Foreign, hey guys, it's rose with rose likes crochet. How is everybody doing? You should be seeing this video along with the next two videos sometime the week of September 26th. So for those of you who are new here, my name is Rose. I like to crochet. I like yarn a lot and I make Stitch markers. Please go and check out my Etsy Shop. It is linked Down Below in the description box. If you could favorite the shop and favorite a few items uh, it really does help me out a whole lot and I'll give you a hint. There will be an Etsy Shop update this Wednesday. So keep your eyes peeled for that video and that update, I hope, to see some of you guys over there in that video uh. So I do live here in the Chicago area. I have one daughter: her nickname is carrots like the vegetable and we have one rescue dog. His name is camo who just got on some arthritis medication. So that's where we're heading with him so um this year in the past couple years, you guys have helped with the domestic violence organization. That is all also based here in the Chicago area. It'S called Wings. All of their links will be down below in the description box. There is a new Link in there for some coats, I'm not sure how many coats are left on there, but it's an Amazon link for their code wish list for the winter. So if you want to go and check that out, please go ahead and do that um. So anyway, they have been accepting handmade donations from us for a couple years, but they have very specific items that they're looking for the list is in every one of my videos, and it is also a pinned announcement in the Facebook group so for this month, which Is September they were asking for winter sets so sets meaning hat and scarf hat and cowl gloves mittens fingerless gloves could be included. They could be any size, they could be knitted crocheted, loom, knitted purchased at the store. However, you guys wanted to do it uh. So we are still wrapping up. I have 35 donations to show you this week uh, so it will be split up into three parts. So you'll see that this is part one so keep an eye out for part two and part three um, and also to give you a heads up for October. They are looking for lovies and um that the tutorial that I use for my lovies is from Zelda nrj3 uh. Her her tutorial for her lovey is always linked in all of my videos as well, and I got some really good information from her um. She messaged me and said that she wanted to do a giveaway for the month of October for two people for gift cards for donating lovies to Wings. Oh my gosh! How exciting is that? So I will provide more information for that. I think it's two gift cards for Amazon for 26, each um, so that will be provided by Z and her channel is Zelda and RJ3. So I would appreciate it if you guys can go check her out I'll link, her Channel as well um, but that would be in addition to the thank you. Gifts that I normally give out for donations. So um go check that out. So that's for October and then, if you want to get a head start on November they're asking for toys for boys and they are also asking for baby blankets but um. They only are asking for two per person. If you have any questions on that, just let me know, I always encourage you to leave a comment down below, so you can ask a question there or you can email me at Rose likes crochet, gmail.com, okay, so I think that's it for for introductory stuff um. I also do want to um just let everybody know that um. I did receive some comments that people were disappointed, that I wasn't taking items out of the bags when I was showing them, and I will just let you know that I don't have time to do that, so I'm not apologizing apologizing. This is a no apology Channel, but this is the way it's going to happen. Okay, all right so like I said, we have 35 donations and I'm gon na split them up. So this video will have 12. um part two we'll have 12 and then part three we'll have 11., so we're gon na get started because we got a lot of stuff to show. Okay, oh follow me on Instagram. If you want um, I did take a picture of all the boxes stacked up in my living room and I also took a short video of it and posted it in my Tick Tock. So if you want to go and check that out, the links are all down below okay, so we're gon na get started. So the first package that I got, I'm just looking the packages right there. It'S oh and you can see all the boxes right here. Uh. It'S from Bonnie and Bonnie is from Minnesota and I have a card here. She says hi, hi Bonnie, she says Hi Rose. I hope this hat and scarf set will keep someone warm this winter. I live in Minnesota, so I know what cold is from Bonnie yeah. It'S um Minnesota's, cold um. We get really cold because we have the lake effect uh and it's it's just bitter here so anyway, I'm gon na show you oh my gosh. This is beautiful, so this is the Hat. It'S like a bean stitch hat! That'S what it looks like to me and then there is the matching scarf to go with it. That is so pretty so it doesn't. Look like the scarf is the bean Stitch. It looks like it's some kind of different Stitch, but they're absolutely perfect, so Bonnie. Thank you so so much for sending this beautiful set. I love the colors and yes, it will keep someone warm here all right. Let'S get to the next package, all right! You guys! The next package comes from Florence and Florence lives in Florida. I got this beautiful sparkly card. It'S got Glitters all over it. Oh my gosh, that is so pretty. Okay, let's see what she writes. Okay, dear Rose carrots and Camo. Thank you for the opportunity to give back to such a worthy organization. I grew up in Chicago and I appreciate how cold it can be. I used Crystal Bago day pattern for easy, crochet children's hat and scarf set. The purple is Bernat baby sport yarn, the multi-color is Premiere. Momente yarn keep up the great work thanks again: Flo and boys chaucy and Carter woof woof, oh my