How To Cut Your Hair Into A Funky Pixie Haircut At Home- Step By Step- Diy Pixie Hair Cut

Hello today, I'm gon na make a little tutorial on how to do my own hair, how to cut it in a funky bob and the reason I'm doing it is because I was looking for what I love doing things myself. I cut my kid's hair and I usually cut my hair, but I couldn't find that tutorial, that was self explanatory and how to do your own hair. So today, I'm going to try showing you how to do it. I'M gon na need several do some hair clips. Just to hold my hair in sections, I'm blending scissor, you know we do our hair scissor Hair Clipper discuss for me. It'S easier to make sure that my hair is even and also my hair is curly, so it blends pretty well, you can't really see if I make a mistake. I'M gon na go with very, very side short size and then kind of like a longer. First look front part because he there's some green in my hair and although I was trying to grow it out it's taking much longer than I expected and to be honest, I'm getting really bored. I can't really do anything cause he doesn't curl. Then it's not short. Joint and it's not a long long that I can pull that back, so I just think that I couldn't do much more with it if it's shorter and from here, without waiting like half a year for it to grow. So here we go okay, so we're gon na get started. First of all, I cut my hair strike because it's curly and I've realized that when you cut it what you miss out on the length of the hair, so I realized that it's easier for me just to cut it when it's when it's dry. So I don't miss out, so I'm going to start by dividing the sections that I want to get short short and the ones that I'm gon na leave long. So I'm gon na grab all this front part that I am intending to not court cut. So short, as you can see, there's still some shortness there, because that was what I shaved before when I actually got a haircut and so on. So this parts gon na get clipped and then because I'm going to do it too don't fall off and then the back it's a bit longer. But I'm gon na use the machine to kind of cut that one through and use some mirror just. So I don't miss out, so I'm gon na just get started back there and I'm got started with a side sexually. So I don't. I can't repent myself and start crying like a baby with the Clippers. I'M gon na go with the piece that it's the number two and here we go. Let'S see how that works out so usually go downwards. Just so I don't it's just adjusted before I the deck looking back yeah, so you can see it's doing kind of a nice job cutting semi evenly. So I don't actually have to worry too much about this desert sand. The glue thing I'm gon na go back and do it the other way around just so I don't go too short and especially here on the back, so this side is all done. I'M gon na follow. This is actually a pretty quick haircut. It'S gon na be very similar to what I do with my kids hair and I've gotten a lot of practice already with them. So hopefully I'm gon na like suck too much. I'M not sure if you can see what I'm doing here, but you should. I just put in a little bit harder. I think it's a very bad yeah, we're done. You have to pull it on them because you know to get the cut in there right here. Yep then, of course, I'm gon na clean all this up with desserts later, but just to get the process started. I'Ve divided it I'm not really worried about them. I guess my hair's curly, so even if I don't do it particularly awesome job with it, you're not gon na be able to tell because it's you'll curl up in a loop kind of funky. So now. The other reason why I don't like going to the hair salon: it's because when you tell them to take off a trim a little bit, they clapped like a lot and I hate when they do that. Let'S see if you already hold it, so this is as much as I've cut so far put that back in there yep there we go and I'm gon na check with minor just to see yeah, that's pretty good, so I did a little bit of an evenness Over here, but it'll even out, there's some long pieces that I'm gon na have to clean up here. My funny has lit my hair has like a funny growth pattern on the on the end on the back, which we'll have to shave a leader with the mirror, but you'll even know, so no I'm gon na clean up a little bit of that lens. Just this. So, okay, the top part it's down and as you can see, obviously it's like super long. So what you do here, it's your work, you divide the hair and then you go from short from short to long, just so that you kind of like have some sort of control of what you're doing so I want to do I'm gon na and again a Lot of this effect is to organically, because I know my hair, my hair growth pattern and pretty aware of where my curls and kinks are. I begin. This casino can fight some long hair, so I'm just gon na go back and make sure those are out. Sometimes