Hey guys welcome back to my channel I'm back with another video, and this is a bit different from what I'm I would normally do, and this is a sensitive type of video. So if you know you know that's per person that can you know, handle sensitive images out to suggest you just click off, and this was actually conversation I was having with my man the other day. He was actually the one having the rant, and I just you know I just got inspired. I was like why not you know, make a video of it and let's talk about this, let's get into the video, so we have this aunty she's an aunty. I believe and just dying I hate dying, a hair eyebrow. I'Ve done everything. Look at that look. Look at that! Are you proud of yourself, like you're, really proud of yourself right now? Look at that. I can't believe this. That is a mess like that. That does just that that ain't here, no more, she ain't got no hair. Just look at that. Look at the edges. What are you dying? What I can I just can't? I can't we need to stop with the chemicals we need to stop with the damaging protective styling. It'S nothing, copper, textile ooh! Look at that! That is that's disgusting! First of all, how do you walk around with that on your head? How like how that is mat disgusting? I can't believe that is a human, be like a breathing human being walking around the streets with that on her hair. That'S that's I kind of like this. I don't even think how that smells like that is disgusting. That is just disgusting. Look at this look at this like how why we just stayed that long with a weave or wig or whatever ideas you have on you, why I was actually having around to my man the other day. Actually, he was the one having the rant. He was talking about how black women takes so much pride in taking care of their wigs rather than their hair, and I was like you know you have a point there. He was like he was going on and on. I dont like chilled, like babe chills, really not that cheap, but i didn't read that gateway it's coming from, like we have future generations to come' future little princesses to come. Is this what we're gon na be teaching them? Is this worgen is that is this how they look at that? That is disgusting like how long did she keep that stuff doesn't mean each though? How do you go that far without washing your hair? Look at this idiot, for example, this is she's an idiot first of all, so, let's just put in glue in the wig, I think that's a wig and she's literally gon na glue that thing to our head. Tell me why, like why, at the end of the day, yeah taking care of your hair, it's really not that hard, it's not as hard. It is not as hard as we make it seem. It is difficult, it is challenging. It is hard it is. It is time-consuming by the end of the day that is your god-given. Hey, your hair is beautiful, our hair is beautiful, people Envy. I would love to have our hair, but we have it. We don't know what to do with it. We don't know how to look at that. Look at that then be there completed and have edges, because you keep doing styles that are damaging to your scarf like these are know. Like you know, these are permanent damages. Your hair is not coming back from that. Look at that! Oh, my goodness. What is that? Oh goodness, that is what happened. Oh my goodness, i disgusted that is disgusting. Look at this idiot! This is like she's like The [ __ ] of all the morons. Look ha ha, look ha ha! You think you think you're slaying like that yeah, you think it's lame you're actually stupid. That'S what you are you actually strip! You look at what they're doing. Look at that look. There'S no edges the oh, my goodness. What is going on yeah glue embrace to that babies? Is that what? Oh, my god, oh Jesus, Lord, that is, that is a skin like she just with the hair. What are they Brady Brady has gained. That'S that hurts dad just looking at that hurts. Oh, my goodness, Lord, why black women why we need to do better? We need to take up our hair better, it's not as difficult as we making same guys. It is not as difficult stop with the damage in styling. The damage in you know over over tight braids, the the useless wigs that you don't check off for six months. How do you go six months without taking up your weave? Look at that once one once you start we like them, but they might be bred in his kingdom. What is it that? Is it really that deep to probe read the skin? Does he have to be like that? Like I don't understand, why did they have to do that? Just look at this. This is disgusting. She'S got passing that she's got passing that when you start getting those yeah. That is how why, like, we need to do better look at this baby. Look at this baby like we can teach our children. This is not the way that child that child is is in pain. That child is in pain. That baby would have probably would be five years old. How is she gon na sleep? How look our neck? You can feel that she's in pain, I'm my heart, bleeds for that baby, how mothers we need to do better black women. We need to do better. We need to do better women. We need to do better. This is not the way. Look at that baby. Look at that baby, she isn't she's in severe pain. I can feel her pain. Oh my gosh, no baby, oh goodness, Lord, that is that is mad. Then she ain't got no edges anymore, but she still doing waves. Look at that another one. I can. We need to do better guys. We need to do better, let's teach the future generation that is a better with our hands beautiful. Let'S take the minimo just in minimal effort to take care of it. Just wash your hair once a week. Moisturizer put it on that. Wig, but like not don't live, do we get to sit forever? Take up your hair, underneath your wig, I'm not say wearing wig is bad. I'M not saying protective styling wrap or do it the right way. Do it properly doing the right way guys? This is not the right way. This is damaging like it's giving us like permanent damages like I'll scar. It'S it's not even funny. Look at this, I am I just I just can't like I cannot. I mean our heads beautiful, that the versatility to our hair is beautiful, can do so much with our hair, but I think at this point we are overdoing. I think this one we're abusing of the protective styling, the universality or whatever you want to call it. If this is become like it's just it's just not funny anymore, it's not it's not cute anymore. It'S just it's just got of hand. We need to do better. We need to do better. I hope the future generation learns to love the natural hair. Even if it's not matter, even if it's relaxed boy, you know baby, how would you say be be wise with it don't overdo it do with the chemicals and you relax your hair and you bleach your hair on the same damn thing: who's that stupid who's, that Stupid to relax and bleached your hair the same day, I don't understand, I don't get it. Why would you? Why would you pray for someone? My goodness is that blood. Oh Jesus, not like this. This is mad. First of all, my question is who's gon na. Take that down like she's like we're gon na, I can't I just can't it's mad guys, it's just my I just I just wanted to do something different today, just like bring awareness to like I know we all know about this, but like we need to do Better and and just take more care of our hair off because at the end of the day, that's what's gon na stay with us forever yeah you can buy the Brazilian wigs and the Peruvian and whatever the Indian, but any day your hair is your crown. You need to take care of it. We need to do better black women. We need to do better, see you my next video guys, bye,

