Protective Style Braided Ponytail With Highlights Under $5 W/ Tips And Tricks

Cause hey y'all, so today i'm going to be um, revamping my two dollar braided ponytail style and i'm gon na you know bump it up to four dollars because i'm going to be adding highlights to my braided ponytail today. So i have a 1b hair color and then i also have like a ombre 1b 27, and i also have one that's kind of like an ombre and towards the end of my braid to give it like some highlighted um color. So this will be kind of like a long extended ponytail. I think i want it to stop right at where my derriere ends um or begins. I don't know how long i want it, but um very quick, simple video to do a long braid until i will be sticking my hair back using um eco styler gel, so i'm going to do that very quickly and then i'll bring right back. Okay. So i have my hair slicked down um, i'm going to take my scarf and just kind of let help that lay i'll be doing my edges last, so i'm not really worried about them right now, okay, so while that sits there for a second, let me show You guys the hair - and these are the different types of highlights that i could feed in this is the like ombre um, like the color 4, to like a 27 to a 6 13, and then this is a highlighted like 1b and 27.. So, to make this like a two dollar style or three dollar, four dollar style, um non pre-stretched hair. They some beauty, supply stores, do sell pre-stretched hair for like 1.99, but um at my beauty supply store. They do not um. This is my like 1.99 two dollars. After tax hair, it's not pre-stretched, so my hair is being horrendous today. So i'm gon na attempt to do to try something out, i'm just adding rubber bands to um the divided off sections of my hair to hopefully make it a little easier. I'M going to like that awkward, not short, but not long stage, so people with longer hair. This style is actually easier to do because they can just put their hair on top of um the braiding hair, but i'm going to try this method today. I trust she. You mine take a little band for the end, i'm going to go back through and kind of like spread out the braid to wrap around. I have an extra piece of hair, i'm just going to place it in um. The braid is finished and i will be using um a perm rod to add a curl to the end and that's basically it so i'm about to go dip. My ponytail um in some hot water and lay my baby hairs. Remember if you do not like baby hairs, you just slick your hair right on up, but if you do like baby hairs, you go ahead and style them and you wear them baby hairs, but um, i'm just going to be um using a little bit of my Eco on my phone, but nothing too major and i'll, be laying them down so i'll, be back after i dip this in hot water and lay my baby hairs um, i will be adding some foam onto the actual braid itself, just to kind of sit that flat On you were in you,
