#SummerRelaxedhaircare(2022)

Hey lovey's, thank you so much for tuning back into my channel, i'm coming to you today with some relaxer hair care tips for summertime. Now i only have five tips, but i'm going to be doing it a bonus tip, but i thought that i would come on and share some of these tips with you guys, because of course it is summertime. The heat is at an all-time high and i know y'all here in texas. It is no joke. Okay, um and i'm pretty sure it's kind of hot, where you guys are too so, there's some little tips that we can incorporate to really care for our hair. During this time - and i want to share the ones that i have with you - guys, okay, but before i even get started, i want to say thank you so much for clicking onto this channel. Welcome. Welcome! Welcome if you're new! Here i pray you stick around for the long haul. I pray you subscribe, like the video share it with your friends and your loved ones and all the things. Okay. So without further ado, let's just jump straight and say so. The first tip i have for you guys, is, if you're going to be partaking in any kind of water activities like going to the beach. If you're going to be going to the pool, you're going to be swimming and those different types of things, you want to make sure you wash your hair right after you're done with swimming and going to the beach, because the chlorine and the salt water is not Good for our hair salt water will break your hair off like nobody's business. So if you're going to be going to the pool and if you're going to be swimming, you know in salt water. You want to make sure you wash your hair really good after try to use a clarifying shampoo to wash that salt out and to wash that chlorine out, and then you want to follow up with a deep, moisturizing, conditioner. Okay, let it sit on your hair for a good 10 minutes or whatever, and then you go ahead and rinse it out with cold water, but you have to wash that chlorine and that salt water out of your hair, don't think that you could just let it Air dry and then you'll wash it the next day. No, that is not good. It'S not good make sure you wash your hair right after you're done with your swimming activities and if you're not going to wash your hair and you're not going to be wetting. Your hair just go ahead and make sure you wear your swim cap if you're going to be doing any kind of water activities to protect your hair, because the chlorine in the salt water can really cause your hair to be dry, it can cause your hair to Break and it can further damage your hair or just damage your hair in general. Even if your hair is healthy, it can really damage your hair. So that's tip number one is to make sure you're washing that stuff out of your hair. Okay, okay tip number two tip number two: is you want to make sure that you're protecting your hair with some kind of uv sun rays, protection? Okay? Now i didn't notice, but now they have these sunscreen. Here'S sunscreen out there on the market, i'm gon na pop up a couple for you guys to actually research for yourself and maybe try it out. I haven't tried it out yet, but they are out there on the market and just like we go out and we buy sunscreen to protect our skin. Just know that your scalp is skin as well. So these uv protection, um sunscreens, can really help with protecting your scalp from getting heat, damaged and and sunburns and things of that nature. Okay, so you can go ahead and you can do your research on that. Also, you can use if you don't want to use the heat, protectant, um, sprays and stuff that they have on the market. You can wear a hat that will help protect your hair. You can also use the heat protectant that you use before you actually flat iron. Your hair blow dry, your hair, i used to use one is called icy, fantasia heat protectant and i can't find it right now. It'S going to show you guys i'll, probably pop up pictures for you to see it before you go out. If you know you're going to be at a barbecue you're going to be in the park all day or you're going to be sitting by the pool side or you're just going to be sunbathing or whatever the case may be, you can take a little bit of That heat protectant and just run it on the strands of your hair, and it will really help to protect your hair from the sun rays from the uv sun rays. The sun rays will change your hair color as well. So if you have black hair over time, you'll begin to see your hair start to turn into like a dark brown color and, as time goes on, that brown will start to lighten and you're like wow. My hair was black, but when i look at it in the sunlight, it's a totally different color and the sun can do that to your hair. So you want to really protect your hair. Wear a cap. Wear sun visor wear a brim hat while you're on the beach, a nice beach hat to really protect your hair from the sun. Also, when you buy your heat protected or your uv sunscreen protector for your hair, you want to make sure you read the ingredients, then we'll say uv protection and then some of them will also say uv protection and heat protectant. So you won't have to worry about using your um heat protectant on it, because that covers both things. Okay, so just make sure you read, the ingredients in the back tip number three is to try to incorporate more heatless, snaps, okay, so try not to flat iron. Your head during this summertime during the season, because you're going to be in the heat all day, you don't want to be putting heat on your hair at home and then turn around and go sit in the heat for a day. That'S that's just too much heat. You'Re, basically frying your hair, even if you use a heat protector, that's just too much heat okay and if you're going to be flat ironing your hair - and this is just something that you do on a regular basis. You want to make sure you at least turn down the heat a little bit on your flat iron, don't flat iron, your hair at the heat that you're normally accustomed to flat ironing your hair, okay, because that's just like a double wing with the heat. Okay. Number. Four is you want to also add more protective styles in your hair? Okay, so start cornbreading, your hair start throwing your hair in a bun. Maybe do two french braids maybe put your hair up in the top knot bun. This is going to protect your hair, but it's also going to allow you to be a little bit more cooler. You know not going to have you know the hair just hanging down on your neck and causing you to be hot and stuff like that. You just keep your hair up. It'Ll cause you to be cooler. It'Ll, keep your hair out of the way, it'll keep your hands out of your hair, and you can just go about your day right, so try to incorporate more protective styles. For me, i've been wearing my hair in the bun. This has been working for me. If i know i'm going to be taking the girls to the park, i'm going to be in the park all day or if they're going to be going to the pool, we're going to sit by the poolside or whatever. I would normally wear like one of my cat baseball caps or i would throw on my um fedora or something like that to protect my hair. Okay, so definitely incorporate more protective style and tip. Number five is try to incorporate more hot oil treatments during the summer months. This is really going to protect your hair and your strands from drying out. It'S going to add more nourishment to your hair. It'S going to kind of protect your strands. It'S going to seal your cuticles and help you to retain more moisture. It'S going to help your hair just to be strong just going to overall protect your hair from some damage. Okay, so definitely definitely add more hot oil treatments to your hair during the summer months. Okay, now, the bonus tip, of course, is to drink more water, try to incorporate more water in your diet, drink as much water, as you can during this high season, because we are already um losing a lot of water from us just sweating alone from the heat. So you want to try to replenish your body. You want to try to keep drinking water drinking water. It'S not only going to benefit your hair, but it's going to benefit your skin. It'S going to cause you to just stay a little bit more hydrated a little bit more cool and stuff like that water. Overall, it's just good for you! So just try to drink more water daily. Okay, as you lose it, you want to put it back in all right. So those are my tips i believe you're able to use them, hopefully you'll be able to incorporate them into your summertime, regimen or whatever you have going on, but yeah. So thank you. So much for watching go ahead and subscribe to. My channel, like i stated in the beginning, also give the video a thumbs up share it with your friends and your loved ones, and until we meet again be blessed - and i love you with the love

Cusp_Of_Magic: These are good tips. I didn't know they had a sunscreen for hair! I like the heat protectant spray idea too. I usually like to wear box braids for the summer...just recently took some out and now have a relaxer.
