Hey guys so in this tutorial, I'm gon na be showing you how to get big bombshell, Kim Kardashian, inspired curls and for my curling iron today, I'm going to be using the ballast Pro or baby list. However, you want to say it: um, tourmaline, ceramic curling iron. So the first thing you're gon na want to do is clip up half of your hair, I'm just taking it from about my temple up and I'm just going to clip this first layer up so that I have the bottom layer to start working with and also, If you have little bangs, I also recommend taking a little baby clip and pinning those up as well. This technique, I'm gon na, be showing you is a little bit different than probably what you're used to, but this is the best way I've found to blend your natural hair with extensions if you wear them, but basically what you're gon na do is you're gon na Start from the top of your hair and you're gon na take about a 1 to 2 inch section, depending on how thick your hair is and you're gon na start at the top and curl it just like normal and then slowly work. Your way down the hair shaft as you can see that I'm doing right now and just hold on to the end and slowly pull the hair through the curling iron and what this is gon na do is really gon na insure that those little baby hairs or Layers or you know where your extensions drop off really really blend, with your hair that you're curling, so that you don't see any weird layers underneath or anything like that and then once you've gotten your hair, all wrapped up in the curling iron you're, just gon na Leave it there just for a few seconds and then you're gon na, let it down and, as you can see, you're gon na have a perfect spiral, curl and then you're, just gon na repeat this process for all of your hair. I'M actually curling mine. All in the same direction, just because a lot of the pictures that I looked at of Kim Kardashian, she had all of her hair facing away from her face to kind of frame it. So I'm going to be curling the bottom layer all towards the back of my hair and then actually all the top layer towards the back of my hair as and you'll find that it's going to blend a lot nicer than you would probably think so. Once you've got the bottom layer all done, you can take your favorite hairspray kind of tousle your hair a little bit and give it a good spritz so that it's gon na hold. While you finish the rest of your hair and normally Kim Kardashian parts are here in the middle, but just because I do not feel like that looks good on me at all. I'M going to be doing mine as a side part. So, since I'm doing that, I'm gon na take another section from that side of my hair and then pin kind of my bang area up. Just because that side of my hair is gon na thicker. And I want to make sure that I get everything curled really evenly, so if you're gon na be doing it, this way to you, I recommend doing the heaviest side of your hair in more sections than the other, so we're just gon na continue this process. All the way across your hair - and I feel like this is a lot easier for you guys to actually wash them for me to verbally. Explain because, honestly, I don't really know how to explain this. So I feel like it's gon na, be a lot easier for you guys to visually watch me doing these curls versus me trying to explain how to do it. It'S very, very, very simple! Once you get the hang of it, and since this curling iron actually has the swivel cord, it makes your life a lot less complicated. So it's easier for you to kind of maneuver this around your head. So this is what the curls should start to look like, and I know they look really really uniform right now, but we're gon na go in and kind of flip our hair around and tousle it. So it doesn't look quite so uniformed. So just continue to repeat this process throughout your hair until it is completely curled doing it. This way is just gon na provide you with a lot of extra volume, and it's gon na make your hair look a lot thicker than it actually is. So if you have thin hair or a ton of layers - or you are extensions, this is gon na - be a really really great method for you to use okay. So now for the bangs, I recommend splitting these into two sections and for the longer section what you're gon na do is kind of start halfway through the strands that you use and just repeat the same process that you've been doing for the rest of your hair. On this, and just don't hold this one in quite as long because we want the curls right next to your face to be a little looser than the rest of them and then for the section right next to your face, barely curl. This at all, just kind of focus on the ends and basically more than anything, just kind of flip it out, so that it blends with that curl that you just did so that is it for the curling. This is what all of your curls should look like. Now I highly highly highly recommend teasing the top of your hair just because we have so much volume and so much going on towards the ends of your hair, that, if you just leave the crown like it is it's gon na look a little bit odd. So this is what you should look like when you are done teasing. You should have super voluminous curls, very, very Kim Kardashian s, and here is the Glee, the finished product.