these one slicks stick back up and all this is going to go short short short, sure, sure sure sure sure sure yep, because it's easier and I actually it's it's a woman having long hair all my life. This was the most freeing feeling I had like my Britney Spears moment when I was able to do this by myself. It feels really nice on yourself um, so there no hair on the sides anymore. If I could technically leave it like this, but it's too it's too messy. It'S too uh, it's too much volume in there. So again I'm gon na divide and cut. So I guess they don't get too anal with the with the parts and the you know the dividing. But here it's when you kind of this so useful when you have curly hair. Because again, when you have straight hair, everything that you mess up kind of like show something, though of the haircut and when you have curly hair, it's so much more forgiving, so yeah you clip it that there and I'm just chopping off the growth of like two Years basically, but hey it's just hair right. So what I'm gon na do it's um. One of the things that I really like to do is to cut with a with the machine just cuz. It leaves like less of a blurred angle. So what I'm gon na do it? Someone grab it like this and then just show you and again it's long long too. Short. Sorry short, too long, so you start on the back and that's gon na yeah, that's gon na fall back and we'll obviously clean. There'S a lot of stuff that it's gon na need cleaned up here afterwards, especially when you're brushing the sides, but you continue to go on. You can clip what you're not using so doesn't get on the way, make sure your clothing yeah and then grab your air. I don't want to go to too short on the front. I just I like the nice contrast, so you kind of want to follow the mind of where you left it. So if you can find what was the last length you can, and you continue to go up just make sure you yeah I'm a principal I'm gon na - have to do my highlights again and I'll. Do it this one video for that? But okay, so nice lender, yeah and then the top the tops gon na be the interesting part, because I want it to be long enough and I'm itchy. Of course. Now I love the way it kind of turns out after you've, uh gotten rid of the excess hair but see you kind of find where you left up, and then you slip your finger in a diagonal. You realize that's not long enough until you find that you're happy with then that's it and then hopefully, the top part, which is all I'm missing. It'S gon na be a bit forgiving yeah and then you just do just a tiny bit er from the far right. Just enough to go dirt, this is where the cleanup starts, because your hair is pretty much cut and, as you can see, you'll have a little bit of a nice lent here. I'M the old girl you'll have kind of a nice funky thing, but I need my sister's now, so this is right, just bet for this haircut, and even with that, you know, even with all this stuff that I bought. It still is that I would pay for a haircut so nobody's gon na cut more than I want. So, for me it makes sense, looks I don't like it when I go to the salon and then they give me like the bad haircut that I honestly don't want now nice way to blend on your sides. Is you can divide by half and then you kind of walk you away in the line just to see here? It'S like super long, so you kind of let go like this and you on the side, because you want the site to be long but not, and then you continue to do that blending there. Then you find a go until it's kind of kind of even you're, comfortable with the evenness of the haircut yeah. So there's some sort of a see, and I can even put it back in my ear, which I like then I'm gon na. Do the exact same thing on the other side, just to make sure it's all, even here I missed a little bit, but it's not gon na be the end of the world again. This is a very organic haircut. It'S kind of like a punkish kind of look. So not really that big of a deal, if you have a new Vanessa and choppiness, I think that kind of makes it even more interesting. Just don't cut your finger like I do almost it. I think the front the front is almost there yeah, because this is the side that I'm gon na be kind of like partying on. I may want to just leave a little bit longer than it should be yeah, something like yep perfect on the gun, because it's for what it's, hopefully not gon na, create that big of a deal with the it's dry. It'S not gon na create that big of a deal with the 1/8. When I actually blow dry it a bit and get it all out. Can I have some sort of evenness here and then let's see, let's brush out on the side and see how that looks. Now, there's some things, some cuts that I need to do I'll probably need it to be a bit shorter. Here it kind of looks weird. So in this instance, I will need just yeah kind of a shorter thing here and again, I'm probably gon na just I can do this