Loose Fishtail Ponytail

Hi lovely so today I'm going to do this hairstyle it is a super gorgeous fishtail braid and it's really loose and very boho, and it's just really really fabulous. So you want to find out how to create this, then keep on watching. So, of course, I'm going to start off by adding my foxy locks extensions, and this is just going to really add some volume if your hair is lacking it, so I'm just gon na add them the same way as I would if I was doing a high Ponytail, so I'm just separating a section of hair, just like a little tiny ponytail at the back - and this is gon na - be the anchor for your hair extensions to wrap around and then it's up to you. You can either add to the hair band there, or you can just clip them around depending on if you're used to doing this, like I am or not so, there's gon na hold the hair out and I'm just gon na clip the hair extensions around that piece Of hair - and this is just gon na - really help them grab on and make sure they feel safe and sturdy in your hair and also don't hurt whatsoever. So this just is a really easy way of doing it. So I'm just gon na add a few pieces from my superior set and these are 230 grams, so I'm just gon na add about 3 or 4 pieces. So this is going to add lots of gorgeous volume. Obviously, you can add a whole set if you want to to make a huge volume or you can just add a couple of pieces depending on the look you want to go for and once you've clipped your hair extentions, then you just want to bring all your Hair back and I'm going to use two elastics for this, just to make sure that it hold that weight up and make sure that you know is super sturdy. So I'm just going to put my hair up into a high ponytail and then secure with the elastics. Once your heads up, you might want to choose to add another elastic, depending on how many extensions to cut in or what your natural hair is like. Obviously, you want to make sure it lasts and doesn't slip down. So I'm just going to add one more for extra security on my ponytail. It'S really important that your hair is really soft and silky to make sure that it's easy to braid, so just brush it out and make sure it's smooth. I always think it's nice to hide the elastics by taking a section of your hair and wrapping it around it. Just kind of adds a little bit more glamour to the ponytail, and just I don't know it just makes it look nicer, hiding the hide in the elastic so just wrap that around and then secure it with a hair grip. You now we're going to start the braid, so if you know how to do fishtail braids, then you'll know that they are really easy to do. So all you need to do is section your hair into two separate parts, so write down the middle section into two. Just like that, and then you're gon na take a piece from underneath of each side. So you're gon na take a piece from underneath, bring it over and join it on to the opposite side and make sure that bit is blended into the hair and then take a piece from the opposite side and then make sure that it's a decent sized piece. It can be big, it can be thin depending on the look you wan na go for, and you want to bring that over on to the opposite side. So, basically, each time you're, just bringing a very small section. Well, a smallish section of hair from the back of each side over to the opposite side, and it is so easy to do and that's the great thing about fishtail braids, then one of those braids where they look really complicated. But actually they are so easy. So you wanna keep repeating that take a section from behind one side, bring it over to the opposite side, to take a piece from the back, bring it over and join in with the other side. So yeah super easy, and you want to carry on like that. Until your braid is completed, it is a little bit more complicated doing it blind so doing it from the back like this, but you can set up a mirror in front of you, so you can actually see a bit better what you're doing, but once you get Used to doing fishtail, braid you'll realize how easy it is and how quickly it is to do, and this tutorial is really good for working your arms out. So just carry on doing that until you get to the end and once you get to the end, you just want to secure with the clear elastic and now to make this head star, really relaxed and kind of boho chic. I'M just gon na start pulling it out slightly just to create that really relaxed. Effortless look just generally pull in kind of manipulate the sections outwards, and this is just gon na make it look a lot softer and kind of bring all the sections together. So once you've got your desired look and then you're done and it looks so gorgeous. I love this hairstyle. As you can see, it was really easy to do so.
