Hi everyone thank you for stopping by just a girl and her wigs. My name is Heather, and I am so happy that you are here to check out this little discussion, slash review on this style. This is Sparkle Elite. It Is by Raquel Welch. It is in the color SS golden wheat and, as you can see, it does have a dark root. I will tell you that sometimes the lighting can make the roots seem darker than what they really are, but I will do some photos outside, so you can kind of see what it looks like outside a natural light. Um. This weighs 2.25 ounces and it's uh the nape on it, and I always talk about the nape on short styles, if you've ever watched other reviews on some of my um short styles. I always talk about the nape, because the nape is always short, so some people get concerned about that if they have bio hair, but the nape is 1.75 inches long and I say long, but it's short anyways um. If you want to wear a short style, I have a bio hair that does come down a little bit on the neck. I just shave that off that way, you cannot see the bio hair through the back of the wig, so you do have that option. If you do want to wear a short style and um, you have a longer nape bio hair back there I'll go ahead and do a spin on this. This is my left, and this is the right. As you can see, this style has a little bit of that poof that um that profile back here in the back. This style does have permatease and that permatease is all up top here, and that gives you that volume and that lift back there and it um. Just gives you, the the um makes the style be more, have more volume, it does have permatease right in through here and again, that is to um keep the fibers lifted and it does uh. Keep the um. Keep you from being seen see-through to the wefting on this style. I um always talk about like the nape and the ear coverage, because I know a lot of people want to have um coverage across the ear. This does offer that I typically on this style. I would just take a little bit of this and I will comb it or put it back and then just kind of pull that forward. But you can kind of see that it still does offer some sort of security. Because I like to have a little bit - and I call it security - I don't know why. But I call it security, but I like to have a little bit of security across my ears. I don't like the ear just to be um with no hair down the cross of it, and I just typically leave this side straight forward, just kind of gives it a little bit of a different different look um. This does have the full mono top and the lace front the lace front, and I will show you the under tie. The cap at the lace front starts about the middle of the ear Tab and it just runs to the other middle of the ear tab on the other side and the monotop is across the top um. You could style this any way that you wanted to. You could probably put it in the middle. You could put it on this side because it does have that full mono top. I um part on this side because I'm a left to right uh part. However, when I got the style this come to me, and this is the way the fibers wanted to lay so that worked perfect for me, but I just want to make sure other people know that you could part this the other direction and you might have to Um train it just a little bit. You could use some product in it. I think this would be a very cute style to put um some peace out cream. Some wig wax in there and just kind of you know Jazz it all up for me. I, when I wear this style, I just spray it with a little bit of water, and I just finger through it, and then I just put it on make sure that the ear Tabs are lined up, make sure mine. The nape is where it needs to be. In the hairline and then I'm out the door, because this is such a simple style to wear, it is not heat friendly, uh Raquel Welch offers two Sparkles, but one is a Sparkle with no uh lace features on it, whether it be in the front or the Top and then she offers this one right here, this one offers all the lace features. It is not hand tied and neither are heat friendly, Styles um. So I just like to make sure I caution you on that. I will go ahead and take off the wig and I will show you the underside of the wig. I wear a wig grip every time that I wear a wig. I do not glue any wigs down. I just wear a wood grip and my wig grip is from Amazon and I will show you a little bit about it. This right here has the lace, and then it has lace that starts here, and it goes across. This is Velvet and in the back is Velvet and it fastens uh with a velcro closure. I like this style because the I like the lace in the front, but I also like to wear this, and I just shift it over to the left. If I'm wearing a um mono part wig - and I just line up this right here with the monopart on the wig and that just gives it a little bit more of um - the scalp look but anyways - I just wanted to let you know about that and again I buy these at Amazon if you're interested in knowing um are getting the link. I'M gon na try to leave it below so that you can actually click on it and you will be able to see the the um grip. I will show you the inside of this cap. Now I will tell you, I am one of those people who take out my um tags on some of my wigs. I do that because I feel like that um. Sometimes they can be bulky and they can stick through the back of the wig and then they can be seen. So I just take them out. I just know what my styles are um, and so I and I put wigs back in the box. If I don't, if I don't wear them frequently, so I just put them back in the box with the um tags. So that way, I know what wig it is, but anyways this um wig offers a um extended nape, it is um velvet lined. It does offer uh the metal stays back here. So if you are one of those ladies who appreciate the metal stays, this does have that it does velcro closures and, as you can see, I'll show you the back of the way, but there's all the the back of the wig. And when I talked to you about the um lace, you can see that the lace runs right to there, which is about the middle of the ear tab. So it runs from there all the way across to the other side I'll go ahead and show you the front. When I talk to you about permanentees. This right here has the permatease, and you can kind of see that that right there is that your crown of your head, this right here is the mono top and again, this is your lace, and I can kind of kind of that way too. So I feel like it's very well done some people say to me: hey Heather, how do you put on your wig? I just tell them, and so I just wanted to make sure I share that with you. I just take it by the back right here and I just gently pull it on. I use my ear tabs as a guide and I just take the ear tabs and I just pull them up just a little bit. I take the back and I just pull that down where it's supposed to go. I line up my ear tabs and then just make sure that's lined up properly too. I wanted to say that I never ever um take my wig off like that, regardless. If it's a basic cap or one that offers a lace, front features or a monotop or anything, I feel like that. You could potentially um damage the lace. You could maybe stretch it it could you could accidentally rip it. So I just always caution if you do have those kind of, if you have a wig that has the lace front features and in the mono top just to use your ear tabs and use that as a guide in an adjustment. Again, when I talk about things in my videos, it's just my opinion and My Views, but I like to just let people know that those are things that I think about. If you take it and you just grab it and pull it off, you could potentially damage that lace and then it might not work for its intended purpose. You know when you're trying to wear the wig, so I just wanted to let you know that again. This is called Sparkle Elite, It Is by Raquel Welch. It is in the color SS golden wheat and I do a little bit of a tuck right there. You could wear this with barrettes. You could put off your face. You could put a headband on it. You could part it in any direction you want to, so I feel like that. It does offer a lot of possibilities, it's cute and short, and it's lightweight. I do appreciate everybody being here. If you have enjoyed this video or gained any kind of information that you were looking for for this style, please give me a thumbs up. You can leave me a message in the comment section and if you want to share it, please feel free to share. I hope you all have a great day and thank you so much for being here.