Pedrina Costa Lisboa: I feel sad for the little girl (wearing pink clothes). Those braids looks so heavy and hurting her scalp

yannaababyyy3: " awwl what happened , i feel so baad " 2 seconds later " look at this idiot " !

02Nawal: Instead of spending all this money on wigs and weaves why not spend the money on treating your natural hair and letting it grow long.

Alice Serpaz: As a latina who could NEVER grow this type of 4c hair and being jealous of natural black hair i cant understand why anyone would hide and even damage hair thats so beautiful and special

MilouDivyne: This video made me appreciate my hair even more!

Nikia Rogers: I dont understand why there are over thousands dislikes of this video. She is telling the truth. Our hair is beautiful if we give it a chance. Take the time to nurture it. On top of that, why not love what you were born with...just saying‍♀️

Cailyn Maxwell: Y’all also have to realize that not everyone bald spot came from braids. Some peoples hair looks like that due to alopecia and there is only so many ways to get your hair‍♀️ we definitely should take care of our hair but some stuff isn’t that easy

Monicamkup Martínez: I don't understand this type of neglected behavior. I spent more than 25 years of my life straightening my hair, it looked death, opaque and weak. I finally found out my hair was suffering so I stopped, it took me 3 years to get my hair back. And now it looks, bright, full of life and beautiful. I'm not using chemicals or any other type of tools to straightening my hair, also I was never a fan of extensions or wicks. I'm just me, I let my hair to grew up wild and free and I never received so many compliments

Eboni H: Chile once taking care of your hair becomes a habit, you’re good

Lin Lin S: Nobody: Izy: I can't believe this is a breathing human being

Laurel: I feel like you are the Gordon ramsay of black hair. That is a compliment

Carola E.: Black women love braids, however basic care means getting them done every few months. Hair stylists don't care how tight they braid, and women don't complain. Also, many don't bother to take down the braids themselves.

Zero_BS_Tolerance: Embrace your natural beauty, ladies!!

