Curly Hair Ponytail In Under 4 Minutes

This is a simple tutorial showing my curly haired friends out there how to quickly get an elegant and everyday ponytail. Enjoy !
Here are the products I used in order :)
1. Tresemme Dry Shampoo to help with teasing/excess oil
2. Black Label Boar and Nylon Brush for teasing
3. Thin rubber band to hold the ponytail
4. Aveda Be Curly Serum to reshape curls
5. Big Sexy Hair Spray to hold curls and ponytail in place
Hey guys, I'm quickly going to show you how I do a ponytail for curly hair and, as you can tell my hair's curly, I just slept in like a little low, ponytail, but sort of looks like I'm literally gon na show you how to do this, and Hopefully, under five minutes because I actually have to go run to class, so let's get started okay, so the first thing that you want to do is tease your front layers so that the so that they're not like completely flat. So, starting from the front, I'm gon na take out this section for my bangs start, taking section by section and just kind of spraying it with my dry shampoo and then teasing it. This is the Tresemme Fresh Start dry, shampoo that I really really like. So just spray it and Earths, and then you want to let it dry for a couple of seconds and then you can go ahead and start teasing and I'm just using this brush right here. It'S the Black Label, pure boar, a nylon brush, and I think I got this from brush love calm. So I'm just going to tease that and take the next section, it's really important when you're taking sections to keep them smaller, and I think this is gon na. Be my last section not a lot of teasing just a little bit so bring your hair back brush it down over the t's. You know what I'm gon na tease this sides a little bit too. That way they kind of match up and then I'm going to start bringing it into a ponytail. Make sure that all the sides are even that you have all the hair up and then I'm just going to start tying it in place with just a regular hairband make sure you tighten that and I'm gon na use my fingers to kind of loosen it up. A bit everywhere, not just the part we teased like that and then for the curls right here, I'm going to use a little bit of serum. This is by Aveda. It'S called be curly, just like one pump and I'm just gon na start scrunching it into my hair and then take your hairspray. Do your final spray and then spray your curls okay guys, so that is it for my curly hair ponytail. That'S all I do in the morning. Kayleigh Noelle: @Watermelooon When I pull my hair out with my fingers, I find that it holds better throughout the day if I teased it previously. If I dont tease it, my hair goes super flat after a few hours. It's good to have the dry shampoo in there as well to absorb the excess oil. But no, you dont have to tease ! I just prefer it.

Kayleigh Noelle: @Gacutiecurvygirl Lol exactly :D I find that doing it this way with these extra steps keeps the look in place all day. If I had just thrown it up in a ponytail and ran out the door it would look flat and greasy :(

Deepak Sharma: Dear commenters you should understand that you can not make pony tail of top to bottom curls ( common sense ) but we try to make ponytail of little wavy hair or curls in only bottom hair , so thats what she was doing.

14chevan: How do you get your hair like that in the first place. I have really thick wavy/curly hair pretty much like you lol. N when i put it in a pony tail the pony looks messy in a bad way rather then curly. N the front is all bumpy n has like bent marks in it so i cant make it look smooth and look nice :( If i dont comb my hair after i shower my curls are more defined but then my hair gets huge? wat should i do? thanks in advance :)
