Style 2 Ponytail And Feathered Side Bang

Hey, ladies, so today's video is a really quick video um, just an update video on my protective style, hair challenge. Today i have in a bang and a ponytail, which is one of the styles that i listed in my first introduction of our protected style video. I know y'all love the twist and i love the twist as well, but only with those for two weeks. I wanted to wear them for three or four, but they just didn't make them for that long. I probably could have stretched them, but i'm very particular when it comes to my braids, like once they start getting like old and they're, not as fresh. I tend to not like them as much so. The reason why i did not keep those in for that long is because they started to unravel on the bottom, and they also started to slip from the top and the way she did the top was she had rubber bands at the top of my hair, like Each each part or each section of my hair was part. It was sectioned off in um a rubber band, so it was like little ponytails all over my head and then all those ponytails were the twists. Somehow so um the older, the braids got the more the rubber bands show. So i just didn't think that that was a good look. So i went ahead and took those out on thursday. Now thursday, i washed and conditioned my hair and everything and thursday was the first day that i used the apogee apple shampoo, the apogee line. I used the shampoo for damaged hair and then i used the balancing the balance moisturizer or something like that to condition it with. Then i sprayed my hair with the leave-in conditioner and i did see some improvement on my hair as opposed to it's a line. That is uh specifically for damaged hair and it's supposed to strengthen the hair, correct this ph balance and other things as well. So i really like that line. I'M gon na continue to use it, and then i will give you a full review on it once i get like more products in that line and just on the shampoo and the conditioner, but probably later on, maybe within um, maybe a month or so i'll give It a month or two and then i can give you guys a full review, so um yeah today, i'm just working a ponytail in a bang, and i want to try to weigh this for two weeks. But i don't know the reason why i say i don't know it's just because it itches like so bad and i washed my hair and did everything and moisturized it before i got my hair like this, but it spritzed down and it's really hard so um. It'S just a cute little summer style, not too hot, it's very cool, so i have bonnet pieces in in the front and the ponytail is also bonded. I'M really not too um critical of glue. Being on my hair, i mean as long as you take it out correctly. It shouldn't damage it, so i'm going to use the glue remover to get these pieces out and then i'm just going to wet my hair and do my usual shampoo and conditioner routine. When i want to take this down and um, she used a stocking cap for the ball. Like the this part of the ponytail part of my hair and then like, i said it spritzed down really good, so it put it has like a barrier like a mold kind of. I guess you would say um on the top, so um yeah i mean i'm doing pretty good. I'M doing like i said, i'm continuing this hair journey. I do. I still do not have a relaxer, as you can see, so my ponytail isn't as sleek and as polished as i would like it to be, and i do put heat on my hair. I guess the only heat that i put on my hair is the blow dryer. I don't straighten it or anything like that. So thursday i did um use the blow dryer to kind of straighten my edges and kind of in between, so that it would be easier for her to manage, because i know transitioning hair can be a little bit more to work with. I still don't know if i want to transition completely or if i just want to get a relaxer, i'm not sure like i said my ponytail isn't as sleek as i would like it to be, and i know everyone loves slick, edges, sleek, hair and everything, but We'Ll see how it goes i'll, keep you guys updated on whatever it is. I hope you guys, like this style, i'll post some pictures at the very end. If you see a little highlight in this part of my hair, it's just some old virgin hair uh, the queen weave beauty, i believe, and the ponytail is a premium blend, synthetic ponytail, so nothing too expensive um. I think i paid 19.99 for the hair and the ponytail is a 16 16 18 inch or yes, 16 to 18 inch ponytail. And then this hair in the front is just like a collection of some really old hair that i've had before no telling how long and the front is a more feather and i will post pictures of how it was in the beginning. It was very, very pretty, but i just cannot curl how she had it curl. So this look is a very a little bit different for me. I haven't worn a ponytail in a couple of years, or so so i haven't done this style. So i really like this challenge because it's allowing me to get in touch with styles that i haven't done in a few years or so and just let me explore and get my hair break. So i hope you guys are still going strong in your journey and thank you for continuing to motivate me and i want to motivate you guys. So if you're wondering what's on my lips, i don't know if you can even tell i am wearing um retro red by nyc and i really don't wear wear lipstick. I just put this on for the video and i thought it was cute just to give me a little pop of color since my face is pretty um, neutral or whatnot. Also, i recorded a eyebrow tutorial for you guys because i know some of my local subbies and some of you guys sometimes comment comment on my eyebrows, so i wanted to give you guys a video on that, but um really, i just wanted to uh. I really don't know what to record like. I didn't want to give you guys, keep giving you guys updates on my braids, because it was very simple. Like i told you how long i was going to wear them and i gave y'all a pretty in-depth review or um video on the um twist not too long ago, so i don't know i know y'all haven't seen me, do any styles as of yet but um. I just i like getting my hair done as much as i can like. If i'm not doing a sew in, and i really don't do my hair and i know how i am like. If i do something, then i know it's not going to last as long as i would want it to, because i'm such a perfectionist and i'll keep trying to fix it. So i just let somebody else: do it and then like leave it the way it is so yeah, but videos of me doing my own hair will be coming soon. I hope you guys just enjoy the videos that i post, if you have any requests or any makeup requests any hair requests anything you want to see any girl talk of anything about college or anything just leave them in the leave comments in the description box down Below - and i can do that for you, so thank you guys for watching this video and i'll see so you
