Hey everyone welcome to my channel. I am summer, I'm so excited for today's video a few weeks ago, a month ago, whatever I did a fun shag haircut tutorial and I thought it would be fun to show you how I like to kind of tweak things when going from long to shorter hair. I had mentioned that in that video on whether or not that's something you guys wanted to see, and a few of you answered in the comments saying yes, so I'm just gon na get her shampooed and that way I can get her sectioned off and we'll get Right into the haircut okay, so now that we have her sectioned off we're going to start with our cutting, so she already has sort of a curtain bang formed. So one thing I did in the original shag haircut was. I showed you guys how I created that curtain bang, so you can feel free to check out that video I'll post the time stamp to where I start that in the description below. If you want to check it out - and it was a little bit shorter than where this curtain bang is so, I'm gon na keep the curtain bang where it's at and we're just gon na use that as our guide for basing off the rest of this haircut And then again, because this hair is longer, I'm going to show you how I sort of cut some of the hair out of the way first, just because I'm working with extra long, hair or extra thick long hair, it can be a little annoying. So sometimes I will remove a bulk of it beforehand, just to make my life easier. So with this haircut I'm doing the same thing, I'm going to be bringing all of this hair forward and meeting it to my guide. So we've got all this extra length down here that is going to be cut so to make it a little easier for me to work with I'm just simply going to comb everything forward, and I can see where my guide is here. So we are literally removing quite a bit of length, but I don't want to just come in and cut that dead on. I like to leave a little bit of hair to work with so we're pulling down. I see my guide there and I'm just gon na come straight across the bottom and cut removing all that extra length. Again, you can adjust more but um to be on the safe side. Leave it a little longer at first just in case, if you accidentally cut too short or something so we're going to come in and take our first guide so, like I said, we've already got that curtain bang form that we're using as our guide to match up. So it's going to cut into a lot more hair around the face to give it sort of that, like Shaggy, really heavy face, framed, look and we are going to start cutting so we're gon na pull straight out towards us, normally you're standing in front of the Client, if you're doing this in Salon or at home, I'm obviously standing a little off to the side, so you guys can see and we're just gon na start evening out to this guide here we're creating a little bit of an angle. Here, I'm not coming straight down with it, I'm pulling out just a little bit and point cutting into where that guide is. So you can do this haircut too, with a razor if you're comfortable with that um I like to raise her at my ends. To just add that extra texture, I have never been one to do my full haircut with a razor personally, so, if you're comfortable with a razor by all means, this is the perfect haircut to use a razor and then because I don't use a razor, I'm just Going to come in and do some light Point cutting after I cut each section just to keep it nice and soft. So next section I'm doing about a quarter to a half an inch clipping the hair out of the way we're combing down and I'm going to even take a little bit of this middle section. Just so, I've got better control of seeing my guide and point cut into that. Taking our next section again create a little bit of elevation by pulling out and cut so, like I said in that original shag, I did, it is a much shorter Bang um. This is where I'm playing off of what she already had that curtain bang, but it's really going to shape up and face frame around her face a little bit more. Creating more of that lived in look but she's got a little longer of a bang and again you're, coming all the way to your front section here and continuing to pull that hair forward and then we're going to move into our sides in just a second foreign. Now that we have the front piece come, you can stand again directly in front of your client, I'm at this weird angle, but you would bring it to the middle to make sure they're lining up, and then I'm just going to slightly point cut into this. On the ends to soften it up a little bit and then I'm gon na of course go through and do a ton of dry cutting. If you've watched any of my videos, you know I love the dry cutting so now that we have the front section done. What we're going to do is we're going to come into our sides and you can start with whichever side you prefer. Okay, so to take our first side section, we're just gon na come right along the face, take a small section. So that way, you keep control and can see your guide and again. If you want to come in and remove some of this length, you certainly can because look at how