If you're new to this channel, my name is Kimya & I love doing a little bit of everything. I'm still experimenting with my content and trying to make it my full-time thing so follow along with the journey to see it evolve. On my channel you'll be able to find lots of vlogs, hauls, outfit videos & much much more. We'll see where it all goes! :)

Surprise. Okay, so i cut my hair and it's officially dark. I should have known better. I should have listened to anna paul when she said that when she went to bali last time the chlorine damaged her hair because my hair was so damaged. My grandma is my hairdresser and she couldn't even brush it past here, so we just chopped like that much off and went black by accident. So i'm just going to show you guys a couple hairstyles that you can do with short to medium hair, because we need to get creative. We need to discover some hairstyles that make it look like. We have some variety besides just straight, something that makes you look cool and put together and, like you put in a little bit of extra effort, so stay tuned. If you want to see a bunch of different hairstyles, okay, so the first one, i'm thinking is pretty simple: i'm just gon na have a middle part, and then i'm gon na grab a piece like this at the front and just tuck it behind the ear and Then use a little barrette, throw back to barrettes and pin it back i'd, probably hairspray this down and make it nice and sleek, but for the purpose of this video, since we're doing so many different hairstyles, i'm just gon na kind of keep it more natural. But yeah this is the first little hairstyle really really easy. This is just like super simple. Next we have a predictable one and it's front braids, so i'll get a little closer, so i'm just gon na braid. It really small like this. I'M not gon na worry about it being too neat or anything. I feel like this adds a little bit of spice and it's so easy, and if the front of your hair is looking a little wonky, this works perfect. I'M literally shook at myself right now. Looking at myself in the viewfinder in the mirror, i do not recognize myself like. I am a different person right now. It is tripping me the hell out. Okay - and i have these tiny little hair ties little clear ones. It'S looking like a little stiff, so i'm gon na just kind of mess it up a bit, make it a little thicker too rough it up around the edges. That'S a little better. Okay, i'm gon na do the same thing on the other side and i probably recommend using a lasting that matches your hair color, because this isn't really matching. If you don't know how to do a braid, i'm sure there's like a million tutorials on youtube and honestly it's super easy. It just may take some practice. This one is accidentally a little bit smaller than the last one. For the purposes of this video we're just gon na leave it, i just made a tick tock, and i was saying that you have this image of yourself in your head of how you think you look like, and now that image of myself is totally destroyed, because I have no idea what i look like, i imagine my old hair and then, when i look in the mirror, i get like shocked, so i'm having a little bit of an identity crisis. I hope this video helps someone because it's surely helping me my hairdresser is lucky, i'm not the type to cry when you cut my hair, because i was like so close, but like i'm also the type to kind of like try to stay positive with it. Okay, so these are the braids. What, if we oh, what if we kind of let the braids stick out and did a little middle part pony? I don't know if this would look ridiculous or cute. I feel like the pony length is kind of cute, like i'm not gon na lie. This is very like hippie, i don't know childish a bit, but i kind of like it. We are totally just experimenting right now. Oh, how about we add a little something down here like another braid, maybe like a little bit thicker though oh my god, like feeling my hair right now and how short it is freaks me the hell out and also it is so thick, though, all of a Sudden, like i don't even know how to handle having thick hair like this, because i always had layers. Oh my hair is so silky now, like i don't mind that all right, we got this little braid. I feel like it's kind of cool half. We took the braid tucked it behind our ears, clipped it in okay and had the little braid sticking out here so shows. I think that's really cute. I think i just discovered a new hairstyle. You guys are literally learning along with me. So hopefully i come up with some good ideas, so you guys can take something away from this video okay, i kind of did these unevenly, but it's still really cute. Next, i'm feeling some space buns. So you just section your hair off like this. Just above your ear, i like how i'm giving instructions on this, but i'm literally like just making it up right now. So then, i'm gon na twist! Oh, i already love this one and my like finger is in the middle of the bun to kind of like give it shape. I don't know if that's a good idea or not see how this turns out kind of cute. Okay. I actually really love this one. Okay, again kind of like an upward direction from your ear, just like that also get yourself a boar bristle brush, because it will literally save your life when it comes to doing slick, hairstyles two okay round two, i feel like it's always harder than the first time. So the struggle with space ones is getting them. Even. I know it's definitely gon na be smaller. Okay, it's gon na be like