TG Heaven.: her accent makes it 10x better

Tenndona has a foot fetish: One time i bleached my hair so bad it started falling out and was gummy, so i went bald and the difference when it grew back was insane. Yall please take care of your hair fr, im lucky mine grows pretty fast otherwise id be really patchy rn

christiearmanie heywood: My hair is short.... No bleach No chemical No dye And it still looks beautiful

Brenda Aiko: Black women you can wear weave and extensions if you want to. These protective styles actually help grow my hair a lot and help a lot of other people. But make sure it’s done correctly or professionally. Your hair should not be being yanked or glued on

nekomancer ༉‧: For all the people saying it's easier to have your natural hair out: no tf its not. It takes A LOT of time and money to take care of this hair type and i cannot blame anyone for wanting to use a weave or just rock braids instead. It also seems like these cases are people who unfortunately do not care/do not know how to take care of their hair while they are in protective styles. I think every black woman should be allowed to wear whatever style of hair they want, whether its natural or synthetic.

Pxppy✔: I love my natural hair, even if I were to wear weaves I would still care for my natural hair.

Got KEYS Studio: "your hair is your crown and we need to take care of it" -i love it

msteach: Black women must stop putting that heavy fake hair on these children. If their hair is short, so what?

ItsChickyNuggy: This woman would be yelling at me, me from years ago when I dyed my hair every month. I bleached my hair almost every month. I have light waves and I'm white Girl you better tell them to take care of their hair. (My hair is still recovering from the damage.)

SANDRA Reynoso: I am mexican, and I believe that black hair is beautiful, i understand is hard to maintain, that is why I admire so much girls who take care of their hair whitout damaging themselves. Thank you.

Nikko E: I hope the next hair craze is wearing our real hair, relaxed or natural. Man I'm crying for the kids in the video because they have no choice.

tyler.noelle890: I relaxed and dyed my hair like about two weeks apart one time. It didn’t end well of course. Idk how I thought that was a good idea but the middle of my hair was so broke off and wouldn’t grow past the breakage no matter what I did. Eventually I had to cut it to my shoulders to start all over. Thank God it grew back and I vowed to never ever damage my hair ever again. That lesson made me take my haircare more seriously!!

Lixxe: This is what you call a horror movie.

Keni Beni10: This video made me realize how good I got it with my hair. Yeah it gets nappy and a bit coarse sometimes but at least I have edges and I’m not putting in chemicals that could damage it. Thank you. ❤️

Debbie Finch: Vanity in extreme! My heart is bleeding for these beautiful ladies who believe they need to inflict this pain on themselves AND WORSE STILL -their children!! AS you said - poor babies - the pain. I have been criticised by black women in the past for braiding in merino dreads and have been told that white womens' hair is not designed for it but i am very careful how tight i do the braids and i only leave them in for 10 to 12 weeks and gently wash my hair and dreads with a little baby shampoo once a week. These ladies here - well - i just feel so sad that they do not see how beautiful they are. xx

Lutendo Mulaudzi: I stopped putting on braids in 2016, I've been leaving a South African dream since then. Clean hair, clean sculp and smells great

Jacqueline Monjowa: I am so glad I am seeing this. Every time I wash my hair and refuse to dye it or use any chemicals on it,I get laughed at. I love my hair the way it is. Thanks for sharing girl

Johnnydrizzle: I dont think that she was trying to be funny but I laughed out the entire video

sofa: thank you for this, I never have put anything damaging in my hair, and its always been very healthy, but I needed to see what were the effects of this to our hair. ill be sure to stay more aware now

Josselyn Rashford: Because of dying and using heat on my hair for about 6 years 6 months ago I had to shave my head for a new start. I learnt my lesson and I’m glad I shaved it. It looks and feels so much healthier

Wisdom's Child: Thank you for this video! All of the damage you showed is due to lack of maintenance and non professional stylists. We tend to blame the stylists and the styles when the problem is lack of care and cheapness.