much we're going to be bringing up in the front we're going to be pulling this out and you've got all that extra hair that you can choose to cut Off especially, I find if the hair is finer, it's easier to work with. I feel like when somebody has super crazy, thick hair, which this type of haircut is ideal, for it's easier to remove some length. It just makes it less that you got ta work through. So before I take my section actually I'm going to bring everything forward and I'm not going to cut straight across, like I did in this front, because I am going to do a slight angling around the face. So I'm just going to bring this down come down and just angle. Okay, so just come in angle down a little bit removing some of that length. So that way, you have a little bit less hair that you've got to work through and then again we're just going to take our section right along the hairline clip the rest of this hair back out of the way and we're gon na cut so again, you're Going to be standing directly in front of your client and you're going to be bringing everything towards you and where, in the front here, I was going straight across. I'M just going to very, very slightly angle, my hands because I want to create a natural flow falling down. So it's not such a hard blunt line, especially around the corner. Here I feel like if you go straight across it just gets a little too. I don't know I don't like the way that it looks honestly. So I like to angle my hands just a little bit. Okay, so we're going to take our first section and you're going to slightly angle your fingers down and you can even kind of pull a little towards you to ensure you're. Creating that angle and point cut into that so again pulling towards you keep those hands at a little bit of an angle and cut. So again, this haircut is going to be removing a ton of length right around the face to get that nice, Shaggy look and now we're just going to take our next section foreign. So come at the top of your section again, pull over and lightly towards you. While angling your hands, so as you move further back on your section on your sides, you're gon na see more length coming in because you're creating that angle and then as we get as we work our way to the back I'll show you how we're going to Blend in the back with the sides coming from the top come forward angle cut and you can even choose to sliver down if you want a little bit as you get towards the last two sections for your sides. Thank you, okay, so and again when you're cutting the sides, you're still going to be standing directly in front of the client. I have her at an angle, so I could cut it a little bit better, but you would be right in front of the client and then we're just going to repeat this same exact steps on this other side. Again, I'm going to come in and remove just a little bit of length for each section just so it makes it a little easier to work with again I'm going to angle my hands down just a little bit here and come up from the bottom of your Section and cut into it - and I am using the fine side of my comb to take my section down into cutting again comb everything from the top towards you and we're curving our hands just a little bit here, foreign moving to the back, I'm just going to Check my sides so again, you would stand directly in front of your client, pull everything towards the center and cut where you need. Okay, so now that we have our front done, we're going to move into the back and what I'm going to do. First is figure out where I want to blend in her sides, so one of the biggest things with the difference between this and the other one I did the other one. I was trying to leave the length in the back this one. I am fine with losing it and matching it up. We'Re still going to have some length here kind of in this little middle area. This is going to look a lot more Shaggy mullet-esque is how I like to describe it. So what I'm going to do to blend in the sides is I'm just going to part it right down the middle in the back, push that hair forward and again it doesn't really matter which side you start with to blend in okay. So I'm just going to clip this hair because there's a lot of length and I'm going to spin her to the side. What we're going to do is we're going to take small sections from the back at a time and bring it forward and just match up with your front sides. So again, you can use a razor for this, your regular scissors, whatever you're comfortable with okay. So we have our guide is right here. So I'm just going to angle my fingers, I'm going to take my shears and literally just sliver down and cut enough as I go so next section client side of your comb down with it meet where your last section was and sliver down and again you can Use a razor if you want for this, whatever you're comfortable with and you're just going to keep taking your sections from the back until you have reached your middle and then repeat on the other side, foreign. I see my guide here sliver and then I like to just sort of bring the hair down along