Hello, are you rolling, I'm the Hesh? This is the gentleman and rogues Club, and this is will and he's gon na get haircut. Okay. Well, so you'll want a skin fade with the foils. Today you were saying you want it stick back, but you have an issue with the haircut. So what's the issue when it's dry yeah and if it hangs down a lot on the side. Yeah and I don't mind it, but it's just quite long, so I'd rather get a bit taken off. Okay top, so it doesn't hang down yeah. So you look so this bit stays as it is, but it's these sections on the side, yeah. Okay! So there's a couple of little techniques. You can use to just stop that from happening. This is quite common like with this style yeah, it's quite common, because what happens? Is you start to grow it out and then actually it just gets a bit too long. You don't actually need it this long to look like this. You don't actually need that long, so we'll get to that in due course, so I'm just dampen it down a start with just because it just helps. Keep it out the way because we're going to foil it, we're gon na go straight in with our zero and then just tilt it out as we get towards the top. It'S still retaining like a little bit of the length through here, because it's important we use we're going to use that to blend in the side. So we need that sort of little bit of that little lip up, wait there just for now, just for now. So I'm gon na leave that little bit, that's gon na be our blending in area all right because up and then I go any higher with it, because this is this. Is this section here we're gon na blend in so it's it's better. Alright. What you're doing is you're creating like a little bit of weight here almost of your hair, to sit on as opposed to going in too sharp there. Alright, so we're just repeating, on the same same premise, that we're gon na keep that little bit away. Use. Quite a big word there quite where the day promise you can use that as well saying will that's you. I can be your where the day I want you to make sure you use that at least once today. If you can that'd be great you're, a good football all right, you mate, usually very good footballer or, if you, if the people that are watching this in America, they would say sock sock war, they call football. The balls that you can hold in your hands that make sense than it it's like table, tennis or ping-pong used to be called with left in it. You say yes, Craig, Oh so, before we go on with the foils, we always going with the Detailers. It just takes it that little bit shorter and it makes it more comfortable he's going over with the Detailers. It just takes it that tiny bit shorter waiting for when we go over those foils. If the hair is too long, when you're using the fold just pulls, and then it's really uncomfortable, so anyone that's used spoilers before and it's a retag, then it's probably cuz. The hair is a bit too long, so put the talcum powder on just because it just stops it from irritating the skin. This, the foils irritating the skin so much. It'S almost like a buffer between the skin and the foils. What you would, if you were fuel razor cutting, you would use a gel or you use a foam. It helps us to the transition wills will. Skin is quite sensitive anyway. You can see already where I just Clippard it. It'S gone. It'S gone a bit pink here. So coming up with a foil, as I know that it's gon na probably make your skin a little bit pink initially, but all that all that is is just it. Does it's just that's blood being drawn to the surface of the skin. You just stimulating the skin. Okay, so we've gone in on the sides - just taping them in slightly, but left that little bit of weight here just on the sides there for this top section to sit on. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to split it down the middle. Now this is what I used to look like in the early mid 90s. This is how this is how I have my hair in the mid 90s, and I thought I was Keanu Reeves from Point Break at some poke I want to be. I want to be Keanu Reeves from Point Break. That'S who I want to be okay, so we're gon na leave the length through the front. It'S short for the back, so we're gon na follow this line, I'm pulling it away from the head, because I want a little tiny bit of graduation in the hair. I want to look quite saw a soft line, don't to be a really hard line. You'Ve got quite a long section through the back here as well. Well, I'm going to get rid of some of that. If that's all right, okay, we're gon na use, we're gon na use a just a razor to soften up this haircut. Now, as we're we're saying it's really heavy well, you were we were saying that your haircut just feels really heavy or your hair feels really like just flopping down. It grows quick. So this will this using this technique or just going through the ends, we're just taking off just the very tips, and it would just softens up the haircut. So it doesn't look like a really sharp haircut on the ends and what it doesn't do like if you use the thinning scissors. What you do is you create more straight lines through it, so this will just lighten the whole haircut, and I you know from the taste point of view like if, if some people might not like this style, the shape or but that's not the point, the point Is that if you've got this much hair on top and you want to retain it, but you also want to be able to control it. Sometimes it's not taking the length away, sometimes it's just taking the weight out and that will help to control it. You know sometimes you need the length actually cause. It'S it's there. If you go too short, it just stands up. That'S what people do they go? Oh well, we'll just cut short, then. Well, then all you're doing is creating another problem. So with the link, I can do that and it was sit back, but if I cut that really short, it just stands out so we'll keep the length but we'll take the weight out of the length. We had this really long section here which not really that really just uh eat just easier for him to manage really so these side panels that drop down too much taking the weight out of them. Okay, so a little tip to you. Do you draw this yourself? Would you just leave it natural, okay, yeah yeah, so towel dry, it put a little bit product in it, and then I mean if you've got even if you haven't got time to dry it all just do the side bits? Okay. So what I would suggest is you go in and up that way, so what it does that will support the rest of your haircut all right. So that's changing the dryness up, you're, just using the nozzle to direct the hair. And while that's warm, that's him, you can mold that and then, as it cools down, it will just fall in place and it will just sit and dry in place. And then you can use the cold spot on the hairdryer and that will help just keep it. In place, so even if you haven't got time to write you up dry, all your hair, you know just do the size just to sort of like, and that was somewhat from falling back as well, so the top you can just run through with your fingers. You see what I mean, though it hold it hold back. Much nicer feels lighter yeah, good yeah I mean, like I said. The trick is really retain the length we'll take away that the way yeah that very bottom area, just with a texturizer, and she was so a little bit of pomade. That'S the area that you want to hold the hair, and then we run it through the arrest. I spent really good your op it. The Hairy Avocados: OMG, anyone can see this is not a fade. It’s a undercut with a slight blend. It’s higher than normal because this is what was asked for. Enjoy

