Sleek Ponytail On Twa / Very Short 4C Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and if you are new welcome, my name is chelsea. Today'S video is going to be a tutorial on this slit ponytail. On my twa, my very short hair. I cut my hair a couple months ago and now it's starting to grow bad. I never knew it was that long until i stretched my hair out to do this. Hairstyle, like i thought it was like way shorter, but my hair actually grew a lot in the past a few months but anyway, if you guys are interested on seeing how i achieve this look, keep on watching the video and everything i use. Let'S just get right into the video me hey guys, so i'm back and i'm starting on dry hair, i'm spraying some water on it to make it easier for me to comb it out and then blow dry it now i'm blow drying my hair, i'm using the Um the comb part to make it to stretch it out some more to make it easier for me to flat iron it now, i'm using some heat protectant just to protect my hair from the heat. Obviously, i'm spraying that all over my hair, i should have done that before i blow dry, but i forgot so yeah. Now i'm gon na go ahead and use the hot comb to um stretch my hair later on. I'M gon na switch to the flat iron because the hot comb was um taking a little too long, and it was just burning my ear and everything. So what i was not for it. I had plenty to use the hot comb and then use the flat iron. I know that's a lot of heat, but that's that was my plan, but i just switched to the flat iron completely and then at the end i used the um hot comb to do the front like you're gon na see now just to get the front to Lay down a little bit more and then i'm gon na find a spot for my ponytail at the back, and i found it so this is where my ponytail is gon na be at now. I'M gon na take two strands of the braiding hair just to braid um, just um, to make it easier for me to um grab. So i'm just gon na braid it right there and then that's gon na, be my ponytail pretty much, because my hair cannot be a ponytail because it's too short, i'm gon na use my style factor edge booster to sleep, my hair down because girl. That'S the thing! That'S going to get your hair just slowly down, okay and girl. One thing i have to say about it, though it did not last and this miami okay, this this heat is too much down here. For this thing i want to park with the kids and girl that they melted off my head. If you don't live in somewhere, that's cold, that's hot! Then that's good for you and if you're not going outside and stay long outside, you can use it. But for me i will definitely use it again, but probably put more of the um the spray on it. I'M doing it in section, because it's very important to do it in section. That'S how you're going to get your head to be as slick as possible. Okay, you cannot do it in one. You need to do it in sections. If you want the results, you need. Okay, i use the rat tail clump to um comb it out after i put the the star factor edge booster on it, because it really helps my hair to sleep. Okay. To get that um look, i was looking, and one thing, though guys the hair i used is um the marley braiding here and it's in the color 613, but it didn't match my hair, it's difficult for me to find hair that actually matches my hair color. As you guys can see, my hair got two different colors, but if your hair is um, if your hair doesn't have two different colors, then it's going to be easier for you and let's say: if your hair is black, it's going to be easier for you to Find hair that matches, but, for me, girl, that's the best. I could do. Okay so and one thing too like when you have two different colors in your hair. It shows your imperfections. You know a lot, i feel it was black. It wouldn't be as visible to see. Well, you know my hair is not completely sleek at the back, but you got ta. Do what you got ta do anyway. I'M gon na use the got to be glued spray to spray it down to make it um. You know for some more secureness and then i'm gon na um blow dry that and then put my little ponytail up with a a scrunchie whatever you call it my hair time and then i'm gon na move on to the front. Now i'm going to try to get my part as straight as i can, and i'm also going to use the style factor edge booster, to make the part as straight as possible and as you guys can see right there. I have some hair. I lift up for some baby hairs, but i ended up putting it all together because i didn't like the way it looks so for now just ignore the little part you'll see right there, because it's not gon na stick like that. Two i'm also using my brush to make it lay as much as i can. This is where i bring everything together, no movie, because for me i'm gon na do my little sweetie thing on the side. Now, i'm laying down the other side, it's the same process. Nothing special you're gon na do the same thing i did on the other side done, although i didn't do no baby hairs, i'm still gon na try to make that little soupy thing. Look on the side. I don't know what it's called, but it's not really baby. It'S just like just so it doesn't look so straight going across. You know just to give it some style and, as y'all see i'm putting it everywhere, because i want this thing to be laid: okay. Okay, i'm gon na attach my ponytail and, like i told you guys, this didn't really match my hair, like i wanted it to, but i had to do what i have to and right there i'm taking some strains of the braiding hair to wrap around and where I went wrong with that. I used too many strands of hair. I feel like the the little thing wrapped around was too big and also i should have braided the hair before i did this step, because i felt like would have looked way better but learn from my mistake and do it after okay and don't use so much Hair to wrap around, i believe i use eight strands of hair. That was too much. I would have probably used four now yeah, i'm using the dot tv blue spray to um, hold it down all right the next day. Here i am again with my makeup on nothing big, just something simple, everyday type of makeup look and i had a scarf over that as well. I'M gon na take everything, hey baby roma, say hi tomorrow anyway, guys the white things you'll see. That'S the residue of the style factor edge booster, but that's easy to face after i'm done taking this out, i'm gon na spray with some holding spray and that's gon na be disappeared. Just use some hairspray and it's gon na be right off your head. You don't have to worry about that now, i'm going to braid my hair. Nothing special just do a big braid with that hair. All right! This is the braid out complete i'm going to use these little decorations. You don't have to it's just it's optional! That'S just what i wanted to do to make my braid look cute, well guys that well pretty that's pretty much it for this video. You guys. I hope you guys enjoyed that.