God, hello, chassis and Carter and hot. Thank you so much Flo. I appreciate that. Okay, so here is one of the sets and oh my gosh. It is so pretty and there is a scarf in there and then we have oh, my gosh, my favorite color purple, and there is the scarf in there as well. So Florence, thank you so so much for sending these two beautiful sets and I'm going to start a separate pile for my kids, stuff, um yeah. I separate the kids from the adults. So thank you so much for sending the kids that's. I appreciate that all right. Let'S get to the next one, all right, you guys. The next package comes from Lisa and Lisa is from Virginia, and I got this beautiful card says it's the little white Heron, oh my, oh, my so pretty and she writes dear Rose. Thank you for the work. You do to help others who need it. The tea is for you, God bless you and I will be sending a loving next. Actually given the time just sending the lovey. Now love Lisa. Oh thanks! So much Lisa. Okay, so she sent some tea. Oh that's! Pretty cool some tea drops in there. Thank you so much ooh, blackberry and raspberry, and it's getting chilly already, so I'm gon na get my tea stuff all ready to go. Okay, so here is this one of the sets? Oh, my oh it's this! This is the set because she sent a lovey as well, so it looks like there is the head and there's some pom-poms there, and there is the scarf. It looks like just double crochets or triple crochets. Oh my gosh, that is so pretty Lisa. Thank you for that, and then here is the lovey. Oh my gosh. Okay, we have to see all the colors in the loving you guys. Oh my gosh. This is so adorable okay, so you guys this is um kind of the way I do it and I follow, like I said the tutorial from Zelda nrj3 and basically you take a stuffed animal. It can be any stuffed. Animal and um see it's the full stuffed animal in here like it's, the whole body, it's not just the head and you crochet around a hair tie and that's how and you can make any color combination. You want, you can add any kind of yarn, and this is absolutely adorable Lisa. Thank you so much for sending the lovey I'll keep a separate, um pile going for the loveies since we're almost in October, I'm so excited uh. Thank you so much. I do appreciate that all right, let's get to the next one, all right, you guys. The next package comes from Grammy Colleen and she is from Washington and I got this card and let's see what she says here, she says: Hi Rose. Thank you for all. You do glad I could donate a couple of sets: no patterns just free handed by me: love, Colleen, Grammy, crochet or Colleen Grammy, Colleen crochets. If I, if she has a YouTube channel, I will find her and I will link her down below so Colleen. Thank you. Excuse me, so here is the set um: oh she's got it labeled here: 80 acrylic and 20 wool. The yarn is yarn B stripe hype. So if she has a YouTube channel, she'd probably show this on her YouTube channel as well. So you guys can go and check her out and it does say 20 wool in there. So we're gon na keep that together and then this one has a little Post-It note that says 100 acrylic and this was not in a bag. So and that's totally fine and there is the hat and scarf set. Oh my gosh, those are beautiful, Grammy Colleen! I hope you have a YouTube channel, because I want to go and check you out. So thank you so much for the two sets. I really really do appreciate that all right, let's get to the next one, all right, you guys. The next package comes from Pam and Pam is from California and she does have a YouTube channel here. She is called Pamela's knit and crochet Corner. She is a crocheter who knits a bit um. You have to go and check her out. She does amazing work um. She lives in California, she's good friends with Zelda nrj3. I wish I could meet them uh anyway. She sent me a card and this was on the back of the envelope because she puts ladybugs on everything because that's she thinks they're good luck and then here is the card. Oh, I just love, you Pam and then let's see what she says. Oh there's ladybugs in here too Rose. I appreciate you for all you do, especially for wings. I crocheted a Kimber Ray by The Crafty Kim The Crafty Nomad and I knit a cowl from a Hobby Lobby free pattern. I hope it makes someone feel happy and stylish keep crafting and be well from Pam. Oh Pam. Thank you so much okay. So this is the Kimber Ray and you can go to Kim The Crafty Nomad go to her YouTube channel and she will. She has a tutorial for it there and that is the underside of it. Oh, my gosh, this is so fancy you are, you are very fancy, and that is the knitted cowl and it goes with it perfectly. Oh, my gosh Pam. Thank you so much for sending all the for this sending this set. It'S absolutely beautiful one day. No, I'm I'm not gon na learn how to knit I'm just kidding. I have too much to do right now, but Pam. Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it all right, let's get to the next one. The next package comes from Emma and Emma is from New York, and I have a note - and it says, Hi Rose here - are my September donations four sets Three hat and cowl sets, and one hat and Charlotte scarf set. Hope all is well for you, carrots and Camo, your yarny friend from New York. Emma, oh Emma! Thank you so much okay! So here I am gon na leave these in a bag. You guys, but I'm gon na, show you you can see perfectly how beautiful that is. Oh, my gosh is that all single crochets you're my hero, because I could not have the patience to do this here - is another set, and that is definitely the Divine hat or the seashell cowl and there's a cowl inside there. Here is another one. Oh my gosh, I love these colors that looks like um the red heart ombre. It'S so pretty and there's a scarf in there and then here is the last set my gosh. That is so pretty I don't know what yarn is this? Please comment and let us know um and also a pattern, because that is so