Natural 4C Hair: Wash Day, Trim, Blow Out, & Flat Iron Routine + Updated Products

Hey y'all, thanks for coming to check out today's video, so as requested um, you guys wanted to see my natural hair and how it's looking a length check, and you know how I care for my natural hair. So here we go so. The first thing I use is always my chi heat protectant. It is the best heat protectant and base to start off a blow dry, and the next thing is my silk silkening serum. This is by Biosilk. Both of these items can be found in Marshalls, um or TJ Maxx. If you can't find them in your local Marshals or TJ Maxx, you can definitely order them off of Amazon, but I promise you they will be more expensive there um, but again you can find them in TJ Maxx I'll leave links down below to Amazon. If you want to grab them from there, because I highly highly recommend these two, they make the biggest difference in your flat iron. Your blow dry flat iron process, so don't skip those um whatever you need to do. Try to try to grab those, because I have used so many different products and those two together work. Amazing, um, also a good, shampoo and conditioner. You can never underestimate a good, shampoo and conditioner. I'Ve been using the hello Sunday, shampoo and conditioner in smooth and that stuff works amazing as well. Don'T ever underestimate a good blow dryer this yellow bird blow dryer I've been using. Since I started my YouTube channel. I still use it when it breaks. I buy it again because it is the best and the hottest blow dryer I've ever used. So next is I took off that black shirt because I was like I want you guys to be able to see what's going on and that black shirt was kind of hindering the process. So now that my hair is all the way blow dried, I'm going to section it into four sections. I do two small sections in the front one large section in the back and then I leave the part out that I'm going to start flat ironing the flat iron I'm using is the babyless in one inch. I want to get the one and a half inch, but y'all know these babyless um flat irons is expensive. So if somebody want to give me one um, yes, honey, just just email me and I will send you my P.O box, because yeah I need to get another one, because I really want the larger one. I think it'll make my flat ironing process a lot faster with the larger babyless flat iron, but I use the one inch because that's the one that I have I love this flat iron. I put it all the way up to 50.. My hair is, as you can see, you know 4C hair, so I put it to the highest setting and I try to hit the roots like two to three times and just one time down the hair shaft and I go very slowly down the hair shaft. I did speed this up, so this video isn't too long, but I promise you you guys when I go down the hair shaft, I go very very slowly because I want to only just do one pass, but I want it to get straight in that one time Everything I'm using in this video. So if I flat iron, my hair, I'm going to trim it, but I trim it very very lightly. I do not do a heavy trim on my hair because my hair is constantly being trimmed. If I did a heavy trim on my hair every single time, my hair would never. I would never see any growth because I do trim my hair every time I flat iron, it so um. Today, I'm just doing a very, very light trim and my hair has been doing really well with me doing a trim every time I um flat iron it. I usually only flat iron, my hair once every two months or so um, maybe not even that often maybe once every three months um, so my hair has been doing very very well with that. I find that it's very healthy, it's very silky and it's just very resilient and I am seeing some growth. Although growth doesn't really matter to me, because I actually cut my hair into a short bob, every fall um. That is because I'm a YouTuber um, I'm a hair influencer and having my hair shorter, makes it easier and faster for me to you know: do these Styles and manipulate my hair so every fall. I usually um color my hair, a light warm Brown last year. I did a honey blonde, so I actually bleached my hair and um, but usually I'll, just color a nice light, honey block, honey, blonde, a nice warm Brown and I will cut my hair short into a short bob, so yeah. This is what my hair is looking like right now, you guys I'm super happy with how healthy it is with you know this process and these products that I found that seem to really be working well for my hair, so I was considering cutting a bang. You guys, I don't know what you, what do you guys think I was like I felt like I should have cut a bang. I decided against it, but um. Let me know what you guys think if I should cut a bang into my hair foreign results. This is my hair right now, like I said, I'm pretty happy with how it's looking, let me know any products. You guys think I should try, especially for a shampoo and conditioner combo. I definitely want to try a new shampoo and conditioner combo. Although this one is working, really really really really really well, if you guys know of any other heat protectant that I could try out or any other silkening serum other than the bio silk and the chi, let me know I'm happy to test them out. Try them out for you guys and let you know my thoughts but, like I said this routine, that I've been doing seems to be working very well and look girl. I was like, oh, let me put my hair in a ponytail. Do I got some hang time? I got a little bit of hang time.