Autumn: This is the reason my mom is teaching me how to take care of my hair at a young age, teach your children that their hair is beautiful, in the scosioty that we live in it's really hard for a young black woman/girl to think they're beautiful

Avakin Movies: And they be the ones saying “why my hair ain’t growing”

kgatliso sekhweta: Me watching this video and having flash backs of the time my grandmother took me to get my hair done and the lady nearly killed me with these tight ass braids This happened in 2017. I still have nightmares to this day

Viking Queen: The first video reminds me of what I did to my hair... It used to be down to my butt, I bleached it so many times it started to turn into mush and I had to let it grow out and dye it back to brown and haven't touched it for 3 years and it's no where close to how long it used to be . Ladies if you do anything with your hair get it professionally done. Also don't do anything risky to your self ofc but your scalp, beauty is not what's important, HEALTHY is, you are born beautiful in every way.

Phoebe Garrett: Ahhhhh! I feel hurt about my hair now even though I just did it today now this is pain all in one vid. Awww poor little girl I feel sorry for her her mom needs to realize that not everything needs to be perfect with hair styles.

JustAnOpinionSincerelyNoOffense: Even though there were graphic images, thank you very much for this video. I am Indian, have curly, frizzy hair so I have been thinking of getting braids. But when I see photos of different braids, I would wonder about the pain. This video taught me that some braiding stylists can damage your scalp and hair. And oh my God that poor, sweet child...children don't question their parents' decisions, they suffer them

IAM FRE'NA ROBINSON HOPE: This is so horrible!! We as black women should adore our hair ....

Sampson Ugoezi: I still wonder why anyone would pit themselves in so much pain in the name of looking beautiful.

Brittany Lightfoot: I rarely do braids because I’m tender-headed. I love wigs! Just got to make sure the person installing your wig does the bald cap method. To remove your wig, you can use an alcohol pad or the lace remover spray or just get a glue-less install. I started installing my own wigs too to help protect my hair.

Alexandros: Ladies your natural GOD given hair (If taken care of and loved) will always be much more beautiful than using harmful braids. Embrace your natural beauty!

autumn hughes: The things people do to themselves for beauty is crazy. Great vid

MetalMassacre: Thank you for this video. It’s so necessary for many to see this. I agree hair is challenging, but just keep it simple.

MusicandDancing4Ever: I got my hair done for the first time in years. It was cute but I couldn’t stand the weave, the braids under, always braided too tight, the itching, it felt uncomfortable. I took it out., I’m just gonna work on my own hair. I may get laughed at now but I’ll get the last laugh when my hair grow.

Miranda Speck: A girl I use to know would get her hair done every month by her cousin. She would have burn marks on her head and her braids were so tight that they physically lifted her eyebrows. She complained about headaches. In all honesty, she didn’t even need braids he nature hair was beautiful and long. What bothered me the most is that she says natural is beautiful but then she would torture herself with braids. I tried to tell but then she would always say that ‘I know mouthing of black girls hair’ I just hope she doesn’t have permanent damage down to her even if she doesn’t talk to me anymore.

Mollie-Mai Ellmer: My hair was so matted but not like this, me and my mum and dad were jokingly saying we should cut it. And I said, why not? It's gonna feel amazing and I cut it all off (it was shoulder length and so beautifully curly) I haven't regretted it and it's been THREE months. x

GirlieQueenSheen: This is why I do my own hair every 2 weeks. I don't trust anyone with my hair because they try to make you bald on purpose because they are bald.

Sharnae Pegues: The people who disliked this video are the same ones doing this to their own hair.

spacey: I wear my hair natural and im letting it grow out, but when I want it straight, I straighten it, and tbh, I feel like straightening you hair (if you do it right) can be way less harmful than these wigs and glue. But this is just from my experience.

MARY JEAN Eri XAVIER: "Why are they braiding their skin? Why?"

karlos _infamous: This is why I have so much admiration for Team Natural girls they chose to go natural and take care of their natural afro hair free from harmful chemicals, braiding techniques and awful weaves.

