Hey guys welcome to my channel brilliant life. I know I'm coming over here, looking a little bit crazy, but there's a reason for it. So I went surfing on YouTube to kind of try to find some relaxed females who have done like a tutorial on a perm rod, set that's kind of fluffy and big I've seen some like the fro for natural girls, but I haven't seen any for relaxed girls. So I wanted to try that today and I don't know if it's going to turn out right, so I'm going through this right along with you, guys, you're going to be seeing the whole process. I kind of wondered to myself hmmm what would make my hair like that, because the difference from relaxed hair and natural hair is that you know um. Their hair has more of a spongy feel to it. Our hair doesn't is straight, so you know they have shrinkage where we don't so the hair is more spongy like and it draws up and that's why it does so good when you do perm rod sets and flexi rod, sets and kind of gives you that big Voluminous looks so so I parted my hair into five sections, one two, three four five and what I did was I kind of parted, my hair, how I wanted my curls to lay so I kind of have this like star at the top of my head and I'M gon na roll, my rollers going down, so these curls are going to fall. This way these curls are going to fall like this way. These girls are going to be falling in my face these curls this way and these girls down like this. So now I'm just going to jump right into this tutorial and I hope you guys enjoy going through the process with me. So I'm starting off with the tangled freshly washed hair. I let it air dry overnight. I did a protein treatment. I washed it it air dried and I also detangled it and I put coconut oil on it. So it's clean, it's fresh and all I'm going to be doing is putting my wrapping foam lotion on on my hair, I'm gon na be using my heat protectant. My stick elements: heat protectant, I'm going to be using my oil moisturizer by Brunner brothers. I'M going to use all Sheen when it's all finished, just kind of give it a little shine and I'm going to use my silk and seal anti free serum just to so. To reduce the frizz and make sure everything is defined and pretty so, let's go ahead and get started, hey guys. So I'm just coming to kind of explain to you about the rollers that I used. I use the darker orange rollers and then the light orange rollers. The light orange rollers are a tad bit smaller than the dark orange rollers. So I wanted to put those towards the front of my hair because the front of my hair is longer than the back of my hair. So I figured you know in order to have you know the bangs in the front and the big puffy. You know curls all over that I should probably put the smaller ones in the front where it's longer and then the bigger one ones in the back. So yeah that's pretty much it and I just kind of went through the motions, as I'm showing you all the products, and I just really completed this all over my head. I did the same thing all over my head. It was super super easy, just kind of be careful with snags of your hair and stuff, but yeah pretty much just keep watching and I'll see you guys when I'm finished hey guys, so it is now 719. Yet, oh my gosh I after taking breaks taking naps taking food breaks and all this other stuff, I'm back. I could not sit under that dryer um. That long, I probably said I'm there for about an hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, kinda, maybe cuz. I took so many breaks, but um, I think we're just gon na leave them in overnight and then come back and show you guys the finished results, but I just want to take this one out to show you guys how it turned out. It turned out really good and guys is super soft, like I don't you're super song, so I'm feeling really good about this um and I hope it turns out that I wanted to saw see you guys in the morning. You

ARIN STYLES: Thank you so much! I just relaxed my hair after 5 years of being natural. I've been searching all over for tutorials for relaxed hair and they are few and far in between.

Synth: Omg thank you! I have the Japanese hair straightening and whenever I tried to follow the fro braid out tutorials it never worked for me because it just turns back straight. And I was frustrated because since there were no tutorials for chemically straightener/relaxed I assumed it just wasn't attainable. I can't wait to see how your curls turn out

Ajay J: Thank you so much! How long does this last? Do I do it every night?

Suphane Dash: Just discovered this video wanted to do something different, letting you know you are still making a difference ✊