impossible to get them completely, even so use bobby pins, tear them down and make them look a little less like they're floating. Okay, pretty even i think it's cute, i kind of love this one, it's so cute and it was so easy. It literally took like one second, and if i can do it, you can do it because i literally just figured out how to do this right now. Okay, i think the space buns are win next, let's do a little clip look step. One middle part, step two grab your hair and use a bore, bristle brush and obviously hairspray. If you are just doing this hairstyle regularly, if i'm trying to be extra secure, i tie it at a ponytail at the base of my head this and then just twist twist twist. I'Ve never done this with short hair, always long. If you want the little top pieces to stick out clip higher up, so it kind of just pushes them up, and then you can play around with it. My hair is just being so like weirdly textured. My hair has never been like this floppy and soft. It usually just sticks up because it's so damaged okay, so this is the little clipped up look and then so for another variation of this hairstyle. I was thinking of taking two strands out, so let's try that okay, so i'm gon na take it out of the base, really really thin pieces. This is really cute, though key is like keep them really thin, because if you get too much out, it kind of looks weird. Also, hairspray really helps in this situation, because everything will just be like slick down, and i would personally actually take some hairspray gel and kind of like twist these just like that. This is another hairstyle option. Okay, i kind of like like this now and i don't want to ruin it. How about we do something like with the top section. That'S our little chunk grab the rest of your hair. We'Re gon na take everything but those front pieces. We had and slick it back and i'm gon na do a higher ponytail. Do that nice and high tie it at the top of your head. Take your front pieces. Take your board bristle brush, just slick it down, and then we're gon na just place it flat against our head and pin it with a clip. Okay. This is kind of cute same thing on this side. Oh, i love this one like very cute. Obviously, these baby hairs would be non-existent. They would be like slicked back. I think i would even like it if it was just like a little bit higher next hairstyle, it's going to be taking the front pieces just like this and sectioning it off. We got a little front poof going the rest of your hair back and out of the way just for now we're going to take two little sections from the front just like that. Take a little section, take a little mini air time. Tie it a little bit away from your scalp a little alien, tentacle sticking out again the same thing on the other side and make sure you have a middle part doing this round two here. Second little alien tentacle, so you're left with these two and then take a little section behind that last section you had and then take your front piece and cross it over and kind of gather it into that. Second section you made take another mini hair tie. This is the most complicated hairstyle we've done thus far. You have your third alien tentacle, another little section. I honestly don't know if i'm doing this right. I honestly do not know what's going on with this hairstyle, this little crisscross situation is happening at the top. It'S kind of really bad, but still cuter than doing nothing. I guess, let's just hope. I don't hang out with anybody taller than me on this day, that i do this hairstyle until i figure out how to properly do it. I'Ve decided what my next hairstyle is going to be, and that is a high pony. Half a half down model off duty vibe. We got the hair middle parted, we got it parted on the side, but a little half up, half down action, i'm just gon na brush it basically away from the middle but then still pointing up and then do the same thing. On the other side, the slicker. This is the better it's going to look. So when i do this with hairspray, i know it will look really bomb. It just looks a little bit like more of like a chill version of it without the hairspray. So basically, the goal is to still keep that part in the middle of your head: don't lose it when you're tying it. Let'S try this one more time. It'S really hard to do this without slicking it back with water and stuff, because it's really easy to lose. That part okay, so basically this is the idea of the hairstyle i'd. Probably do it a lot slicker and neater for my preference, but it's still cute probably will rock this hairstyle a lot, because it is just so easy and so simple. I love how i have a huge bump in it. Oh get your middle part. Acting right, grab your hair and section it off into two pieces. We got the top section and then the bottom section kind of like the underlaying piece of hair, take the underlaying section and pull it back over that middle one and just take a clip clip it back tuck that top section in and pull the underlying section back And just clip it in and then two mini little front pieces like we did last time again make sure they're really like thin pull them out up front. This is the next hairstyle not gon na lie guys trying out all these new hairstyles got me tired. So i think that's it for today, if you guys want a part two of this with more hairstyles, let me know and i'll make it, but for today i think that's it anyways thanks so much for watching love. You guys and i'll see you guys next time. Bye