as her psyche into the machine make the community. The machine just gives me more control. We just do it a lot whilst without freaking out yeah blend set. So I have like the shorter side here now that is kind of blended I'll blend it with the back in a sec and then the long front, which is kind of punk rock ish, which I really really appreciate. No I'll blend in a sec, and you can still see my tips that are a bit of Rhenish. This is where I'm gon na get there. The blending scissors. You can see there's like a big chunk here that looks kind of like just chopped up, which obviously it does cuz, I kind of chopped it, so you kind of like blend in there make sure it doesn't. I know does the trick it kind of blends really nicely. This is very nice and used for sitting out the weight. So all those long chopping pieces that you see there we're gon na just kind of like go and yeah. There'S blending told us this great job and it just takes a lot of the curly hair. Wait out. I need avoids. Having those blunt points when you just kind of looks like you use your third grade since there's to give yourself a haircut, so it's now really nicely blended, I mean summary care in the front yeah. I need to just kind of like blend this one in because it kind of looks funny like this, so just want you here, yeah on the back, oh yeah, this are the curves. So now I have to check how bats in the back to see. If I need to even out cuz, you see there's some longer pieces here that I may need to take care of and again I'll, probably use a null do the first leg, eraser and then I'll go we'll. Do the tips with the other sister just to pick up the edges: okay, vacuuming job afterwards, they have hair all over uh, let's see and all of this I'm intending to obviously brush through the front. So hopefully it will. You know when I, when I use Apple made and an iced eyelid, you know look interesting yeah. I did do a voting thing, Instagram ELISA sure, which haircut I wanted. I chose a bunch of different styles and my hair helps my friends help me decide and it was fun. I think, just because everybody's opinion, Oh, which one should look good. What'S going for the more traditional look and everybody wanted me to go and get the like. The punk rock look which hey I'm all for it: yeah dump them short hair for two years and also I'm colored green. Obviously I have no issues with we're doing crazy stuff. So again, here I'm just kind of like cleaning blending in some stuff. Here. Did you see you think spits out of some, but not others, and you just kind of makes it nice and kind of these tributes up nicer, yeah and that's that so now, I'm just gon na get it wet and a little style it and see. How that looks, okay be right back! So is this how much I come? It'S all there and yeah I'll be right back, so I'm gon na dry, it oh yeah! I forgot to shave the back so with this one. I take the number two off just use. The Clipper and they use a mirror - and this was shape myself so that one side see here then the other ones in here just paint up the hairs just kind of like a suicide mission joke, but I'm not any good at it. So I destroy it that much because well that's whoever looks like the better. I do. I'M just kind of follow we're back yep, pretty decent okay, so I'm off the shower and now I'm gon na dry it. Let'S see how that looks, hopefully because my hair is like well short and curly I'll be able to do some final, clean ups, but you'll be minimal. So now what I'm gon na do is I like to put a nice job and I'm holding things together and for this bit, I'm gon na use that diffuser on my hairdryer, so honey they're not like cuz my hairs. So short, I'm just gon na use a tiny dab, a tiny tiny just so I think it's really creepy blending just kind of put it in there get in there get it on the hair yeah. It helps with the curl up just with them in general, make sure it curl I'll do a little bit of the cleanup and tell you what I miss now. The last bit is just you kind of mold it with your hands. I'M gon na get some wax and I use proof molding clay. This is real good. It'S a bit thick but just go light on the finger, because it's very short here so don't overdo it. It was kind of like structure volume and you could kind of like play with the chunks and make a chunky and playful and say here are some chunks that I probably need to get rid of as well. So a blending one or you know, try to get someone out just to kind of like not have too much volume in there. Just a couple of more blood drives and pretty them. So whether you have two minutes to style it or a minute, you should be all set with a pretty nice haircut. That'S gon na look pretty amazing that you did yourself and that cost you zero dollars on that. Hopefully, you'll be able to maintain, because you have the tools to do it, so I hope you like this, and I don't be.
