Hey guys welcome back to my channel this Lister popcorn and guys in today's video, I'm going to show you how to cut your hair at home. So, as you can see, this is my okay. It'S been like about a year that I have not cut my hair because my husband likes long hair, so I was trying to grow my hair. So, as you can see over here, my hair it bought. It has a lot of split ends, so I just want to cut this. I just want to trim it a little bit, so I'm trying to get simple airtight, so I'm gon na show you how to cut your hair at home. So guys, if you want to know how to cut your hair at home without wasting money in the powder, please for watching so first make sure that you brush your hair and my hair is a bit wet and brush her hair softer you brush your hair, collect All your hair together and when you deal with an elastic or a rubberband and make sure your hair is dyed and secured really well, after that, you need to leave some space and tie another rubber band to your hair. So, as you can see over here, I left space and I tied the elastic on my hair next. What you need to do is you need to take another rubber band and tie it the place exactly where you want to cut your hair so over here, as I said that I don't want to cut much so I just slide it towards the end, so it Just depends where you want to cut your hair, so if you want to cut your hair towards the second rubber band, you can cut your hair there, but I just wanted to cut a little bit so, as you could see, I was like a bit scared to Cut my hair, but you know we all are scared. We don't wan na me a style to be bad. So, as you see here, it's cut to any level so make sure your hair is cut level and there is no bits left and then you just need to put your scissors into a vertical direction and just cut off the bits of your hair. And then you can just remove the elastic and check if your hair is evenly cut. So, as you can see here, I just went ahead and you know the scissors vertical and ice like it cut the hair once again. So now what I did was I had left the hair and I just wanted to check the length. So I was happy with the land I have cut and then now, as you can see here, I'm going for the second layer so for the second layer. What I have done here is: I have divided the hair again. So though, I've divided my hair into two parts and then I secure both parts with a rubber band. So I'm really very happy with the length I thought, so I don't want to make it really short. So for the second air, I use the same step where I tie two rubber band and third one. I tie the rubberband and then that's exactly where I want to cut my hair. So then I took acid, as you can see, there's a little bit extra hair over there, so I just cut it with the help of the scissor okay. So I'm evenly cutting my hair and I'm trying to make it a straight line. So, as you can see your iron chest down here until vertical direction - and I just cut it slightly so now here - I'm checking it again and I'm slanting and turning the scissor into vertical direction and just cutting the edges sharp. So if you cut it this way, I just you know it cuts really sharp on your hair doesn't have any split ends, so this is the second year, so I did put the layers really far apart, because I don't want my hair to look very bad when I do no time to hair, so I didn't keep much distance between the first layer and the second layer, so the layer between the first and the second is really very short. So not only fear. I want kinda like bangs, but not a short one, but I just want to get out the side look over here so when it looks really good too, as you can see here, what I have done here is that I have divided my hair and let go Please so I made you upside down, we, and this is exactly how most of the people cut the bangs okay, so I did, as I said, I'm not making it really very shot. So I kept the distance between my face and I wanted to reach towards my lips. Okay, not really up all my nose. So then I just straight, I cut my hair and, as you can see after I defied the limit parting, I was try it a bit. Slanting, okay, so, as you can see here, put the scissor upwards down direction and I just my hair so over here I gets like a short short and then a bit longer. Okay. I am really very bad with how to direct you how to cut, but I think I'm pretty clear enough. You know for you to understand what I did with my hair. So, as you can see here, I'm totally in love with it's a cut and it looks so pretty over here. So as you see here, I've got the perfect layer and I totally love this so guys. Genevieve (Suzi): I did mine this way and have never done it any other way since!! You're an absolute doll! Thank you Love!

Rachel In KY: So I watched this video and I tried this method yesterday. My hair is very long almost to my waist and I did everything exactly as instructed and it turned out perfect! I did not shorten my bangs but everything else fell in perfect long layers. Thanks a million for this video!

The-Honest-Momx3: I just tried it and my hair came out perfectly! Thank you so much! It was so easy.

Sister Z: Thank you for this! My sister wanted a haircut - her head felt so heavy as her hair is very thick and long. It’s turned out SO well and she’s very happy. Her head feels lighter and the layering is amazing. Thanks so much for this genius tip!

Mominator7: This is my absolute favorite haircut and I have asked over and over again and have never ended up with this cut. The best I've gotten was big chopped "line" layers. Yes, that was the best. The worst? Started with hair that touched my back pockets and ended up with hair that barely touched my shoulders. I will have to try cutting it myself after seeing this. You've done an EXCELLENT job explaining it. Thank you

Betsy Lee: I had a terrible hair cut this morning (felt like I paid someone to play with my hair) and started looking at DIY haircuts with layers on YT. I just tried this and it definitely works! It gave me the layers I wanted and I’m not crying about my bad cut anymore Thank you!!

Linda G: I love your hair!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! I can't wait to try this this weekend!! Thanks so much for taking the time it takes to make these videos!!

Tas BB: Omg! Such a beautiful cut✂️ and a nice method! Definitely going to try it out!

Francine Marcelin: For a more precise cut that will not lead to more split ends, try using a pair of professional haircutting shears. Otherwise, pretty good results!

Angela Cloud: Holy cow! I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am that heaven made an angel like you. How ever you ended up finding this trick, thank you! I am so tired of spending $300 at the salon I finally bleached my hair and it came out fabulous. However, after one touch-up my hair went on strike. If McDonald’s had a happy place for Dead ends it was surely on my head of hair! You are beyond genius, thank you thank you thank you, for helping me keep a hard earned $100 in my pocket book. And one heck of professional layered haircut, that allowed me to keep my length

Border Crossing: I watched your video last week and finally got up my courage to try it today. It worked perfectly. You made it look easy and it really was. If anyone is sitting on the fence about trying this, try using the steps to just trim a bit off first. When you see how well it works, you will be confident enough to cut off more the next time. Thank you so much.

Keep some length but lose the dead ends. Never given myself layers br bcuz it was Soo difficult for me to judge placements and follow along with any videos. I've seen these hair tie hair cut videos br but, never thought they really worked. I'm very impressed. I'm also happy bcuz I don't let anyone touch my hair. I cut and dye an style my own. Thank you Soo much and God bless!

Leila K: Girl you did a damn good job with your visual demonstration. Also, the verbal was fine too but I understand what you mean as I am not always good as explaining things but that’s ok because most people are visual and hands on learners. You did so good. I am cutting my hair tomorrow.

yikes: Wish I had seen this video before I destroyed my hair... It was around waist length before I grabbed the scissors xD Advice, everyone: never cut your hair when you're upset and craving for change, always cut the hair when you're chill and happy, and never yolo or eyeball a haircut lol I should have overdirected to the front like you did. Windstorm Warriors 🕊️ Watcher 🕊️ Sharon Summers: Hi! Thank you! Very beautiful job! Question: when parting your hair in the back, do you part with the “V’s”, or do you just part straight across? I’d like to try it as my hair is straight down to my bum now about 40” long and I’d like to take it up to about 28” and layered. I’d love to try your method. I’m a chemo patient and can’t go to the salon anymore, as I’ve been quarantined, even before the virus quarantine. I’m thankful for your video.
