Sleek Curly Ponytail Tutorial & Chit Chat

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, it's amina jahari here with another beauty, video. I look easy, but anyway, you're new to this channel, make sure you like comment and subscribe stay awhile. So today, i'm gon na be doing a high curly wavy ish ponytail, which i've never done before. Please excuse the sound in the back um. Everyone hates me here so whenever i want to film, they just do whatever so yeah. If i'm talking with a lisp also, i have my retainers in so first things. First um, i'm gon. Na be honest. I didn't wash my hair. I just took a sewing now and i'm gon na wash my hair after. I do this just because i didn't feel like it made sense to like wash my hair when i'm about to put my gel in it like exactly that's stupid and i'm only gon na probably with this ponytail like a day, maybe two so i'm gon na. Take my raggedy brush my water and i've never used this gel on my like, like to slick my hair, but i'm gon na use this gel for the first time um. Hopefully it works and yeah, let's get into it. First, i'm gon na spray, my hair, just so it's easier to manipulate. So what i do usually, if i'm gon na do like a high ponytail or a bun, i will try. I see that forehead um, but i usually put like a fake, not a fake, like i just do one loop around so that way i can really get everything up and then tighten it um. I don't think i'm gon na do too many edges, so i'm just gon na comb out a little bit of what i'm planning on leaving out um. Just because i should have known that song was stuck in my head. What song has been stuck in your head comment down below whatever song's been stuck in your head? You know what other songs are stuck in my head. This is so random. It'S a gospel song foreigner who falls down, and it's just that part. That'S stuck in my yoyo. I don't know why it's that part, but it's that part. Oh, yes, i'm just taking the gel and i'm sticking my hair over your just look at it. Then i'm going to take the brush and you like, take the brush. I just i've never done this either. I'Ve just seen. People do this and i'm just looking because it's been a while, since i've like really selected up my hair like i'm like do i even know how to do this anymore. I feel like i have a new song stuck in my head like every week. Sometimes it lasts a really long time. Sometimes it's months like months like the guys, have something stuck in my head for least a month yeah. So now, as you can see, yes lift that thing up and, let's maybe think of that's that dang, though, have you ever seen that video yo that video is hilarious. I i want my ponytail to be really high, like, as some of y'all may know, i used to be actually there. So i'm really big. I'M like i used to love that about she's eating high ponytails and bubbles. If i could wear a bow right now, i'm freaking good, but i'm old, so a bow in my ponytail would be ridiculous. I should get i'm gon na go get my mirror because i don't know what it looks like you. Do it like a showbiz day. That'S also my stuff in my head but loose head. Is that naughty? Second, all right? So now you're looking to the side, because, i'm literally in my mirror, i look mad funny for getting me into jocelyn's. Cabaret like i just didn't, want to watch it, but i'm like why am i watching jocelyn's cabaret no shade to jocelyn, but it's just like girl. I just really did not want to watch it because from this the clips i was like this look, a mess like and i'm like. Do she really have douchey? Does she really have a cabaret like, or is this just a show? You know, and just that's like how i saw she was, i can't freaking speak but the way i saw like from the clips that i saw and the way she was talking to them. I'M like oh, my girl, uh joseline. I don't know if i could watch this, but my friend convinced me to watch it and i finished it in like two days um because it was um girl. That show is amazed, a message all right, i'm feeling better. I'M feeling slick, y'all, see my everybody when i say the big forehead people was like, but it's because i did hide it like hey, i own, not only, but the main reason i do like baby hairs is to like take the mileage off on this thing. You know like it's, not even that it's like big. It'S more. I have a really long forehead, but my mama got a long forehead. My grandpa had a long forehead like i got their head, but girl. I really got that, like i, my best. I'Ve been friends with one of my best friends since 20 15, sixteen, probably early six like beginning of sixteen, and she never like one day we were on the phone i just wan na get when i got box braids and i was worried because i'm like yo These box braids, don't look crazy on me. I know my forehead be thousand bouncing. I was like yo, it's gon na look so bad i mean she was like if we're not even that big, but i had my wiggle, you know you bring a wig down a little bit, so i was like who don't have a big forehead. She was like, but i thought she had seen my forehead like prior too, and she never danced and she was like. Oh i, like yeah, oh says, like you know, i'm not looking to cure about it. I just think it's funny because i'm not look. I'M, like you see how that takes like a lot off of it, but yeah. Now, i'm just doing my edges a little bit, because i don't really know how i'm going to do edges i'm not really going to do much to them. I think i just want to do a little swoop here, two swoops in the front. I don't want to get too crazy if you watched my other video, i was talking about my edges and how they came out because of a wake install that actually got done. That was actually a frontal, the last time that somebody did my friend so because sometimes these stylists they just they don't know what they're doing when it comes to low hair like it's not it's really, not. I don't think it's uncommon, but like i guess not that common, that they just generally don't know what to do so. Um yeah it it messed up. My edges and i've been working on growing the bag a little better, but i honestly have not been like dedicated to it. Okay, so now, then i'm slick down i'm gon na, take my school off, so we're gon na tie that real tight. Now i'm gon na just braid it first, let's see if i wan na put that braid and about and listen. I did not come out my hair, i'm a joke. Okay, taking this bundle, it's going to look raggedy. This is lots of material. So what i'm gon na do is just freshen her up a little bit. You know, like i said this ponytail is giving two days max honestly three days mask because i might film another video with it. So that's the real team gon na take a bobby pin. Um, i don't know, do i want to, i think, i'm going to take the bundle, because it's going to be like a really quick point. I'M not sure i guess i keep saying i ain't sure how to stay in it. So i think ponies. I'M gon na. Take this end, i'm gon na put the bobby pin attach the bobby pin to it boom. So now i'm gon na this is the hard part. Now this attach i'm gon na, take the hair and just wrap it around the braids i wan na, be your favorite. I can't be the girl you need, i can't prove it if you leave so i take the bobby pin and i take the hair and i clip it into the braid. Well here we are, i'm gon na match the tracks exactly where to stop same thing. Take the bobby pin slide that that door right up in there and yeah and keep wrapping it now again, roon rule which i have but like not even a whole bunch of i probably just i don't even know if i have a whole bunch of left, because When i had this hair, i did like a half up half damn thing, so i got like bundles just laying around me. I don't know what i will do. Oh um. I think this hair, this top bundle. I don't think i ever used it because i'm like, why is the curl pattern so different, but i don't like that. I don't like it looks too too, so i didn't even put mousse on it. Maybe that's why i look like this too, put a little mouse on her because i don't know um yeah, so this is her. I'M gon na take a piece of hair. I don't like when people have the big old, like chunk of um, like of hair, to cover the track, so i'm just gon na take as thin as possible. I think i'm good with this and i'm just going to wrap it around so again it could just cover the track. I don't even think this is like a clear i don't know, but this thing i don't really want it to be like boom boom. Like super neat, okay, with it being messy, like that's kind of the point for me kind of - want a messy big look: okay, this looks a little nuts, so i'm gon na calm this up i'll be back.
