Updated Wash Day Routine For Defined Curls Natural Hair Care

Hi divas welcome back to my channel today's video, i'm sharing with you my watch day routine. I was wearing my hair pressed, but i got caught in the rain, so it got a little moisture to it and got frizzy. So let's get to the video and wash this hair first we're going to get the hair moisturized as much as possible with water. I have a little bit of low porosity hair, so it takes a little while for the water to penetrate and moisturize my hair. I do have the water on warm to hot temperature just so that we can open up those pores and get all the moisture in and anytime that my hands touch. My hair, i try to detangle with my fingers as much as possible throughout the whole entire wash process today, i'm using products by as i am - and this is the jamaican black, castor oil shampoo. I love using as i am products because they are cruelty, free and vegan. They are free from sulfates and parabens, so i'll have the link down below. If you want to try out some as i am products, i kind of work in sections to shampoo, my hair. Just so that i can get every single strand clean and making sure that i'm scrubbing my scalp and lifting up that debris that i might have on my scalp. So while i'm doing that, let's just give a quick shout out to all of my subscribers. I hope that you subscribe and come back to see more of these videos, but okay back to the video, so i didn't use enough shampoo right here. I had to apply a little bit more, maybe because i didn't moisturize my hair enough, but it's okay, we're gon na get it done, and now it is time to rinse, and i continue to scrub my scalp to make sure i'm lifting up all the build up. That'S on my scalp and washing it away with the shampoo and the water just to get it clean and i'm also detangling as well with my fingers. My hair feels softer and it actually feels clean, but we're going to go in again just to make sure that we got all the dirt and debris from the scalp. Normally i would follow with a conditioner about as i am as well, but since i'm out of that, i'm going to use this cantu cream conditioner. Just because i have it here and it's handy and i'm showing you here how clean my hair looks and my scalp looks and it's ready for the conditioner now the conditioner is definitely a very heavy cream based conditioner, but cantu products are definitely affordable and it gets The job done so, i think that's why i had it laying around so this will do for today again, i kind of work in sections to make sure that i'm getting every strand of hair. I really want to make sure i'm getting the edges and the ends to make sure everything is getting conditioned. Next, i'm going to apply a shower cap on my hair so that it can trap some of the moisture while i'm taking a shower and i'll be right. Back okay, so now that i have scrubbed all of my sins away, let's go ahead and finish with this hair and detangle. I always use this detangling brush, because it is super easy to use it's very easy on the hair and easy to clean. That'S the plus! Always detangle with the conditioner in because the conditioner gives it a bit of a slip, making it easier to get those tangles and nuts out so and now the final rinse. It'S so easy to run my fingers to my hair. It feels so much softer, smoother and definitely detangled, okay, anywho i'm using this leave and conditioner in my hair. I'M just going to put a little bit in my hair because i'm going to use another product and i don't want to put too much product back into my hair. I think this conditioner really helps my hair keep moisture and it also helps to pop my curls a little more next, i'm going to put a little bit of coconut curling cream into my hair, because it really helps my curls pop a little more and help them To stay curly and do a final comb through just to make sure the product gets all the way through and voila, i'm all done, give the girls a little shake shake shake and i'll, even slow it down for you, thanks for watching and i'll see you in The next video