Rhudeboy: Such an amazing barber. He is very detailed and explains so much on why thinning helps out a lot.

James Wright: Another great tutorial from the wonderful Mahesh... could Mahesh please do a mini series within Beardbrand on typical problem cuts... for example elderly gentlemen who for years brush their hair back against its natural growth direction, usually along the sides, brushing it backwards insisting they want the sides short but don’t want it to stick up along the parietal ridge... any help on these everyday problems would be a massive help to me!

Darth Vizzle: Cut looks phenomenal!! Masterful skill I wish the barbers in my area could do this. Props Mahesh!

M P: This guy has really cool hair. That is exactly the style that I was going for and yet my hair just wasn't being cut properly. With the pandemic going on I ended up just buzzing most of it off. Maybe I will try to let it grow out again.

Mike Woolf: Great cut! I rock a similar style and have the same issue as him with the side falling down. Definitely going to run this by my barber.

Marcelo Rinaldi: Se por aqui onde moro tivesse um barbeiro nessa pegada, iria fazer esse corte agora! Show!

Ariel Cleo Drechsler: Good job! I wish i have a barber like you with these sovereign skills in my hometown, here in germany! The feelings of your videos are sympathetic and a little "homecoming for understanding the mens world... smile <3

kreator861 201: Exactly what I've always wanted. Unfortunately, most barbers in the city(urban area) cannot get pass the fade or undercut part of the style. They often lack scissor skills or have non at all. Thanks for the video.

Tyler Pearce: Awesome cut. Good job Mahesh. Sometimes I wish I still had hair like this. But there is something to be said about not fussing over hair products or styling.

John Smith: I love it. I'm doing this on my kid rite now. Thank you for explaining.

Diamond Official : I’m going to ignore the “fade” but I love watching your videos, helps me a lot with my scissor work

Slim LC: I want a barber like this guy , all these barbers around me just ask I say and never come out with the same hair cut , pure geniuses

ComeWithFacts: That way you just blended could save me a lot of time! That’s actually sick!