Liv :D: “Look at this idiot” with her accent I died I love this

Dawn Hammond: I'm gonna be honest this only happens if you leave them in too long and it only ruins your hair if you dont take care of it. I should know bc I do this in my hair alot and I also suffer from a dry scalp but it is not as bad as the video shows it when you take it out bc you are using fake hair so I kinda dont believe this

Its_all_hypocrisy: I just finished going back-and-forth with someone about how these styles are not protective! Some black women get so offended you bring that up.

The Farmhouse Goddess: I don't want to ridicule these women because they're brainwashed and traumatized. But it's just ridiculous at a certain point. Black women, your hair is beautiful, you are beautiful as you are and anyone who talked you otherwise had their own issues that have nothing to do with you. There are a plethora of youtubers who will teach you to care for your natural hair and embrace your own beauty standard. I used to wear weave and tracks as well, why? Because I was trying to mimic someone else's phenotype, someone else's standard of beauty. Stop hiding behind the "protective styling" and "it's too hard to care for my own hair" and "I just like variety" tropes and learn to love yourself. I promise you will feel more genuine and receive more positive attention when you wear your own natural hair. I speak from experience and I say these things with love.

Ari J: "Oh my goodness is that blood ?!" I lost it at that moment. You have a great speaking voice.

Pink Kush: this commentary got me weakk “look at this idiot”

Michelle Valencia: A Caucasian women came up to me in the store she loved my curls she said she wishes her hair was like mines, she said she doesn't understand why some of the women of our race hid their hair under wigs and weaves. This is so sad I'm proud of my hair I hate wings, God gave me this hair and it's beautiful.

Serena05 Jackson: I love how you say, "Look at this idiot." I get used to these accents because my parents have these accents too since I'm from Nigeria but I grew up in America all my life

Mouna Azulay: You're so true girl ❤

plis plas: When I was a child I asked my mum to straight my hair and she made with care, despite that my mum said to me to stop the use of the straighteners,And today I am healthy afro curly hair, and I'm so proud of that,my hair is virgin in chemicals processes.I live in Spain and my hair always be different, but God blessed us making us all beautiful and special

Lacy-ann Brown: I love how you went from "OMG what happened" to *"Look at this IDIOT"*

Eva Eilea: It’s sad that some people hate their so much that they don’t care about the pain or permanent damage. I don’t have type 4 hair but type 3. I didn’t know back the days how to look after it, I’ve done a big chop 2 months ago and I don’t follow those crazy videos that tell you to put so many products then do this hairstyles, etc... my hair can be very dry but I stick to products that work for me and a simple routine. It’s easier as it’s short for now but I would simply - put avocado oil as a pre-poo and castor oil on the roots - shampoo - our conditioner and leave it for a few minutes - finger detangle the big knots then use tangle teezer - rince a bit - apply a curling cream with a little jojoba oil on top (by section) - brush sections with denman brush and crunch a bit - diffuse a little as it takes hours to dry That’s it and it last for 7 days ☺️

Andrea LCS: You have opened my eyes to so many things. THANK YOU!

Amak elle: "Why are they braiding their skin"

please save our earth: Thank you for reminding me how beautiful and important my Afro hair is

Taylor Bonaparte: “doesn’t it itch tho???” LMAO I CHOCKED

Deanna Tanner: I can’t comment on these styles except to say that I constantly admire black women’s hair. The colour, the beautiful texture. So beautiful. I’m a middle aged white woman and I’m jealous of such full locks! Live your best life!

Thornbird 67: Ladies grow your natural hair out , learn how to care for your hair type . Some of the scalp damage in this video is irreparable ❗️ I’m a hairdresser I know what I’m talking about .

S1lverspike: 80 billion dollars in the us. This pains me to see my sisters go through this. I’m glad you put this out here.

Juninzone: If this continues it's only a matter of time until they start dying from this in mass numbers, I've once heard a youtuber talking about worms in a weave that dug into a woman's skull, than she later on died from it. No disrespect but I would expect the most educated race of women to educate themselves and other black women on the damages their doing to their hair.

$N_12: In the video, I also get an ad about wigs and how they know "our struggle" There's really no struggle in this.

