You can easily go from this to this, so if you want to see how I took my short hair and molded it into a low ponytail, so I could be able to rock styles like this, then definitely keep on watching this. I got you what is going on y'all, It's Your Girl, Carrie em, and we looking fly. We look it's so cute and before we get too deep hook, your sister up and click on that pretty red subscribe button. If you haven't done so already and if you don't want to miss any of my beauty, fashion or lifestyle videos turn on that notification Bell, I already know someone's going to ask me about the hair that I have and I will link it in the description box Below again, this video is all about molding, your ponytail and getting it ready for extensions, and things like that. So this is the foundation before you start adding extensions. If you want to see the detailed video of me installing this crochet into my ponytail, definitely check out the video Linked In the description box, because I'm very detailed in that video on how I prep the hair installed it and all of that okay. So, let's jump into the molding process, so I'm going to start off with adding some heat protectant because I'm going to be blow drying. My hair, which I highly recommend if you have short hair okay, especially if it's natural, because those roots y'all, have shrinkage. And it's going to be a little bit caked and stuck to the scalp. You need to elongate your hair and kind of stretch it out as much as you can to make it easier to work with. Okay. Now I do have some dry scalp, so I'm going to grease my scalp only because I'm gon na have this ponytail in for a while, and I don't want to be itching and dry. I don't recommend putting it all over your hair because it's going to look nasty when you start applying the gel. Now I did section off my hair. I have two cornrows for the edges and then I have the back and four sections and two sections in the front. Now I'm going to start the process of molding down my hair, I like to start in the lower section: that's going to be my anchor now. This is my favorite gel to use it's Ampro Pro style. If I have super hold, I'm gon na use, it didn't have it. This is regular if you have dark hair, it's absolutely perfect. If you have a lighter hair color, you can definitely use their clear ice. One that one is good too: I love their gels. Okay, I've been using it for years, so I'm just creating my anchor ponytail. This is the one that all of the ponytails are going to be connecting to. So you want to make sure this one is nice and smooth and tight, because this is holding it all down. This is your foundation. Okay, um! This one is going to be the easiest one, you add your ponytail, you don't need to blow dried or anything, keep it pushing so now we're going to work our way up and we're going to take out the two sections right above it and we're going to Brush those into this section now this is when it starts to get a little bit tricky, because obviously your hair is short. If you're watching this video and not all of the hair, is going to literally fit into the ponytail like we did in that lower section. So it's really really important to make sure you smooth it out really really good and get it as close to the scrunchie or ponytail, as you can and add that second ponytail so right now at this stage I would recommend you hitting it up with some heat And blow drying it because all of the little ends probably did not make it through that Loop of the scrunchie, because your hair is short like mine, so using a blow dryer is going to dry the hair in place. So that way, the hair, doesn't you know Ravel back up and do what I want to do. You know hair be acting funny, we're now in the most important stage, and that is the front of the head and you want to make sure you get that all up in there. Okay, because you don't want to have like lumps and bumps and stuff you want. The front to be very, very smooth the higher you go, the more difficult it is and the more product you need to use. To be honest with you now we're going to be doing a lot of smoothing. Smoothness here is very important. As you can see, the hair is short, so there's no way that this hair is going to make it to this crunchy stage like what we're basically doing is just brushing the hair into the hair. That'S already um. I don't even know how to describe it, just just watch what I'm doing we're brushing the hair down, smoothing it in as much as we can, I'm not going to add the scrunchie. Yet I'm going to do the other side too, because I want to make sure that they're, even and they're going it's going to be looking like one ponytail or not two ponytails. If that makes sense, so a lot of a lot of smoothing, you can definitely take your time if you need to add more gel, definitely do that. You want to make sure that the hair is flat flat flat. That'S what I like about this gel. It will get your hair, nice and flat um. It is. It is like a some wet kind of gel Bell. So if you have natural hair natural Roots, it will definitely add a little bit of a little bit of um curl up as you can see. So you know if that does happen, we'll deal with that after and I will show you how so once you smooth it out you're gon na add your last Little ponytail okay, so that is the base. Now we have the base, we're going to add a little products and get the last little pieces all around the area brush it in add another scrunchie. If you need to do so, if you see here sticking up out of it or whatever and we're gon na blow dry, we're gon na dry that sucker down now this gel dries down really really nice. It doesn't leave any white residue or anything like that. That'S why I love the Ampro gel, especially the dark colored one. This is really important. Y'All, you need to add you. Some hairspray hairspray is going to make sure that the hair is hard and it doesn't budge and it doesn't go anywhere because we have short hair. You know we have flyaways and things of that sort, so you want to make sure that the hair is staying, puts okay, so that hairspray is really important. And honestly, I really really love that bed head hairspray that I'm using because that thing ain't, no joke it will get your hair straight up Rock Solid y'all, so the hair is definitely not going to be moving. My hair, I can't move. I won't move my head and y'all know that's something so anyways um, yes, we're gon na get that nice and molded. Now, like I said, if you have short hair, there is a possibility that there might be a little bit of flyaways still budging around, which I have right there in the center. I have really short hair in that section, so I went back in with some of the gel and I smoothed it right back in and I added the uh Heats so you're gon na do exactly what you did. The first time add the same products, the gel and then you're gon na add the spray. I did add some spray and I dried that as well y'all once you do, that you go ahead and take a little bun twist it as much as you can. It probably can't do too much with it, because it's short, like mine, but you're gon na try your best you're gon na put it in a little bun, and that is how I mold my hair to get like cute low, ponytail hairstyles. I like this. So with super duper freaking easy, and that is my process if you, ladies, are interested in the braids and Edge gel that you see me adding to my edges again. That is in that other video, where I did the entire like look, you can click on the link in the description box and definitely get there, but I will put a link directly to that product in the description box for you. If you want to just go and pick it up, okay, so, ladies, let me know that process was easy to follow. Let me know in the comment section. Let me know talk to your girl. If you have any questions about anything that you see me do, if I didn't explain something right comment down below, and I will definitely help you out, okay, so I'm gon na go ahead and wrap this video on up. I know I look cute girl, so I'ma tell y'all again if you want the beats and see the full install of this here and get the review on the edge control then definitely hit up the video that's Linked In the description box, but I'm gon na go Ahead and Dibble, not here I'll, see you later get y'all ponytails rocking. Ladies okay, I got you right, get your ponytails rocking okay from short to longer 2.5 seconds, peace out,

Utopia K.: Loving your look! That fuisha/pink eyeshadow is Beautiful style… I just recently cut all my hair off … will have to try this when it grows back

Angelmika: Love the technique and the look ❤. I have been trying to find a gel that will lay my 4c curls down cuz my hair will absorb the gel like a sponge.
