Thinning Annette Wig By Jon Renau In Palm Springs Blonde

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and I hope you're all doing good today, um you're wondering what do I have across me. Well, I have a towel because I'm gon na attempt to thin this wig while I filmed so if it doesn't turn out, I just simply won't post it. So I'm gon na get started on that and, as I made the mistake the other day, this is the real Annette Wig by Jon renau and it's Palm Springs blonde so anyway, um. What I'm going to start out by doing is that, when you're thinning, I'm gon na have to look over here at my my mirror, because this is backwards and I'll never succeed. But what you want to remember is that when you're you know cutting like, I want to kind of thin this part out um. Well, you don't want to cut cut the top layer because you want something for the. Let me show you so what I'm going to do see I'm going to keep all these bangs separate, so I'm gon na take this oops okay, and what I'm gon na do is just take one of these things and clip it over. Okay, I don't know how I'm going to do this, but this is a first for me. I kind of wanna put that back too, because okay, so then I'm gon na take this little layer. Now these are scissors that I got at Sally's. You never want to use good scissors on synthetic wigs because it will ruin them, and so I just went to Sally's and bought the cheapest thinning shears and let's see you want the serrated or you know the soft part you want it facing the scalp. So let me see, am I yeah that's right, and so you just kind of take it right here. You see why I can't do this see I got some hair. Well, I think it shows up better yeah there you go anyway, so I'm gon na have to hair everywhere and I'm going to move my keyboard, so it doesn't get all messed up. Then you're gon na take this that you just cut and you're gon na pin that back and then I'm going to do this again. Okay, let's see and do the same thing one two three. I think I got that second, okay, okay, I'm gon na have hair everywhere and I think, let's see I'm gon na do this. Well, I have it pinned up. Let me do this. Oh look at that. You think you're not cutting very much, but you really are so see that lays over the part that you cut so yeah see the difference between the two sides. That'S awesome, Jeanette you're doing pretty good but anyway. So then, let's see okay where's, my little bangs we're going to do the same same yeah, that's right same thing over here, I'm just gon na still got something back there clipped. Okay, all right! Let me just all right: okay, we're gon na kinda! Do this too! This is what I want: okay, we okay, oh all, right all right! Take that part. I drop it before I'm ready to so. Okay, I'm gon na do this back here. Okay, see this is a real, dense wig. So sometimes you have to do that. Oops, okay and this wig is a let's see. I was thinking it was a lace front, but it's not so that's okay, then I'm going to kind of hold that and I'm gon na go back so with as much as I'm gon na think that it may not look any different. I don't know, but I think it does make sure I get all that hair out. I don't know what it's going to look like in the back, but uh I'll, find out when I review this wig in real life, but uh anyway. I I think this wig is a mono yeah. It does have a lace front. I thought it did. That'S how easy it Blends in you can see this. It has the light uh the monofilament, which means you can part it on either side and then that's let's see, let me hold that where you can see the lace see. All of that is lace, lace. Let me kind of get this up here. You know I've become very bold, haven't I I have such a little head that the whole thing still getting hair all all over him. I have to go outside and shake off, but we'll do that at another time. Okay, so again we'll kind of shut and that's another thing you want to do anytime, you get a new wig, just shake it shake it. It wakes up the fibers and actually, while I have this off, I'm going to make it a little looser, because I think this was an average size. Some say it does say what it sounds so. But I have this cap on because my own hair is getting kind of long and it sometimes sticks out so having that on kind of makes the wig bit tighter. So and yes, this is how it looks. So when you first get a wig, don't you don't? Don'T be scared, and then you know what what that is is um. All of this is lace front, but the hairs are growing out of it. So let me make sure I have that in the right position and you you want to just as Patty Pearl Patty's pearls will say, press and print just to hold it 30 seconds, but I've never done that. So let me I like this kind of brush. It just seems like so you want to pull all these out, then you can kind of get it in place, and I find that if you do this kind of put your fingers to the base of the cap, not inside the cap and just bring it down And it kind of gives it a little and see by doing that, pulling those out you see where there right here, that's the wig, so it looks okay and uh. You can see as much I mean I have. I have this much hair that I took out. So you can see, I could probably do some more and maybe later on, but you know I'd rather do it in baby steps than anything else and see some people like to tuck, I'm not much of a Tucker, but because this is coming out from here. You can do that and it's still okay still looks you know like your own hair and that kind of kind of gives a more narrow profile too or yeah profile. It'S just a different look. Let me get my glasses back on I'm going to have to do some vacuuming when I get through and usually what I'll do is I'll take my glasses and that kind of gets any Strays out of your eyes. So what we're still talking about the wig um? You can uh part this. Let'S see I want to do it most. Wigs have a left part, because this has a monofilament part. You can part it anywhere you want, but you do have to train it to go that way. So you kind of can change the look like that, but um I don't have my teeth and come, but sometimes you can well, but that kind of