Hey everybody welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na be showing you guys how I got this swoop ponytail on my natural hair. I did not straighten my hair. I literally started from this ok so right now, I'm looking pretty bad. I admit it like. I just terrible just to be honest with you, but we're gon na be fixing that and, as you can see, my hair is dry and I just don't look too happy. This is a but anyways as you can see. I'M parting, my hair, because I'm going to be adding some oil and I'm going to be brushing it out, as you can see now, basically, to get my hair a little stretch, I didn't want to start off with wet hair because I just didn't like waiting for It to dry - and you guys know how hair just smells when it's just waiting in a ponytail - and I just was not having that today for this tutorial. We'Re not really gon na be talking to too much I'm just gon na be coming in and out sometimes, but the products that I've mainly used was just like some gel that I'm putting on my hair right now and a brush as control and that's pretty much It I'm gon na stop talking for right now and I'm gon na. Let you guys see what I'm doing if you need to meet the video just to kind of get a better idea of exactly what I'm doing without me. Talking go ahead, mute the video. So pretty much if you can't figure it out for yourself, I'm just part of my hair moisturizing, it combing it out and add in jail and using that hard bristle brush to smooth my hair out, adding it to the bank. This is how you're gon na get your bun to be very, very sleek without straightening. This is what you're gon na do so here. What I'm doing is I'm just separating the sides of my hair, because this is gon na be vital. You want these sides to be very, very sleek and very very flat, so if you just try to compile them, if you try to combine them in the ponytails like right now, just by itself, it is not gon na work, and this is not going to look Pretty so I'm securing this side and I'm gon na secure the other side, and I'm gon na continue doing exactly what I was just doing in the previous clip. I don't want you guys to get frightened by how long this tutorial is. It was a lot of people that I saw on YouTube, devil, say: oh yeah, deep side, part ponytail tutorial and would not show the school part. So in this video I left the school part on real time. So you guys can actually see exactly what I'm doing and how I'm scooping my hair to get that deep side part, unlike the other videos that I thought you to know Shay. So here we are, as you can see, this part of my hair has looser curls. So it's just naturally a little bit straighter, but I'm adding my all y'all doing the same. That thing that I was doing on the other side of my hair, but I'm adding jail and I'm parting it and I'm swooping in I'm not gon na talk. Much doing this part, because I want you guys to literally see exactly what I'm doing and it might bus treat you while you're doing this part, especially if your hair is just naturally curly and you didn't straighten it out. It'S gon na frustrate you, but just look at what I'm doing and just follow along now. I'M thinking about recreating this tutorial because agency, I use a whole lot of gel on my hair and y'all when I say my hair Blake, like no other. After a week, though it lasted for a week and then it was just like. I got ta redo this, but it played really bad, so I'm gon na try to find a technique that I can use to where my hair don't flake up as bad, because dirty hair and then jail and all these places I was like nah like Knossos. So once I find a better technique, I will be recorded in this video for you all, but for now this is this should suffice. This has become my new favorite hairstyle, it's a protective style. It keeps you don't have to keep waking up to do your hair over it. Every day like this is perfect and now you're literally just gon na. Add that part to your body - and we are basically done after this. The rest of it is so much easier. So much faster, so yeah just add that stick it to your butt, make sure everything is nice and smooth and yeah we're ready to move on to the next part, dad that little baby hairs and you got to go. The next thing you wan na do is usually wan na break down your ponytail. This was the hardest part for me, because my hair is so thick and it was frizzy and it was just not cute at all and I'm be honest y'all. I was so so so so so lazy when it came down to the style I already get it over with. I put that scarf on my head about five minutes no lie, and I got my own weave. I don't remember where this week is from or these traps, but they are good. It'S good hair. I don't remember where it's from, but it's definitely good hair and I just wrapped it around my hair and I bobby pin it and that's it and I make it full enough to where you cannot see my little braids in the back. Yes, this is lazy. Yes, this is quick if your hair is already stretched and everything like that. This is a 10-minute hairstyle. I don't care so yeah you and a rap beat Bobby pendant rap, beat Bobby honey and not a date. I believe. Probably, like I don't know, I don't like pause like half of a bundle or like somewhere in there. This is one track right here and then I'm gon na add a whole nother drag as well. You can see me checking out and there's like not it's not full enough. So here I am back to it. Add this second track. Are we gon na do the same thing? If you guys have really really curly or kinky hair, I would suggest that you use a bundle that is curly, because you know a straight bundle. Your hair has to be like very, very slick unless it's just not gon na look good. Just being honest with you, it's not going to look that good. It'S not gon na look, seamless or like is your real hair. It'S gon na look like two different textures and two different patterns, so I would definitely suggest that you use curly weave if you are gon na. Do this style without straightening your hair cuz. As you can see, I have type 3b hair more so and you can still see my hair kind of waves up in the back, but here I am just fluffing at the roots, but yeah buffing at the roots, just you know, might make it seem this and All this stuff so pretty much. This is the final look right here. Y'All take out my scarf looking good, you know this is actually the next day and my hair still looks bomb like literally bomb, so check me out girl turn out cute or not. I'M stop. Morgan Leigh: Spray a little water on top of the gel then brush. It won’t flake. It’s not as hard on your hair either. Just makes everything easier.

Debra Jones: I’m a zillion months late but I use that much gel if not more because I love it lol and I’ve recently found that smoothing it down while doing it with a very light oil sheen makes it sleeker and it doesn’t flake even after a week. I been using the creme of nature replenishing sheen spray and it’s helped so much.

emmaly jasmine: try using murray’s bee wax to lay it down as flat as it can get then use a little bit of eco styler gel. i personally did not like the bee wax because it wasn’t working being that i have a 3C hair type. but i do slick backs and within a couple hours it flakes. but using the black bee wax and eco gel prevents flakes and makes ur hair stiff to obtain the hair style.
