Bantu Knot Out (Side Sweep Look) (Relaxed Hair) (Tutorial)

This video shows you how I created my Curly Side Sweep Look using Bantu Knots worn overnight. There's many different ways to create this style, however, I chose to do it on freshly washed hair which I left to fully air dry. You can also do it on damp hair or if you want quicker results, you can use a hooded/bonnet dryer or a hand held hair dryer. It's easy to do once you get the hang of it, so give it a try.

Hope you enjoy my video!

Hi everyone and welcome back to another video today, I'm going to show you how I created this curly sized sweet look, use it back to not so what we'll be using to do. This style is a large tooth comb, a small tooth comb, an applicator comb bobby pins, a bristle brush a hair band and why that's the QP, olive oil and magnet buttercream? Okay right, so my hair has just been washed. It'S been conditioned been left to air dry. No products on part of my hair is my mane and tail detangler. The tangles are not solution and I've also applied my leave-in conditioner, which is the cream of nature argan oil to devonshire, leave-in, conditioner, right, okay. So, let's get started, I'm going to be using the applicator brush simply just to separate my hair at the back. So I'll show you what I'm doing just leave my headband just to keep my hair out of place. I'M gon na apply the elastic upe, olive oil mango batter on my hair, so I might actually put much in it today. So just apply justice peeling them out all over back over back and also on the ends of my hair. Just gon na apply a small amount again, that's so I'm putting just a very small amount and just working from the ends up. Here'S my brisket brush, I'm going to just gently brush the back first, just to smooth it out and then my way to comb. Just to slightly detangle, starting from the end and working on way upwards right, okay, so now to create the bantu knots. What you want to do is twist the hair like this might just want to twist it just twist the whole of your hair. Twist twist twist twist twist and then you want to wrap, wrap it round washed tie in the hair around the bantu knot. You can see what I'm doing there keep twisting as you twist you wrap around just going to get a bobby pin. Let'S just hold it down in place so that the ends don't unravel. Just like that, and I'm going to create another section and try and show you a close-up in your image. You can see exactly what it looks like and I'm going to separate this section into two, if you're going to keep applying my own olive oil mango glasses to all sections of the hair and just hundred for it again, alright, okay, so just going to twist it Again, just keep twisting twisting moving down as you twist and then you're going to wrap it around like this, while you're still twist it and hold it in place. It'S twist all the way, keep wrapping it around and then secure it, but bobby pin again just about that. So we're gon na go into this section and literally I'm doing exactly what I've done in the back here and this one all the way around: okay, okay! So, just moving on to the last one now just brush it up the front just to keep it nice and smooth. Okay, I'm just twisting again, okay! So all the bands who knocks em in I'll just turn around and show you what it looks like okay. So I'm going to do now, I'm going to put my silk my satin headscarf on and I'm going to weigh this overnight. So I'll just put that on now a bit of a funny head show going on. I'M sure you get the point, the picture, while I'm doing this just tie in the back, I'm not doing it too tight, because I don't want to put too much tension on the band to enopp it's already tight as it is and yeah well, the way there Overnight and then tomorrow morning, I wouldn't take it off and show you exactly what it looks like: okay. So now it's the next day and I've taken my headscarf, but I've been wearing the bank to not sing for about 12 hours now. So I take it all that really looks like okay they've all been taken out, as you can see this one in the back kept falling out overnight. So that's why it's not as curly as the rest. What I'm going to do it and they'll separate each one? Just keep it some more volume, okay, so slightly separated it now for the style I'm actually going to sweep this side all the way around to here, I'm just going to show you that now I'm going to apply a bit more moisture just to the front area Here into the front as well in the back right, so I'm just gon na sweep it around like this and I'm gon na hold it in place using bobby pins. So I'm just going to place each one with peanut butter, the other and then I'm gon na. Just unravel war of the band to adults just to give it even more more you women do that puts the booking just a little sections here to keep those curls together. Just gon na stick one just here as well, just to pin the front down to here. I'M also just going to spray a hair polisher behind, I see Fantasia just finished finished in church. Okay, that's it that's! How create my curly sweeps value to bantu knot. This made different ways: you can do it. You can do it on damp hair as well as air, dried, hair, you're somebody that once doesn't want to wear it overnight, because it's very uncomfortable what you can do is wash your hair really early on in the morning, and now I'm not type your hair to Air dry create a bantu knots and you've got the rest of the day for your hair to sit. And, alternatively, you want to use heat. You learn a hooded, dryer or bonnet dryer for a couple of hours, or you can also use a blow dryer blow dry. Your hair and then create bantu knots, but yeah. This is how I done it and I hope you enjoyed the video if you are new to my channel watching the first time and do subscribe a black see more before me, but other than that.