Natalie Laird: This is a great awareness video !!

Trevor bekun: ILL BE DAMNED IF I LET MY WIFE DO THIS TO MY DAUGHTER OR TO HERSELF AS MATTER OF FACT!!!

Missaj imas: I really appreciate what are you saying for black women community and you are so right♥️ thank you

TheFirst Idiot: people are disliking because of her insults its called tough love sis

Hearts for Christ Homeschool: It seems to me that if their hair is like that most of them are homeless . My heart hurts for them. But I'm glad someone is helping them

VeraPlayZ: "Why would u pay for tha- oh my goodness is that blood!!" I laughed the entire video in my head

Shailene Day: Sometimes I wonder why we black women can't just enjoy our lovely natural hair, they are so many styles we can put our own hair in smh. The other races hate us because we're different, we are the only race that has kinky hair

Golden Matthews: Hello and thank you for sharing such video. While I can appreciate the what not to do and let get done to the hair, I must say that it was very painful to watch. I have seen some women hair in some of these same conditions. Have an awesome day on purpose!!!

N T: My heart goes out to that little girl. I know she is in pain. Her face said it all. Poor baby!

Zarzar: One of the reasons why my parents broke up was because of my mom constantly braiding my scalp I was begging my mom to stop doing my hair like that she didn't listen my mom didn't listen I'm still getting my hair braided like that till this day, my mom gets mad at me when I do take out my hair but it always hurt:( She don't listen to me nor my dad

Fox Todd: Wow I didn’t think it was that bad. Poor children. Y’all have beautiful hair. Be proud of your natural hair. My cousin has beautiful tight curls. It’s a lot harder to tame, but it’s worth it to have healthy hair.

yaya ': I love how she says "ideot" keep up the good work luv♥️

kyle cooper: As a guy, it honestly confuses me to no end to see women do these things to their own gorgeous locks. Why change it at all? God already gave you amazing hair

Noel Toliver: You can do whatever you want with you hair! The point of it is to keep the hair HEALTHY. Anything that is going to harm you hair, you shouldn't do.

Barbara Lugo: I am Hispanic and black woman have beautiful natural hair they need to love and embrace what you have. Watching these images makes me cringe :(

Tamira Fateen: I love braiding my hair but looking at this im reconsidering ever getting a wig and watching how my hair is getting braided

Ese Anna: I did a center part cornrow once and I had to take it down the next day because it got me bleeding and it took me two years to get my hair back. Now I am afraid of doing any center part braid style.

Jade Hanson: This made me want to cry. People are giving themselves traction alopecia and skin infections instead of loving their natural hair. I’m all for a good wig on anyone now and then but this is madness.

Chadney Ennals: This was nasty to my mom I was so satisfied but I loved it this is awesome I love you

A Pigeon: i am a native/slavic girl with bone straight staticy hair. I asked an old Jamaican lady what to use, because conventional products were just making it worse. Jamaican Castor oil and lavender, and DONT WASH every day... these ladies need to listen to their Elders, and to honor their cultures which happen to have some of the best natural products and techniques. NO need for gluing wigs to your heads. wow.

Ciera Moore: All of these poor women. I have a friend who didn't know what to do with her hair until after high school. She started shopping in the ethnic section and has BEAUTIFUL curly thick hair. These women should love what they have ❤

ji veny: I vow to care and nurture my daughter's beautiful hair naturally and teach her to love it

ellianne: So glad my mom treats my hair with dignity and respect. Can proudly say I’m a “natural hair child”. She’s never used dye or a weave in my hair or never made my hair too tight. So glad that my hair is long and soft because of how my mom treats my natural hair because of the skill she learned from my late grandmother. All black girls who are teenagers should know that natural hair is beautiful ❤️

Krissy Ostrander: Preach!! Love you. Love your hair. Take care of yourself. Just stop.

Kaycee: Please keep in mind that it's not just the weave or braids that is pulling our hair out, it's the chemicals we put on our hair and scalp, like permanent hair dye, etc.
