Pixie Hair Tutorial Faux Hawk

Good morning, friends, okay, so I'm gon na do I've been requested to do by multiple people, a fauxhawk tutorial on how to get your hair reaching for the stars. So that's what we're gon na do today. So I just got out of the shower, as you can see, which is the easiest way to achieve this hairstyle when you are doing it so having wet hair. So before we go ahead and begin, I'm gon na go ahead and share this to my other pages. So I, like, I said before I've been requested to do a hair trim how to get your pixie cut your short hair to have all the volume, so my hair type is very thin, typically oily and very fine, so thin, fine hair. Let me who I'll test then fine hair like show me to your hands, because I feel you it's so hard to get that volume. What else did I put in my hair after I did the leave-in conditioner um? I did the heat shield. I did the smooth healing oil, it's kind of. Like my go-to. But for now we're gon na show you my after shower routine and how to achieve that Fox, faux, hawk Fox. I don't know why alright so first thing to start with so volume who needs volume. This is the key, so this is called the whip, volumizing mousse. What I love about it is, you, don't have to blow-dry your hair, a lot of the Moose's that are on the market. You have to blow-dry your hair and to achieve the volume this you do, not you don't have to blow-dry your hair, but what you're gon na want to do is squirt it a little bit in the palm of your hand and then you're gon na want to Take it off the root and just really kind of massage this in what I also really love about this volumizing mousse. Is it actually also has healthy things packed into it like aloe, which helps to nourish your hair, protect your hair and healing your hair? So, unlike a lot of the volumizing mousse is out there, it's actually helping your hair and not just acting as volume, so you're gon na start at the root and then take it through the shaft in the ends, and it's really gon na give you incredible volume And, like I said, you don't have to blow-dry your hair at the end of this using the volumizing mousse, if you just used it normally on your wet hair after you get out of the shower, it gives you such incredible, like soft, Airy, volumous curls, if your Hair is curly or straight just volume. Is it's really great, really really great? Yes, it's so good hard to get volume. It'S so heavy! Yes, absolutely Amy! So volumizing mousse! You would definitely make sure that you're gon na want. Yes, my hair is pretty wet. So now, what we're gon na do is we're gon na use this guy right here. This is the Manoj oil hydrating mist. I use this as my heat protectant, and it also is really great if you have platinum hair, because it also is helping to kind of heal. Your hair adds that really nice hydration. So if you have dry heavy curly hair, that is really gon na help. So again that was the Minaj hydrating mist. You don't have to use this on wet hair. You can use on wet hair dry hair before bed. You can't overuse this product all right so now to begin we're. Gon na use these Sol hair dryer this my favorite one buy them, has so many really awesome bells and whistles. It'S like a salon grade blow dryer. So this is also on major sale. We'Re gon na use the Sienna rounded brush. This is the smallest one. I really really like it for achieving volume, so the bells and whistles comes with a ton of different settings, so I'm gon na use it on. I know it's gon na be hard to hear me, so I'm gon na try to talk right now. I'M gon na use on the second heat setting and then the second speed. So I like to not use it on the hottest setting, because we don't want to apply to achieve if you have blond hair so using on the second settings like the perfect like happy medium. So second settings already great, like the back, keep turning on the south and the dissenters like cool, alright Wow, I'm done I'm just kidding. Could you imagine alright? So look at this already look at this volume. Oh my gosh, it's so crazy! I love this stuff. Volumizing mousse is the bomb, and so is this brush. So this comes in three different sizes. So for me, I'm sure here so I like the small, but if you have longer hair you can do the medium or the large but, like I said, you're just gon na kind of stick it and then you want to turn just like this. Alright. So now that we have very wild hair, now, I'm going to use my flat iron to achieve the rest of this look. So this is the low res so, like I said right now, they're having a major sale on the applet here, as well as the ceramic on goal, one as well as the less ink and the bougie set. Thank you. You guys are so awesome. Alright, so the Loretto iron is one of my favorites. I also really like the appli tear. This is a ceramic plates. Has a heat distributor right here, so it doesn't help. It doesn't fry your hair at all. It'S incredible so we're also gon na use. The kind of play off the temperature, so it hasn't auto on auto off shut off. You leave it on for an hour, so forgetful girls. This is for you, but we're gon na use on the temperature 280 and we're all slowly begin to like move it up. If we need to all right so now, what I will typically do is I like to take this little hair, thingy, hair clip and I'm gon na kind of find out where my, where I want my part to be so we'll just kind of grab that pieces, Like this and now, I'm gon na take my hair clip and I'm gon na clip it right here. Like I said, I have super fine hair, so using other techniques like hair clips really helped. So once we have that now we're gon na go in and we're going to straighten the ends or the sides rather and I'll kind of just like curl in like this as I'm going, because I wanted to