the sides. I don't like to really stand in front of the client to do it or behind them. I just find coming right in at their shoulder. Is the easiest way to blend just my God and then sometimes like I did on the other side I'll come in with my Razor and just lightly, raise her down to soften it. Give me that good reaction, all right and now we are going to cut our back layers, okay, so to come in and cut our back layers. What I'm going to do is take my first section to set my guide so right in the middle of the head. Push that hair forward, okay, so to set your guide for your back layers, you're going to take from your top layer for your front, we're going to pull it straight up and take a guide from our back layer here and we're coming. What you're going to do is you're going to pull out straight from the roundness of the head, so each section as you go down the head you're going to be coming straight out: 90 degrees from the roundness of the head, so we're coming up. There'S my guide cut drop that front section. Take your next guide coming out from the roundness of the head; cut drop your top guide and you're just going to repeat the same pattern, all the way down the head, and it just creates a nice shape. As you move down with getting a lot of layers and working your way down to your length again, as you work your way down, you're going to change your angle a little bit because you want to come out from where that head is rounding. So we have a little bit of a curve going here, so I'm not coming straight up or straight out, I'm coming out from the roundness of the head. As I work my way down to my length, I'm going to angle my hands a little bit to start from the longest point and work my way into the shortest point angle. My scissors, I should say now we're at the bottom here so we're angling with the roundness coming down and cut. So after I get all these layers cut. What I'll do is refine the length if I need to, and we're just going to do this same exact pattern all through the head. So I'm going to take my next guide here, keeping the rest of this hair clipped out of the way, and I'm going to take a little from this middle guide to make my guide as I round on each side of the head. Thank you, foreign. To make sure you're taking guides that you can easily see through it makes it much easier and keeps it much more Blended. It'S coming all the way down to that very bottom length and just lightly cutting off that little bit on top foreign for right here. In the corner, at the ear gon na match up do the same thing: we've been doing for this whole back side foreign, it a little bit because she's gotten a little dry on me back to that middle guide. To create the guide for this last half. I didn't go over enough foreign, thank you, foreign and again we're pulling out from the roundness of the head clip out that top section of your layer. If you need to, if you find it to be easier and then again small enough sections that you can easily see your guide, thank you and then we're finishing right off here right in this corner by her ear, I'm gon na do the same steps, bring everything Up and cut with the roundness of the head: Okay, so we've got her cut everywhere and before I start my blow dry, I'm gon na opt to go in and just do a little bit of Razor work now, just to create a little bit more softness on Those ends and to get it a little bit more piecy, so the blow dry aspect you'll be able to see a little bit more movement with it. And if your client has a ton of hair and you're going to texturize them, it's better sometimes to do it when it's wet, because it's less hair you have to blow dry. So I'm just going to separate her um, nothing crazy, just starting from the back and working my way up, and this is totally optional - all personal preference, I'm just doing it this way to kind of create a little bit more pieciness, so she's lining actually up pretty Well back here, it looks like from angling the sides the hardest part - I would say, with this haircut - is blending in the sides to the back to match the length. This kind of creates a little bit of that v-shape um, which, if I'm being honest, isn't like my preferred favorite haircut. Look but a lot of people love it, and it really goes well with this type of cut when you're getting that super face. Framing lived in shagged pieces in the front, but you want to leave the length in the back. That'S where the v-cut comes in handy also, again, I'm just at random doing a little bit of Razor work. Nothing crazy! I'M just going very gentle with it! I'M not trying to really remove any length, just soften it up in some spots, foreign to know, if you guys can leave a comment below. What'S your preferred scissor method, you like or cutting method, I should say: do you like cutting with standard shears for most of your haircuts? Like I Do, Do You Love a razor? Let me know in the comments below what you guys prefer as far as cutting with this type of haircut, specifically too okay. So now I'm just gon na go ahead and get her styled and