makes it look like every other wig that I have so I've kind of found that, because I am doing it In the middle I kind of trained it to go that way and uh. I think I got this side a little shorter. Maybe I need to do a little more over there, but I'll do that another day anyway. So moving forward. Let'S take this off. I just kind of kept that from I'm just going to throw that over the back and fluff it out later. As far as my earrings, these I got on Nordstrom's every. I think it's August that Nordstrom's has their sale and you can get some really nice things for less money, and these are Kate Spade and they have a little Stone in the middle. My wig has not allowing me to see see that um, but in the middle. It'S gold see there we go, I have to concentrate, you can kind of see it, but I really enjoyed those and this necklace is from Dean Davidson and it's the birthstone necklace and they were had those on sale. So it's the only piece of Dean, Davidson jewelry that I own, but I love his jewelry. Then I wanted to another thing I wanted to talk to y'all about was how did I start my YouTube channel? Well, to begin with, I got a Mac TV computer and it was so easy. I just I really people who have stayed with the HP or any other. I just feel like. Sometimes they miss out. Excuse me I had to like the stemming. I don't know if that affects the video we'll find out, but anyway um. So I got that and when I first got an iMac, it had iPhoto and it was so easy to make videos and add music, and I was just in my heaven and uh. Fortunately, I have always loved the computer. I did not fight it when I had to learn how and I never took lessons or that I've learned word the office. What is it called the office where you have the Excel and Word document and several ex uh? What is that that I can't think of it anyway? You know what it is: it's been around forever and so I started making those videos and the main reason I started. My YouTube channel was because, like I have mentioned, I have two daughters living out of state and only one here in Texas, and so we would have family parties and my grand my oldest grandson lives here too, thank goodness and um uh. You know I would take a lot of pictures at Christmas and birthdays and Thanksgiving and just whatever was happening in our family, where there was a group of people, and I would make a video - and I found that if I posted it on YouTube that it was Easier if I tried to email someone a a video, it was too big, too large, and so it was just convenient to put it on there and then they could and usually I would just post the YouTube video on Facebook and then they would be able to See it and it that was all a matter of convenience in downloading, when I started the YouTube channel, I had no idea people were doing what I'm trying to do right now, and I was just oblivious to that. It was just a nice tool for me to do this and then um I started wearing wigs. Probably I think I've mentioned about 10 years ago. It'S just hard to pinpoint because there's been times I've tried and just kind of didn't stay with it, but now exclusively I do this but um. So my channel before was just Jeanette Carroll, and so I got to thinking I thought you know I I kind of want to do what all these ladies are doing and people my age there's a number of people that are doing it and it's just um. You know when you get older, sometimes you become the invisible person I mean. I can't explain that what I mean by that, but it's like your day has been done and it's not that you give up on life. I don't mean that at all um, it's just that um. We have to kind of reinvent ourselves sometimes, and actually I'm learning a lot about myself by doing these videos and some of the little quirks that I have - and I had one lady so just a treasure of a person because she was brave enough to tell me To stop being so negative and I realized I thought you know I am negative about myself and you know uh. I had many things to be grateful for I get many compliments on my complexion. Even here you know people will tell me you know. Oh you, you have such beautiful complexion. Well, you know without the makeup it isn't. Is it it isn't one it appears to be, but I am blessed that I don't have a lot of. I mean I have sags, but I don't have a lot of wrinkles and um whether that's hereditary. I have no idea. I just know I was never a sun lover and really hate hate being out in the sun for any length of time. I just don't like. I don't enjoy being hot. I can remember when I was young I'd, go to the pool and put on my bathing suit and and sit out there, and if I made 20 minutes. That was a long time and I thought no I got to get back in this air conditioned Texas, heat is, doesn't a little goes a long way and but anyway, oh it's, it's all worked out, but uh. So here you know not too long ago I changed my channel name to women wearing wigs and I am every day I get a new subscriber and I just encourage everybody to subscribe, like my videos and hit the Bell that way, you'll get a notification that you You have a new that I have put posted a new video and the reason that's all important is that you have to have at least a thousand subscribers before you can earn money and let's face it. If I can that'll be great, but the the rest remains to be seen. So if you - and also I want to mention - usually I can see where some people, especially my generation when you say subscribe, you think it's going to cost you something and you're going to have to continue to watch it and everything. Well, you can subscribe to me and never watch another video again as long as you remain a subscriber. So your choice is whether you want to see them or not, and so I hope that I can add some value to your life and and if I can give some tips and tricks along the way, I love nothing pleases me more than to help somebody. I just I mean if I can show somebody how to do something, or you know or what I know I want to share and um. Sometimes I think that's misconstrued that it appears that maybe I'm trying to be a know-it-all, and that is not my that's. Not.
