How To Make A Braided Ponytail Wig/Beginner Friendly.

Hi guys it's a girl, show me welcome back to my youtube channel today, we'll be making a ponytail wig. If you want to see how we got this done stay tuned. Firstly, i got a net this net and i had to pin it to my dummy head. Then i used a crochet pin, but then i didn't finish: making the wig with a crochet, because the hole in this net is quite small and it was really tasky trying to like force the attachment to the hole and then braiding a wig on it like. It was so stressful and i didn't want anything that would stress me so yeah at a point. I actually stopped fixing uh purchasing the um, the attachment to the net, and i think i just did two lines and i stopped so. I had to use another another method, so this is like a first method. So when you're done crocheting this um attachment to to the net, then you we, you braid, like you, do the normal braiding i didn't show where i did the normal braiding. But if, if this is the method, you would like to use that's up to you and that's fine, but for me this method is way way too stressful, and i i just didn't want to go through that stress just to get this week done all right. So yeah i've seen the classiness of braided wig and i really wanted that for myself. I i wanted to pay a hair maker like someone that is stylist to make this week for me, but then i was like babe. You can actually do this and it will be a content you have to post on your channel. So that's why i had to go through that all that to get this done, and that's why i actually didn't want to use this method in making the week, because i do not want to be stressed out at the end of the day not like. I won't be stressed, but you know, on a scale of one to ten using this method was like 9.5, and i didn't want that for myself right. So i used another method. The other method where i had how to like use a hanger. You can use a rope, you can use anything you can use any. You can use anything actually so far that that stuff is going to make is going to allow you take out the braided, the braids yeah. So far it's going to allow you take out the braids. Then it's fine. So if you're looking to use anything for the second method, then i would recommend a rope, a tiny rope, not too big, so that it wouldn't make it look somehow or an ion hunger. If you're in nigeria, you would know what i'm talking about, there is something we call iron hunger in nigeria, so you can use a an iron hunger or a tiny rope or a wheel, a little real, just basically something that can allow you like, like in this Video i use an iron hanger because i can't i couldn't find a rope. I don't think we have a tiny rope and then what i did was use. This hanger take the amount of attachment i needed for whatever i wanted to do for the braids. You know. Do this stuff, i don't know what this stuff is called, but you just overlay them right, then then go over the iron hanger with it, and then i start making my braids. You try as much as possible to make it tight at the end like the head. So that it wouldn't be too loose, then you braid, i don't know, i think braiding is a little bit easier. Braiding. Your hair is a little bit easier than doing the crotchet braid right. So this is me braiding it i don't know. I do not know how i'm going to explain what i'm doing right now bro, i know i'm just breathing and it just happens. Naturally, i didn't really learn it from anybody. Okay, so i braided as much as much as possible as much as the hair could contain. Like as much as the recap to wake up as much as the wig cap will contain, i didn't want the wig cap to be scanty. I wanted it to be a little bit full, but not too full, and i didn't want to waste so much time on this. So while i was braiding, it was um. I made it a little bit big, it's not extremely tiny. It might be appearing small here, like the size of the braid, but it's actually not small, it's quite big yeah, we'll keep breathing and waiting till we'll get the amount of brakes that we need for the recap right yeah. So at this point i was almost done. Braiding - and i will go in with my scissors to trim because you know that whenever you braid there are these little hairs like they're, not so much, but then they make the hair look so unkempt, so i had to trim them off and get them off the Body of the hair, so they look neater right. So after that i had to um get my needle and my thread. I was supposed to use a beginning job because i didn't have i have to i had to use what i had at home. Take the braids off the hanger that's! This is exactly why i prefer using um an iron hanger, because you can untwist the neck and then take it off and then twist it back and it's still your hunger right, not like you're going to waste it. So i pick up one braid. I pick up one braid and then i sew it to the net. I don't know if that makes sense, so i had to sew all the braids to the neck and, as i'm sewing i'm trying to like make a knot so that it will tie like it would it wouldn't be loose. So for every braid there is a knot. Maybe not every time i make a stitch, but then maybe when after making two or three stitches, i make a knot after making two or three stitches, i make a knot for a particular braid and by so doing this will help secure the bra the braid properly. On the recap and yeah: that's it after keep doing this, i had to keep doing this, so i was sure that all species were covered. You know, and when i was done, i had some spaces like i had some breeds remaining and i was like what should i do? What should i do all right, so i had to like open up. The media part find a space stitch it to the recap, and that was exactly what i did, because i wasn't going to throw it away like it would be a complete waste of time doing something and then throwing the others away. So i had to make use of it. So at this point i was almost done trying to trim off the excesses and then got my hair conditioner put a little bit in a bowl pour in my hot water, and then i put the bread in there and i poured hot water on it. I am not exactly sure why hairstylists do this stuff, but whatever the reason is it's good, because i did it so yeah um, i tied the ends of this braid. I wanted it to be uh to be coily, but at the end of the day, at the end of the day, i loosened it and i poured another hot water. I'M sorry. I didn't show that part in this video, hot water, on it to strain, to strengthen and straighten. So here is how i installed the braid. I got my hair with there's this lady that stays downstairs. I went to a salon. I told her to leave my hair. She did this weaving for me, i got my hair weaved. This is me laying my edges with the edge control. These guys, don't forget to subscribe to my channel. Give me a thumbs up. Give me a thumbs up like comment. Tell me if you'll be trying this out i'd love to know. Was this video really helpful? It really helps with the growth of my channel. So now it's actually time to fix the braided ponytail wig. The two ends that has a comb the lower i had to fix the lower comb. I had to fix it using the lower comb to like get into my hair and then coming up using the upper comb to also get into my hair, then using the wig the cap to cover up that part, and then there is, there is a yeah. There is a thread: oh no, no, it's red! What do i call it now, but whatever it is, it has something that you use to secure it. Yeah like that stuff. When you tie this stuff, let's, let's call it a rope when you tie it, it tightens um the the comb or yeah the comb, the pins in the cup, and then i took like two braids and wrapped it round, so that it would look more beautiful and You wouldn't know that they are separate all right. This video is all about using what you have at home to get your hair done in split seconds. So this is like a quick hairdo you're. Looking all beautiful having this particular hairdo doesn't take so much time. I had to hide that stuff too, if you're running late and you do not know what to do. This can help so guys if you enjoyed watching up until this moment. Please give me a thumbs up like and subscribe to my channel bye.