then we'll check everything I'll show you guys how I like to go and cross check things see if we need to remove any length back here and then we'll get finished up. Okay, so I have got her styled and she definitely needs a little bit of texturizing, especially in this bang area. I love this haircut, it's so fun to do and I wish more clients wanted this, but so let me turn her here. She'S got a lot of layers, obviously all around her face, but her bangs are just a little too heavy looking for me, but I want to show you the back too, before I cut into it. So we've still got length down here, so you do have that length and then lots of movement lots of texture. I want to texturize into this little top part, some more and maybe just in the middle, either with my thinning, shears or a razor and then from the side. You really see the mullet Vibes, but I love it. So this cut is especially fun too, because when somebody pulls their hair up, they're going to have those nice pieces falling along their face. So these we want to whisp up a little bit more. So I'm just going to go through do a lot of texturizing with my Razor and my thinning shears and maybe cut a little bit more layer in this middle section, we'll see so again, her bangs are just heavy. So I'm just going to come in with my Razor and I'm not putting a lot of pressure just enough to take out some of that hair and soften it up. A lot of I feel like this style of cut to get that pieciness and position the layers where you can really see the movement you want to go in with like a I love um, it's from AG, it's called their dry lift paste. I use that all the time, so I will link that below it's good for your first day here second day here it just kind of kicks around the hair, but it has some extra lift to it everywhere and it's got some hold. This side, especially, is really heavy and then her color. If you're interested. I did. I don't even know how, long ago, it's a Halo money piece so all along her hairline, I did foils and a little bit everywhere else just to blend it in and I'll link that video below. If you care to check that out too, to see how I created the color, if you are interested foreign right here in this top layer, I feel like is too bulbous looking for me. If you are checking your sides again, you're just going to stand directly in front of your client and pull everything towards the center to make sure it matches up. And then, if you want to once it's dry kind of look over, I want to cut here a little bit got sidetracked there. If you want to look over where the back length meets the sides, you surely can and you can either go in and sliver down again with your regular shears or with your razor, whatever you prefer, but that's lining up nice. So I did a lot of flips and movements with my blow dry for this and then I think she's good. This is a little thick looking for me, but that is mostly for some reason. They make mannequins hairline so freaking thick, and I just don't understand why and it pops out to the side, but I'm going to leave that I'll I'll. Do it just a little bit it's driving me nuts, when you can also for checking the back again, you would stand behind their head and pull everything towards the center to make sure everything is lining up nice but she's. Looking good I'm going to go ahead and put in a little bit of that dry lift paste, so you guys can see what it looks like styled and then we'll get settled here, all right! Everyone here we have our finish and final look again. I used AGS dry, lift paste to go through and give her some texture and pieciness with the product product is key with creating that lived in. Look after you have it dried and styled. She looks very similar to the original shag that I did. However, we've got a little bit longer of a curtain bang, but we went in and removed a ton of length that we originally had really cutting into those sides for a lot of movement, and we have a little bit more of a disconnect between the front and The back with tons of movement and layers everywhere with a nice slight v-shape I like to do regular scissors when cutting the bulk of this haircut and using my Razor to go in and add some texture and pieciness. You can certainly do the whole entire haircut with a razor. If you are comfortable with that, and let me know in the comments below what is your preferred method for cutting? Do you like the regular sheer or do you like the razor again, you can go ahead and remove a little bit of length like I did when I was cutting her sides if they have very, very long, hair and they're taking the length a lot shorter in The front obviously leave it a little bit longer at first, so you have more room to play around with, but I like doing that, especially on thicker, coarse hair types, I feel like it's just easier to work through the hair, so I hope you guys enjoyed this Week'S video, please ask any questions that you may have in the comments below I love talking to you guys. As always, please like share and subscribe, and I will see you guys next week.