like sit behind my ear, but I still want volume. I don't want my hair to look flat even if we're having like all this volume on top. It still want my hair to have some volume. So turning like that at the root really helps so again we're kind of figuring out where that part is and then turned and then I'll kind of tuck it see if it needs more volume. The glow Rev fired has a one-inch, which is perfect. If you have short hair and then in the back, I'm just kind of piecing it and turning hey, I am trying to be real with you guys, I'm not gon na pretend. I know all these fancy-pants hair words, I'm just showing you guys what I do alright. So now that we have that, pin now I'm taking the flier - and I am just sticking it in there - fancy wires over here and now on the sides. I'M gon na turn inward, like that see how it creates this like barrel here and now. I'M not gon na force my hair to do something that it doesn't want to do so, for example, this piece right here did not want to go this way, so I'm not gon na burn the crap out of it. Hi sweetie, I'm not gon na burn the crap out of I trying to get to go that way, I'm gon na, let it do its thing to an extent. Obviously, like this hair wants to stay down, that's okay, you may stay down and then this hair we're gon na force up. It might kind of split that so just like so and we'll kind of play around with it a little bit doesn't have to be. Like a perfectly neat part, I think that's what also helps the hair look really. Nice is when it doesn't look perfect, like a faux, hawk, isn't supposed to be perfect, so kind of playing around with it, and just letting your hair kind of figure itself out the products and the tools really really help. But we want it to look messy PC. We don't want it to look like a comb-over, you know force' all right and then here in the back. We want it to really kind of weigh nicely in the back, so I'm gon na try to turn around, so you guys can see okay, so I'm just gon na take it and then we're creating lots of volume by turning it like this, and obviously it over Here so we're just figuring out it's gon na look better. I promise you guys, probably oh god, what is she done all right? It'S the same thing and we're just keep on Guerlain, keep on keeping on and then see how I'm kind of like digging in here bigger down here. You guys, I'm like all about the professional terms, but now we're gon na kind of like push it and play around with it a little bit see where it needs like some extra help before we go in with our hair products. Cuz, you don't want to do your hair products and then have to go in with your Flatiron again. It'S not very good for your hair, so we're trying to be nice trying to be nice to the locks. When I wear my fox hood parts, family makes fun of me no girl here you got this so for me, like I'm the same way, I have a really harsh part. So the same thing happens to me too, so using the blow-dryer first really really really helps and then doing like I'm doing with the flat iron really helps as well so kind of playing around with like the heat setting, depending on your hair right. So now we have that now I'm going to go hog stinking wild with this product right here, so this is called the hot to trot max, hold hairspray and then we're also gon na use the Salton Sea texturizing spray. So I'm gon na take my texturizing spray. First - and this is gon na - add some texture to our hair, so it's also gon na help to hold it. But what I love is that it's not like heavy, because we don't want heavy products, especially if you have thin hair like I do. If I use heavy products, my hair just go whew. So now we're gon na take this product right here, so hot-to-trot max hold hairspray and I'm gon na pull up at the areas that I need it to like. I need the most help, which obviously is here in the front, and then I'm gon na kind of take my fingers and glaze it through just like that. Alright, so now we're gon na take our hands. I just go all the way back, alright, so now that we have most of the hold now we're gon na add, like very fine touches, so this guy right here this is the gentlemen's pomade. This is incredible, so it's technically for men, but anyone can use it. It'S so good. I love that it's like a clear pomade. It'S not like a gel! It'S like a happy medium between a pomade and a gel, it's perfection so we're going to take that on her finger and we're gon na probably use a little bit more of this product. But for now we're just gon na start with that, and then this is when we're really gon na start to kind of play around with exactly how we want it to say. If there's hairs that are trying to revolt, we're gon na take our fingers, and I'm just gon na kind of twist like this, create that part a little harsher see trying to revolt over here. So I'm trying to just like twist it in just like this, and, like I said you don't have to be perfect, doesn't have to look absolutely perfect. It'S a fun thing about like a faux hawk and I'm just taking whatever's left over, I'm just like wiping it on my hair, all right just like that, I think we're done. I think we good it's! Okay, if it's leaning, leaning tower of pisa there, we have it tada, that's so fun! Oh sure, hair is so much fun. So that was the white tutorial. So I actually used this one before I got on live my dad. But this is the flexi brush. This is an amazing stocking stuffer for husbands. They really really really help with volume. Ooh, that is a tough choice, Vikki. I probably do the bubble wand. I love the curls with the bubble, one just nice to know so max hold hairspray comes in just this size, which I love especially for traveling with, but if you want a bigger sized one, the trio chic three-way hairspray.