John Smith: Mahesh is a “Barber God”! The back of that haircut was even better than the front!

stevieant: This Barbour is absolute top shelf! Makes an amazing haircut look effortless!

Fimbultur: Huge transformation! The hiarcut looks awesome!

Phil 1969: I don’t know many barbers but I was married to a hairdresser who had her own very busy business, and she said you are a top barber, I may pop in when I’m down in swanage in June , cheers Phil

maxr4073: This cut looks really good. Top job by the barber.

And One: Greatest haircut ever. All hail Mahesh Hayward!

Hilal Ahmed: Hayward is undoubtedly talented person with real competencies.

Nazgul: So this guy wants slick back undercut, but he isn't blowdrying his hair, and he is wondering why his hair drops to sides? For real? As someone who has had slick back undercut for several years, if you want slick back yourself, say goodbye to not giving proper care to your hairstyle. You will have to blow dry, use products and style your hair every day if you want a slick back. If you are not cut up for the job required, don't bother. The hair won't naturally stay in that place. Its a lot of trouble, and it can get frustrating sometimes, but in my opinion, i think its worth it.

Audio Hobbyist: Great job! It's cool to compare this to the similar cut that Greg Berzinsky got on yesterday's video.

WarButler: Masterfully done, as ever. Really great looking cut.

Leo Nunes Barbeiro: Acompanho todos os vídeos desse cara, e muito legal, eu aprendo muito mais do que assistir vídeos brasileiros, observação eu não sei nada de inglês kkkk

RYN: Nice cut. Did really well with the edges

SweenyTree: god i wish every barber was like this guy…

Mark GOGO Gomez: Now that guy is a top barber! That's a great barber! I like the new beard cut too!

Sergio Altamirano: Excelente..Y muy buen corte de cabello..

Siavash Eskandary: Absolutely perfect haircut I really like your hair cutting style with scissor

Lorenzo F: FLAWLESS haircut in every possible way

Self-Improvement: That was the cleanest fastest fade I ever saw. And with no comb. You're a wizard.

Vyngraven: That spray bottle tho.... amazing.

Elvis: Es uno de los mejores peluqueros que he visto !

davy: Great cut mate. Really suits this guy!!

andrew cluer: This client has nice hair to work with, and he is given a distinctive new look that flatters his reglar features, and showcases the shape of his head.

Jeff B.: Does beard brand have any recommended barbers to visit in san diego? Wish I lived in England so I could get a cut from this guy. He's a great barber and super chill!

J.V.C: Woow...no matter what kind of haircut he gets! He still looks GORGEOUS!♡ Thnks 4 the vid.

Garry Phillips: This channel has helped me with my anxiety thank you guys

Victor Sahni: That slick back skin fade haircut is awesome.

Robbie C: Great job. I would definitely visit his shop.

Scott L: Sea salt spray before you dry will give it that clean but dirtier feel to it, allowing it to stay up better. Then some treseme freeze hold hairspray to keep it on place. Use the hair dryer on a low heat to dry the spray quicker. Done.

T.Juice1010: That jack Daniels water bottle looks really cool, it just seems like it would get heavy after a while. All in all, love the videos! Especially of Mahesh, he’s fun to watch!

0neofthem: This is my absolute favorite haircut!

Misael Gomes: Teu barbeiro mandou muito bem!

Молли Бьёрн: great model! and final style is awesome! smart look.

Darin Glavan: Liked for a lot of reasons but had to mention the bibs and jack daniel’s spray bottle are badass, love your style!

HaventGotaNameYet: Well done! No "line" begginers business.

A. De G.: I know it's supposed to be a high skin fade, but you went too high too soon. The height that you shaved up to In the beginning should have been the ending height. The starting height should've been lower first.

reeda karagully: How do you call that a fade mate this a shocking fade Barber speaking