H F: Yessss... nothing better than 80's layers & big hair. That look should've NEVER been out of style. Singers Taylor Dayne & Stevie Nicks rocked that look very well..

Adrianna: I love all retro hairstyles- they required lots of hard work but compared to what we have now-.........MASTERPIECES! <3

Kinga Krasucka: This is perfect! I have lots of (heavy) hair and it definitely is the cut I need right now. Thank you!!!

M: Had this style in high school in the 80s. I would also get a perm that helped make styling time much shorter and made for even bigger hair I've always loved the shaggy bed head cut/ look.

Connie A: Love this cut! I wished more stylist knew how to do it. I’ve asked for it before and they looked at me dumbfounded…

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: I'm a cosmetology school drop out but love restyling my wigs. This cut is great, thank you!

Angela Hagood: This is exactly the cut I want! (Maybe because I lived in the shag era) Maybe if I show this photo to my stylist she can duplicate it. Your highlights made the cut have more dimension. Fun video! Love how precise you are before, during and after the cut! A pro all the way!

Olivia Edralin: Your method is a lot easier to follow than a lot I’ve watched. Thank you for posting and sharing this ❤

regina gilley: Beautiful cut! I have always loved this cut.and am going to share your video for instruction! Thank you!!!

Teresa Smith: A beautiful cut! It's a style I rocked back in the day. You are a amazing stylist you have a gift.

Roo Bear: YES! THANK YOU, Summer for doing this cut! Just followed your"LONG HAIR | CURTAIN BANG TUTORIAL | LAYERS | FACE FRAMING | HOW TO" video last week on myself. This is my next step BTW, my fine hair clients are loving the Moroccan Oil products you reviewed!

Caren Quasha: I love doing wet cut first and I love finishing up with dry cut for all my haircuts . I love using the razor to give it a little texture .

Jane P: Beautiful cut. I did this cut and it’s one of my favs

Maria Gonzalez: Love it. You are great, thank you for showing this haircut, I'm thinking about having this style for my next haircut.

Yours Truly 78: What was the name of the cut the manikin had prior to cutting?

Caropa Paulab: I ❤️ it. I ❤️ to watch Summer tutorial... step by step. Really amazing .

Jerri Foster: Thank you so much!!!! When you styled it and turned her to the side, it was like looking at myself in 1984!! The only difference as to how my mom cut my hair, was my hair was much longer, down to the middle of my back. She would round the whole thing in back, and my bangs and top were much shorter, ( my bangs were always cut right under my brow),and the angle from my bangs to the bottom of my hair was very steep. The angle was not straight down, still had plenty of angle, but was not angled back as much as you did it, which of course shortens the length. When you said that you wished more clients would ask for this haircut, I was shouting “ME, ME!!” I want this haircut so very bad again, and I’ve allowed two people here in Texas to attempt it, and they just don’t get it!! I wind up with inches gone off my length, and the angle in front is wrong , all around, I just wind up with much shorter hair, and I cry for days, vowing I’ll never do it again. My hair has grown so slowly all of my life (except the top).. so it takes a couple of years for it to get the length back that I had. Anyway, I would blow dry the whole thing, with a half round brush, and by the time I was done, it was perfectly flipped back, and sleek, shiny and full of bounce. Then if I wanted extra lift and height, the curling iron came out!.. lol. How I wish you could cut my hair. I would absolutely trust you to do it!!. Thanks again for doing this video, and if I ever find someone at all around here, that I might trust to do it, your video will be the first thing they see!❤

TickledPink: LOVE THIS!!! I snapped screenshots and am going to ask a stylist to give me this haircut! You’re so talented!

MD Poe: I had this style in the early 80’s. Looked great at the hair studio, but I have a strong cowlick on one side that curled my hair into my eyes. So, I went for long and straight after that. No one ever seems to talk about cowlicks, and so many people have them.

THT: I love this hairstyle. I have a similar one, just a smidge shorter with the layers and bangs

Karla Calabrese: I absolutely love this! I want it!! I don’t think my hair is thick enough though! Thanks for sharing the video!!

Lloydell Miller: The reason I love that haircut is I have curly hair and I can blow dry the top and let the rest dry naturally or I can dry it all and style it. S I like that it looks good for a natural dry r styling. You do a great job. I like the money piece too!!

