I took a leap of faith and cut off all my naturally-curly hair. I've wanted a pixie hair cut for years but worried about the maintenance, constant haircuts and how it would look with curly hair. I'm so pleased I did it. If you want to see the after, go to 1:34

So I'm gon na get a pixie cut tonight, I'm nervous and excited. I wanted one for a really long time. I have a Pinterest board with tons of ideas and finally, I just decided that it's now or never. If I want to grow it out, I need to get it going in case. I don't like it, but I think I will I'm really excited, I'm I'm a little maintenance kind of girl and if I get the right cut, I think that it could really work with my lifestyle. I love my curls, but most of the time I just haven't. Muff in a ponytail I wake up looking kind of crazy, sometimes because I got a lot of breakage up here here on the side it doesn't grow very evenly, so it does require a lot of haircuts, which I know a pixie does as well to keep it Maintained, but I think that I might just have some fun with it for a little while, so this is my before video and I wanted to show you my hair styled. I have kind of a ringlet curl pattern. Very, very fine, you'll see here. I don't have a lot of think God for volume, but I don't have a lot of hair and it itself the texture is very fine. I also get different textures. I get along the bottom here, a little bit longer, wavier curl and then in the back hearing. It a little bit more ringlets and so yeah, so I wanted to style it so here's the after I did it. I got my curly pixie cut, pretty tight on the sides and then tapered on the back and we left a little length of top just so I can have something to play with and styling and give me some volume, I'm going to do a little turn here And show you the sides, so I was really happy with my stylist she's from Hawthorne salon in Jacksonville and she took her time and listened to what I asked and my level of management and sorry you'll hear my little munchkin playing around in the bathroom. While I shoot the video but yeah, she did a really good job and took her time. So that was important to me and initially she had a little longer on top kind of more of a side sweep. It still felt like a lot of maintenance, and so I asked her to go shorter to ensure that it's kind of still playful and feminine, but not super high maintenance, so I'll keep filming and talking about styling and how I'm getting along with my pixie cut. But my husband likes it, which is great. I just I'm really happy with it. It feels really fresh and clean Thanks.

Mochi Star: Shorter hair definitely works for you. Very youthful and cute! You could try rocking a rosey colored lipstick or gloss, and some blush to really amp your look up even more!

Holly Miller: I love it! I want something similar! I also have very fine, curly hair.

buzzr0215: The end result looks REALLY cute on you. :D
