High Straight Ponytail On Short Hair Tutorial Feat. Black Beauty

What'S up, you guys welcome back to youth diaries if you're new here welcome, my name is faith maita and today we are going to be doing a hair review and i'm going to be showing you guys how i achieved this look and how i installed this ponytail. So this hair is from black beauty. Last time i mentioned, i was going to do a video of the ponytail, and that is what we're doing today, i'm going to be showing you guys how to install it and how to style it. So what you're going to be needing for this are some hair clips, combs bobby pins and, of course, hair bands. So before we get started, i would love to give a lot of thanks to the people that are supporting this channel and for those who haven't subscribed. This is your time to subscribe, so without further ado, let's get into the video okay guys so i've just washed my hair and blow-dried it, and i know i need a trimming but anyways i'm not going to be doing that today, but another time. So what i'm gon na be doing is just jumping into the video and taking my flat iron heating it up to 200 degrees. Well, this goes up to 240, but i normally like to stay between 180 and 240. So, whilst it's heating up, i'm just gon na be straightening my hair with a comb and sectioning my hair, just because i like flat ironing with sectioned hair okay. So i'm gon na go ahead and section this hair into four parts and just secure the hair parts with this hair clips. Okay, so my flat iron has heated up to 200 degrees and i'm gon na be starting with this section, and it is very important guys to use heat protective cream on your hair before you flat iron, it just to prevent it from damaging and breaking out. So i'm just going to be applying this onto this section and on every section before i flat iron it and guys ps, i'm gon na be linking the ponytail details in the description box below from black beauty. So you can go ahead, click on it and you can get whatever ponytail you want. They do not only have the straight ponytails, but also for natural hair, so you can check it out. So i'm just going to be going ahead and flat ironing all of my hair and yeah. What'S up okay, so i finished flat ironing off camera, and this is the result, and what we're gon na do is we're gon na need our hairband and we're gon na tie our hair. What i'm gon na be doing right now is tying my hair on the mid front. Basically, just because i belong to the big forehead gang and it wouldn't look nice if the ponytail is further down my head, so i just want to tie it up and you want to make sure that it's tight so that it looks better. I mean it looks better when it's tighter than when it's loose so tie it up, and what you're going to do is to braid that little thing, that's sticking out of your head, your ponytail! Basically, your natural ponytail, okay, so i've done braiding it and what i'm gon na be doing now is taking my eco, styling, gel and fixing my edges. So i'm gon na be doing this off camera and this eco styling gel you can get it online or any african store. Okay. So i've done my edges, and this is what it looks like. I do not like those intense looking edges. I like it to look natural so now i'm just going to be taking my ponytail, and this is what it looks like it has got this clip on the inside and these things on the sides that stick onto each other. When you like fold it - and then you know clip it in so that it just stays in position, so you just want to take note of that and let's get into wearing this ponytail what's up so for this part, you're going to be needing your bobby pins. Just to secure the ponytail, because it is so silky and you want to keep your ending in place so that it doesn't slide off and for this i'm gon na be using two of them and i'm just gon na be combing it out, so that it looks Neat, okay, so guys this is the end result, i'm really happy. It looks so gorgeous, but anyways guys like i said you need to check out the black beauty website for those who do not want to straighten their hair or relax it.