Sandra Sandoval: Love it great hair cut thank you so much for all your tutorials

M R: I like using my shears. Love the cut & having lots of layers. I don’t like the v-cut, the sides being shorter (not a fan of the mullet like look ) & I don’t like how it leaves the ends looking scraggly for myself since I have thinner hair. Thanks for sharing so cute!

Darcy Jett: Summer I love this cut, and I use a razor often. However I think this cut needs a smoother cut with scissors, and then “shag it up “ with a razor just like you did, especially if the clients hair is already a bit rough. The layers should lay pretty, and then textured. You are a good teacher because your instructions are very clear and visible! Thank you, Darcy

Jeri Reno: Love the way it lays,,I needed you about a week ago when I had my hair cut,,It was long now way shorter,,I ask for a long shag, layered hair cut ,YOU ARE AWESOME ,THANKS

Maria Mercedes: This has been my favorite haircut and no one has ever been able to do it. Thank you. It's beautiful

Christine Robe: Absolutely love it....I've never been trained to razor cut so I've enjoyed watching!!!

🎙SweetBre🌹: Omg I love this cut. I’m scared to do it myself. I did try the unicorn cut & love the long layers. I just want more fullness around my face.

Kathy Bridges: I love to do combo razor and shear! But I do love razor cuts! They are softer! I'm 70 years old and retired! I did hair for 25 years and loved it! You do a fantastic job of explaining and demonstrating!❤❤

Dorothy Puntarich: I love this haircut!!! BEAUTIFUL❤

Mary Cupano: Excellent video!! I use the razor... and have done this to my own hair.. It came out nice, A little like a Farrah cut. Thanks for this!

Rhonda Hudson: That is gorgeous, great job

Susan Hemme: LOVE this cut! Would it work as well with a side part? If I were near you, I come get it!

AllyRemi L: Super gorgeous hair cut!!!

Adriana Castaneda: Thank you so much , I've learned So Much From You I'm Berly starting in this Profession And All Your Videos Have Helped me A lot Blessings

Meredith Indermaur: Absolutely GORGEOUS and so flattering!

Angie: I prefer cutting with a razor but not every cut warrants it. I usually do all my shags with a razor to creat the wispy texture and blend. Love this cut thank you!

licorice2083: Hi Summer! My hair has some length now but it’s thinned out quite a bit as I’ve get aged and I was told is fine now. Would this style work for thin or fine hair?? Thanks hun!

Adha ղƒ: ♥️ this hair cut I’ve always wanted this cut but no one could ever do it for me. Love you. Wish you could cut my hair you are my perfect A star ⭐️ hairstylist

Debra Tatum: Exactly what you did is perfect Wish i could get you to do my hair.... Looks awesome ✌

ConnieMurphyOver70stillglam :) : ks for tyhe lesson. I just went back into the salon a month ago after 16 years. loving it :) connie

Donna Mills: Love this been looking for this cut you are great

Robin Jackson: LOVE that cut. Wish you were near me. I try to explain this cut, but no one does it right. ❤️

Karen Peters: Looks very nice! You are an excellent stylist!

Olivia Edralin: It’s great tutorial. I just subscribed. Thank you!

Ala 916: girl i jus found you and im in love with all the videos. cant wait to fix my hair lol

Jen M: My hair is super long... like to my butt long, I am so over it! I highlight my own hair & have just trimmed the very ends myself. I want something like this but just in longer lengths. looks amazing!

LeftCliq_: This cut was called The Louise at Toni & Guy back in the 90s. The most beautiful and flattering haircut. It's difficult to cut. They screwed my hair up trying to cut this style and I had to go to a short shag to fix it but it grew out beautifully. But I looked like Mrs. Brady for 6 months.

Jonie: I love this cut too Summer. It's a style loved by Goldie Hawn. It's very feminine and sexy..I'd love my hairdresser to do my hair this way, but she won't put in layers

Ruby Eakins: Love this haircut, just wondering can you do this cut on someone with really straight thin fine hair.

