Hey everyone, so we're just going to go ahead and get started, so I'm going to be doing this style on shrunken old hair. I like doing this out over here because it works the best. I went ahead and customize my band, so I'll be using the band on the left. I do have a tutorial on how I made my band. I will link that in the description box below next I'm going to take my spray bottle of water and spray it on my hair to loosen up my hair a bit and then I'm going to go ahead and apply some moisturizer. On top of that. Just to give my hair a little bit of moisture because it was kind of dry, you can use your gel of choice that I'll be using eco styler gel. I'M just going to apply that all over the perimeter of my hair and I will be using a generous amount, but gel is optional. You don't have to use gel and when I get to the back of my hair, I'm making sure I smooth my hair in the upward motion in the way that I want my hair to go. The gel is going to also help to lay down the shorter pieces of my hair, so I don't have any flyaways and I don't have to use any bobby pins to hold the hair down and then I'm just going to take my brush and brush all the Hair going to the top of my head and smooth everything out and I'm moving pretty quickly, because once I apply gel to my hair, my hair likes to shrink up, so I have to move fast, so my hair doesn't like shrivel all the way down alright. So now that my hair is also down, I'm going to go ahead and take my pin and I'm going to start to push it back in the front and pull it up forward in the back, I'm just going to keep pushing it back like a normal ponytail. You would normally just go ahead and wrap the hair tie around your head a couple of times this is my hair is short, it won't be much of a ponytail, so this is basically a way you can create an illusion to make your hair look like it's. Actually, in a ponytail, but it's really just a band wrapped around your puff, but it actually looks like a ponytail club. Also, if I put my hair into a full ponytail, it wouldn't be thick and full it'll, probably be a little bitty puff ball. So that's why I like to do it this way and I'm sure you already know what was next. I'M just gon na go ahead and take my hair to brush and I'm just looking at my edges, make it unreal, nice and smooth and then after that, I'm going to follow up with some edge control for extra hold alright. So next I'm going to go ahead and put on my silk scarf. I typically like to leave it on 10 to 15 minutes or a while, I'm doing my makeup. So I want to hit it with my scarf off and I like to go ahead and do a few touch-ups. When I do that, and then I'm just going to go ahead and take my pick and pick the puff, make it really nice and full and shape it to how I want it to be because yo can make your hair look really dope, I'm going to go Ahead and add some oil sheen to my hair, to give my hair a nice shine once I'm done styling my hair, I always have to check the back and make sure it's on point and here's the finished. Look. I love doing this style. It is definitely one of my go-to styles when it's time for me to wash my hair, but I really don't feel like washing it. So whenever I wear a puff, I like to wear a headband. You guys have been asking me about the headbands that I wear, but they're actually just bandanas and I just folded corner to corner, and then I go ahead and fold them vertically going downward, basically to create a flat headband type of fit. So I'm one of our hidden place a bandanna on my head and then I'm going to go ahead and tie it around not too tight because you don't want to get yourself a headache but tight enough. So it doesn't slide off and I'm just adjusting the extra fabric, that's hanging out in the back and then all I'm going to do is just tuck the ends inside the headband. So basically like underneath the headband, and it's just that simple. I get my band Dennis from Hobby Lobby or Walmart, and this is what the bandana looks like from the back. I don't know why, but I always have to wear a headband or something with my pump. I just have to I love it. I hope this tutorial was helpful. Thanks for watching and I'll see you on my next one bye,
