Hello, everyone welcome back to the style news network, so today i wanted to shake things up a little bit and i wanted to do a complete video that features women going from longer locks to shorter hair. So i've been noticing this trend a lot on tik, tok, instagram and a lot of women with dreadlocks are just cutting it all off and switching it up with shorter hair. So the first transformation goes from someone with long dreads to this gorgeous finger. Wig pixie cut, and then we see someone with like yellow colored dreads a lot of the times. These clients will cut the hair themselves too. I would have loved to have seen the transformation where someone was at home, cutting the dreadlocks and then doing their own hair. That would have been pretty cool, but i couldn't find that. But here we have someone else walking out the salon with a pixie, so this next transformation features like reddish brown dreadlocks, so she looks like she might be going shaving a faded cut with this next one. Oh she's going red yep, so she ended up getting a red fade stunning. I love that red color on her complexion. It looks gorgeous so we move on to the next one. So she has brown. Dreads looks like she's gon na go with the tapered cut trend. Yep, so the stylist is adding in some color. She already has a line detailing on the side. These type of transformations always impress me they just look so amazing, so the stylist is defining the curls and she is rocking the tapered cuts with the curls very pretty. I love the hint of color added as well whoa, so she starts off with super long dreadlocks and when your dreadlocks get that long, it kind of pulls on your hair. So she probably wanted a major change, so she is also rocking the curly faded taper cuts. She got her makeup done too wow. This transformation is amazing. She looks like a whole, another person, absolutely gorgeous. I was hoping they were going to show. Yes, they showed the before again crazy, so that is from the barber crew cuts. I believe he is based in brooklyn new york, i'm not entirely sure, but he does amazing transformations and they are typically the signature tapered cut. So here he is again, and this next woman has beautiful, draw locks. Look at the color combo at the end. She'S got the blonde going so she's cutting it herself he's rocking the hair on us he's working the hair on the shoulder. Oh snap. Yes, so she went with the red finger waves finger, wig pixie, so she i think she just got it's hard to tell the real so fast. It looks like she did finger waves at the top portion. Yeah that looks gorgeous line detailing going there on the side. Zigzag pattern that color is so pretty on her, so next up, someone also has very long like orange colored dreadlocks, the stylus is cut in the hair, so let's see what she ends up doing with her hair, her hair is pretty short, so this is probably like About a month or two grown out hair from the drill off, so it looks like she's doing finger waves and she got some more of that. Copper, color ginger tone very nice. I love it. Oh that color looks so pretty. I had so much fun putting this together and i am going to try to find somebody who goes from doing it themselves, like they cut their dreads at home and then style their hair. So here is the next transformation, also by crew cuts and she decided to go with the faded platinum look, so she went from long blonde dreads to this gorgeous faded, platinum, pixie, well, more so faded cut. I wouldn't necessarily call this a pixie, but she went with the signature, platinum, faded cut and there is her dreads there on the side. Oh, i wonder if they decide to keep that. That would be kind of weird, though, if they kept their hair, i'm not gon na lie. When i did chopped and went from relaxed to natural, i did keep my hair for a while and then i eventually was like okay. I need to throw this away. This is weird: that's keeping the hair in like a little bag. I don't know so. Here'S the next transformation she kept her natural black color and she kept her natural curls in the form of his tapered cuts very nice. So here we have another dreadlock transformation. So her dreads look like they're about like apl, armpit length or so looks like she has about a month or two of new growth going on underneath the dreads, so she's, probably gon na get a pixie yep. Oh, she got beautiful, curls waves added. She has a really pretty face too perfect for a pixie cut yeah. I really like her better with the pixie art you guys, so that's it for this video.