Ingrid As In Bergman: Love this. I’m going to do this to a wig I own

pastrypinktea: That is a really cool haircut! Is there any maintenance to this haircut to keep it looking styled or if not will it look naturally like when you styled it at the end? And is there any particular face shapes that would suit this haircut? What if I (the client) don't style the curtain bangs or the hair will it look flat or will it look kind of styled? Would the curtain bangs create any heaviness to the front? Will this haircut make me look younger? I have medium thick hair.

Catherine Cillier: Beautiful !❤️good job

Sandra Simpson: Great video!! I have very fine lifeless hair but quite a lot of it. I’ve been told by a couple hair dressers that my hair is too fine for this look. Do you agree with this analogy? Thanks in advance Summer

_NIAHT: Absolutely love!!!!!! I want this haircut

Esmeralda Leon: I love it ❤

angela warren: Would of loved to see how you went about styling and drying this cut also

Mona Farhang: I love this style, wonderful

Rushka Gora: It's more easier understanding this kind of haircut ,l like the way how you're explaining thank you

Conejita Carreño: I love this hair cut!!!

Collette Lawton: I love to use razor for these cuts, it seems like a lot more work having to cut with shears and then going back with a razor . And I don’t ever like using a razor on dry hair, to me it seems like too much damage to the hair.

1 Weazy: I luv this haircut! I think it pretty much would look good on anybody!

Hair🥂today: Summer ❤ you are best woman stylist on YouTube .. love it all and the consistency

Amberly Xochimitl: Thank you!! This was amazing

Olivia Edralin: I usually start off w razor esp the crown and sides for softness and texture but get more control w scissors .. but I use both

Fantasia P: I showed this cut to my hairdresser and my hair was far from looking like this from bum length to shoulder cut. I Never went back to a hairdresser for a haircut ugh it's so hard to look for a good one.

RILEYOFTHEWEAK: I don't cut hair. I have very thick. I love this cut . I always had my hair with layer with V angle in back. Put hot rollers. Today it's so hard to find great hair dresser. Maria Mercedes: Honestly that was my last haircut in a Salon about 20 years ago my hair was so chopped and i went to a professional stylist that i knew for years . He was so talented but it was bad.

Glenda Ehrle: I always use a razor when cutting my own hair. I also cut my hair dry so I can see how short it is.

Rymaveg: I love it. ❤

Rosa Sanchez: beautiful cut! I loved it I want that cut!!

kimbee2006: I have very long hair/middle of my back. I want to cut my hair myself because I am unemployed. I would like to cut it similar to Kate Middleton's hair with light layers, the biggest problem I have is getting it straight in the back. Can you do a video on how to cut long hair at home? Can I just do layers by pulling it forward from a back center part? Any information would be great and very helpful!

Benita Cleveland: LOVE THIS!! I have had my hair like this for years!!!! Where are you located!! Would love for you to be my hairdresser!! What kind of mouse do you use for volume (for big hair ) Wish you showed how to use the texture scissors more. The razor damages my hair, more split ends. Would love to see how you blend gray hair with dark roots or more ideas for ladies getting more gray. You do a wonderful job. Thank you so much for this one. You are a great teacher!! I loved the other shaggy video too. Happy Fall

Damonica Jones: That's a sexy haircut...it has so much versatility and style. You are a great teacher ⭐thank you for creating your channel.

I am retired now and have not done hair for many moons since I went into teaching preschoolers. Thank you so much for your tutorial. do you also teach hair color? would like to review since now there are so many different methods of coloring hair.

Stephanie Essex: Cute, I love the color.

Marsha: Would you use the razor to texturize a person with fine hair in texture but has a lot of straight hair?

Susan Chavez: Can this be pushed or curled back? For a more modern feathered look? That's what I'm looking for and like you, less face framing. If you can do a video on this that would be Awesome! Thanks!

Iris Rivera: I love ❤️. !!!!!! this what I want !!!!! ..and no one seems to do it
