**The fact that I failed to follow the tutorial is all on me. Watching this while editing, I noticed I failed on following the exact details in Sheetal's video . I just wanted to put that out there :)**

I don't know why I'm talking like this is a tutorial. It is not I'm just following hi guys. It was at this moment that he knew he [ __ ] up. So today, I'm gon na be attempting attempting to cut layers in my hair and I'm gon na follow this tutorial right here and my goal is to get this beautiful, luscious layers. Everything is pretty much like the same length, pretty boring pretty dull, so yeah. I just want to freshen up my hair and film the process. Welcome to today's video you guys, yeah. I need to be calm and collected well chop it off my hair. I don't have hair clips, so I'm using some hair ties comb right here and then I have some scissors and you guys can't see it, but I do have my computer right here, so I'm just gon na be following her. Basically wish me luck. I get a lot of questions about my haircut and I do cut it myself and I love it because there's so many layers and best of all I get to keep my leg next, I'm going to part my hair down the middle now this is the hair That we're gon na be working on first and the rest of the hair. I'M just going to tie it in the back so that it's out of my way and out of my face here. It'S really thin compared to her, and then she tied her hair back and the first thing I'm gon na do is create a guide. This is going to be the guide that we're gon na be using to cut the rest of our hair. So I'm gon na separate a little bit of hair from the top and take it all the way up and then we're going to start cutting now we're gon na cut in a straight line - and I know that looks like a lot of hair. That looks kinda scary, but point cut upwards and I promise you it's going to turn out so so pretty. I wonder if this is gon na work on me, so she took the middle apart like that. Okay hold up. No, my bangs are gon na fall down, bring it down and point cut it, and there we have our first blade. We'Re gon na be using this guy now to cut the rest of the hair, take a little bit of that and then mix it in with one side of the hair and I'm going to take that side of the hair and bring it up and diagonal. We'Re. Not gon na bring it all the way up. We'Re gon na make it like a little bit of a diagonal and I'm gon na use my comb so that everything is straight and you're going to see the guide sticking out right there. So we're going to be cutting the hair according to the guide so cut where your guide is and point cut upwards and just cut according to the guide. So I guess that I'm just gon na cut it point cut well like point cut, but in this okay, I'm going to put this down okay, I can live with that brush the hairs up and diagonal and you're going to see your guide right there sticking out. That'S where you're gon na cut the reason why we're point cutting is because it just helps the layers to blend more easily, and it doesn't give you that choppy, but look I'm confused! Okay, okay, I'm just gon na okay, I'm just gon na! Do the other side before I change my mind and just shake it out, there's my guide right there: okay, not bad, not bad! The side that I'm not working on I'm going to tie it just to keep it out of my way and I'm gon na work on this side. Now, I'm gon na take a chunk of my hair and mix it in with the guide. So, do you see the guide right there, we're gon na cut an inch lower than that guide because we're creating our second layer inch. It was at this moment that he knew he [ __ ] up. You can say that you're finding you're, not really fine. You just can't get into it because a week that Rogers okay - I am officially no I'm not gon na - do that no more uh-uh no way Jose gon na wing it you guys I am not about to get a bob today. Okay, so I think I'm gon na go about this short. These layers should be fixable after that, no I'm gon na cut some of that hair off one point: cut it upwards just to blend everything out. You see this right here. This is stress, cutting don't do this at home. You guys, I kind of wanted to be a blunt thing right here. Oh, my god, this part it's depressing me out and then I'm just gon na take a little bit of this right here and just try to blend it to these two together. Okay, that looks pretty okay and then now this part, it's super hot gene. So I'm just gon na take half of that and I'm gon na just combine it with another part and just like try to blend it blend it together. Just a thin layer of that matcha part just to make everything blend. Just cutting it upwards like this and then hopefully, oh, I don't know why I'm talking like this is a tutorial. It is not i'm just freestyling on guys, thankfully, the other side are they're, not chopped, so this is the shortest part right here, I'm gon na combined. It with a longer portion and then instead of doing like that, I'm gon na cut it downward like this. Now I'm gon na continue with my plant here. This part, the short part gon na combined it with half of the long strands and try to blend that in together, diagonally. I think I want these front pieces a little bit shorter, as you guys can see. This is not a tutorial. Okay, I'm just gon na wing this right now, because I have no other choice. Okay, so that seems pretty. I like that, and then I'm gon na take this top section right here. Just make it a little bit shorter. Now I'm gon na take the back part, see this in a point: cut this upwards. Okay! I was very worried in the beginning, but now I feel like I'm getting some hold back. Oh don't really hate this. So, as you guys can tell everything, is looking a mess right now, I'm just gon na clean everything, up, dial it and yeah see how this goes all right. So, as you guys can see, it is a little bit shorter, a little bit more layers. Is it a disaster? No is it good, no hope going in with some heat protective spray very important, especially another shirt, so you guys can see the actual hair there we go. Oh, I do not know how it looks like as a whole, but in the viewfinder it looks kind of cute. This looks cute. Look like Willy freakin Wonka fall to 6 days, late, L. Now this is a couple of days later I felt like I wanted avid emption of the way that I styled my hair, but I feel like I just wanted to give you guys. Another result. Another end result, because that was a disaster. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and, if you guys made it this far, thank you so much for watching little me with. What I noticed is you took too much hair the second cut and didn’t direct the hair on the bottom of your head up high enough, you just directed it to the side lol you did a great job yourself though it turned out great!!

Kim Wold: The angle you did on the front was lower than she did, that's why it came out shorter than hers on the front. The hair in the front you have to pull it upwards around 45 degrees, you did like a 90 degree angle
