do a air dry during the day and not really during the night. So when whatever you're doing in the house or you're doing chores, your hair is being dried, while you have it, you know moving around while you work the final one is bantu knots. You guys have never seen me bantu knots before, but i do wear them. I tend to think i have a big head. Why do i say that i have a big head, so i don't wear bantu knots on purpose in public, but i do wear um bantu knots, sometimes uh when i clap my hair or braid my hair. Sometimes i may just twist it around and i'm like no, i am not showing them this big head with behind pronouns. The bantu knots really give you a really nice style when you release it and you wear it down alright guys. Zoé Malcolm: Hi, thank you for this video .. actually all your videos. It really has given me the motivation to get back on track with my hair care journey and investing in my hair. I messaged your instagram with some questions. I see that you posted a story of haircare products in a particular store and could you just tell me where that is? I hope by time you see this you remember. P.S. I live in Jamaica

Domingo88: Are the items shipped from different suppliers cause some shipping places charge separate clearance fees for each item once they are coming from various sellers and not one one flat for the weight where the cost would be combined for all items shipped if they were shipped by one seller

Gina Petit-Homme: Girl you are perfectly made by God ...you are beautiful and your head is not big ..you fine !!!!

Naturally new to the game 😉: I will try the air dry in the summer
