Foreign, hey love, so i am back and i have a new video for you. So today's video i wanted to show you how you can thin out a thick or too dense lace, front wig. So if you guys are interested to see exactly how you can do this, how you can transform or turn your very thick, dense wig to a natural looking wig then definitely keep watching this video now, the wig that i will be doing this tutorial on is from Oxy girl, hair, i received a lace front wig, the texture is body wave and the length is 18 inch now. The density on this wig is 150 percent, but i feel that the density is more around the hairline when it should be in reverse. It should be, the density should be within the middle and the back of the wig. So you guys, if you ever get this type of wig, where it's really thick really dense around the hairline. The hairline is not looking as natural as you want it to be. I'M going to show you guys, step by step on how to change this okay. So the first thing that i'm showing you is i've already went in and start plucking out the hairs around the hairline. As you can see, there's a complete difference from one side of the wig to the other side of the wig. Now the wig, the way that it came to me, it was packed with a lot of hair around the hairlines. I think they only pre pluck the wig just a little bit so in order to change this and make that wig, then out, you will definitely need a very good pair of tweezers. The tweezers that i am using is from amazon. I can't remember the brand name, but i will try to put it down below in description section. So the first thing that i'm doing i actually did not wet the hair on the wig first, because i wanted to see exactly where i will be plucking the hair. Now you can still go in and wet the hair first, then tweeze, but to see exactly how much hair to take out. I suggest, if you are experienced with plucking your lace frontals is to go in and do a dry run. So i'm going in with the pair of tweezers and i'm plucking first, the very front of the hairline and i'm basically taking out that demarcation line. And then after i did that i kind of parted where the baby hairs is supposed to be at. And then i go back in and plug some more, so the way that you plug or the way that you thin out your wig or your lace frontal is you guys do it in sections? The best method is to start off on the sides and then do the front of the hairline, and that's exactly what i did. I parted off one side and i'm skipping in between sections well skipping in between different parts of these sides. You don't want to pluck too much in one area you want to kind of like sporadically, go uh from one point to and then skip a point and then go to the next point and vice versa. So that's exactly what i do. I'M doing um also another thing that you definitely should do is do not just part one or two parts on the area that you're supposed to be plucking. You want to kind of go further back because the reason for this a lot of times you don't have to do this. If the wig is already pre-plucked, you might only have to part the hair, maybe like one or two times, pluck it and then you're done, but because that the wig is so dense and it is really thick. You will probably have to maybe part the hair about three four times and go in and pluck all the hairs out now i did pluck you guys. I mean it took me about close to an hour to get this wig to thin out, and i would suggest definitely taking your time. You definitely do not want to cause holes. You definitely do not want to rip your lace because that's a whole another issue right there, but yeah so just go in and just keep plucking keep plucking make sure that you're combing out those hairs that you did plug to kind of see exactly how the hairline Looks now i continued to do the same process until i saw that the hairline looked. You know as natural as i wanted it to be, or uh just a lot better than what it was um before so after i went in and plucked the hairline, i did spritz it with water just to cut out some more of the baby hairs. I did trim the baby hairs and i used my uh edge brush, slash comb and i kind of like you know, position the baby hairs of where i wanted it. So you guys um just continue to watch the video. I do want to tell you my experience with wearing this wig. Like i stated before i the wig the hairline. I definitely recommend that they change the hairline on this wig. I recommend that they go in and pre-pluck it some more also just to make that uh. The hairline a little bit more denser, it does not need to be that packed with a lot of hair um. I i like the uh texture of the hair. Like i said it is a body wave texture. The hair is very soft. There was no smell or odor. I really didn't get a lot of shedding um. I did get a little bit of tangling with this hair, but not as much, but once i went in and pre-plucked that hairline and thinned it out. This is exactly how the wig looks. So what i'm doing now is installing the wig onto my head. I did use some got to be gel to lay the front of the hairline down. I did notice that this wig was a little bit too short around the temples of the wig, so i did have to go in and fix that issue. So after i installed the wig on my head and laid the hairline down with some got2b gel. The next thing i'm going to do is just go in and part the hair and style it. I decided to do a middle part. I did notice with the parting on this wig. It does not go back very far um. I think i probably maybe got me about two to three inches of parting space, but i will show you guys how you can fix that if you ever get a wig and it does not have a lot of parting space, you can make the part longer, and I will show you guys later on in the video, but right now i'm styling the wig. I am using my curling wand and i'm just putting some loose curls in it. I kind of want a long, layered look and the hair did curl very good. I did have to use some. What do you call those duck clips to make sure that those curls stayed in place and i did use some holding spray now uh. What you see me showing now is, i am using the cure care wax. Stick. I think it's. What that's, what it's called or styling wax stick to make. That part lay a little bit flatter because, as i told you guys before, the lace frontal on this wig is very dense. So i'm using that and then i'm using my curling wand, to lay down the part and the last step that i'm going to do is show you guys how you can make that part even longer, and all you need is your face powder that matches your skin Tone have a small makeup brush and just go ahead and pack a little bit of that powder into that part, and it will make that part longer. I really hope you guys enjoyed this really quick tutorial. If you have any questions or comments, leave them down below. In description section, i just want to say thank you so much for watching. ToshPointFro: This is super helpful and you did a good job showing the difference before and after. Especially with the hair line. I just got a new wig that makes me look like lily galichi and it needs to be thinned out BAD. ♥️♥️♥️

Brenda Morton: Love this tutorial! This one is by far the best one I've seen on thinning out the hairline. I'm actually going to try this today on an older wig that I love, but have not worn because it looks so thick. Thanks so much for the video, I will definitely be utilizing your advice!!

Dime Store Deva: Thank you for presenting a professional video. You got straight to the point, no rambling. Thank you! Thank you !

Samantha L.: I got a 13x6 and it was just way too big and ended up cutting the lace back into the hair line and this really helped make it look a lot more realistic !

Kierra Malone: The unit looks so realistic after you plucked it. The density seems good.

Genevieve Sosnowski: You really know what you're doing. I was very impressed. Thank you.

Dottie Free: Looks so soft and natural! Can you show more plucking on the top and full bang area? My wig is way too dense, thick, and poofy. Thanks, Shay!

fulloflife9: You made it look natural. Beautiful

Tricia Willis: Shaygood morning and a happy New Year to you and your family. I was looking at your tutorial thus morning n i was so impressed.
