Curly Hair Tips : Ponytail Styles For Curly Hair

Hi my name is marty. I work with salon republic, i'm in studio 1a and today i'm going to show you how to do a ponytail on curly hair. The beauty with a ponytail is that it can be a really nice way to quickly leave the house and still have your hair in sort of a kept sort of manner. Now with curly hair in the morning, when you wake up, it can be sort of fuzzy. On the ends, so that can sort of be a bit of an issue. But if you focus a lot of the about, if you focus a lot about the hair around the face, you'll find that the rest of the ponytail will sort of fall into play. So you're going to need hairspray and some sort of either a comb or a brush to smooth the hair down. So you simply apply hairspray around your face, pretty liberally, the more you comb, the tighter your ponytail will get on curly hair. I find it not very effective to really comb. I think you should casually use your fingers to comb the hair accordingly to take hairspray and smooth those fuzzies down before you put the hair into the actual ponytail and the hairspray will actually add smoothness and shine to the hair. They make actual ponytail binders, which are a very soft rubber. So using rubber bands is not an option taking a binder into the ponytail and just twisting it a couple of times, they're very strong. You can take your ponytail and tighten it at that point. You can take some more hairspray smooth down your fuzzies, i'm marty and that's how you do a ponytail on curly hair