pretty. I absolutely love those Emma. Thank you so much for sending these four sets. They'Re. Absolutely beautiful. Now. Remember you guys, if I ask for donations, feel free to not send anything to donate locally, it saves on Postage and it helps your community. You know, send one thing send 10 things, it doesn't matter. Just you know if you also have some positive thoughts and Vibes for the people at wings that helps too so um and remember. This is a no apology channel, so you can't apologize for your work or not sending anything or not sending enough, because even one item is totally enough and we appreciate that all right, let's get to the next one, all right, you guys. The next package comes from Laura and she is from Georgia and I have this card. It'S a smile and by the way she made this handmade so see miracles in life every day that is so beautiful. Okay, she has great printing, it's just small. So let me put my glasses on okay, hello Rose. I thank you so much for allowing me to participate in the wings project and I thank you all for participating. It'S amazing. I love seeing all the things people send in. I always see the love in their projects. I have four hat and scarf sets. I don't really have a pattern. It'S just made. It made it up as I go, I love to make the stripy scarves and hats using my scrap yarn. All the yarn is acrylic. One scarf set is red heart and one is Hobby Lobby. I love this yarn. A friend told me if I washed them and added about a quarter cup hair conditioner to the load, it would make it softer. I believe it really worked. They are so much softer than they were. This is my second time getting to send prod objects. I won the Scooby-Doo project bag in July. It is so pretty and well made. Thank you. May God bless everyone Laura from Georgia? Oh Laura! Thank you so much for for participating twice. That'S so awesome! Okay! So here are the sets that she sent oh my gosh they're, so pretty so there is a hat and a scarf. I love the bright colors. Oh, my gosh, The Pastels here are so pretty hat and a scarf and then oh, these are really soft. So there's the Hat it's folded here and the scarf that's really really nice and then oh, my gosh. This one is really pretty too hold on. Let me just make sure I don't lose it that so pretty and it is super soft good, good idea we'll have to try that right and let and we'll have to see if it works. I wonder if regular fabric softener would work or if hair conditioner works better anyway, Laura. Thank you so much for sending all of these beautiful sets. I really really do appreciate it and we're hoping to keep everyone warm in Chicago this winter right all right. Let'S get to the next one, all right, you guys, the next package came from Sally and Sally is from Minnesota and I didn't see a card, but I have two packages here that have notes in them. So I'm going to read you the note here. So the Hat in this one is the Divine hat. The scarf is comfy cluster scarf by Blossom crochet, and the yarn was Karen baby cakes in dreamy violet, oh, my goodness. Okay, so you can see the scarf. That is the comfy cluster scarf by Blossom crochet, and then it's going to be hard to see the Hat, which is right there. It'S a Divine hat um and the yarn was Karen baby. Cakes, no uh Karen baby. Cakes. Didn'T really thrill me that much, but I used it okay, this one. The hat is the chocolate bon bon beanie by Bago day crochet and the scarf. I follow the design of the hat to create the scarf pattern. The yarn is Red Heart Super Saver, jumbo stripe and the color is favorite stripe. Look at how pretty oh, my goodness, that's absolutely beautiful, and then you guys can see most of the hat right there. That is so pretty Sally. Thank you. So much for sending these beautiful, this is so bright and cheerful. I love it. Thank you so much for sending both of these for the people at wings. I really really do appreciate that all right, let's get to the next one, all right. You guys the next package comes from Victoria, which is Alaska, craftygal Victoria, but she doesn't live in Alaska anymore. She lives in Texas, so hi Victoria. The color is uh Anchorage ice. Oh, my that is so pretty okay, so here is you can kind of see the pattern for the Hat right there and the scarf is super gorgeous. There is the scarf. I hope you guys can see that okay and then, let's see this one is also adult easy, breezy, ribbed beanie and easy breezy ribbed cowl by Ally at the turtle trunk. She used a J hook and the scarf is Portsmouth scarf on lionbrand.com using a k-hook. The yarn is Lion Brand, mandala watercolors and the color is icy grape holy smack girls. I need to go check that out. That is the unraveled mittens. So there's the Hat. I think that's the hat, or is that the scarf? They look the same they're so pretty, and there is the scarf okay. Now we have some. This one says toddler. Size hat is the basic beanie pattern used for the Unicorn Hat by Yolanda Soto Lopez and the all crafts Channel. Uh scarf is no pattern, my own using uh worsted weight yarn and an H hook. Oh, my gosh, okay, so you can see the scarf with the fringes, oh so cute, and then there is the hat. Look at the brim on that. Okay, so this is going to be in my kids, my kids. I got a bag over here, I'm putting all the kids stuff in there uh this one is toddler. Size hat is the basic beanie pattern used for the Unicorn Hat by Yolanda Soto Lopez and the scarf is no pattern using a five millimeter hook. Red Heart Super Saver: color is Aaron Fleck, oh that's so pretty so there's the hat, and there is the scarf that'll go in my kid size bag, and then we have the crisscross beanie by Amanda at loops and love crochet, and the scarf was her own pattern. The color is red heart Super Saver. Color is a lullaby and she also used a five millimeter hook. So there is the scarf and then you can kind of see the hat right there. That'S really cool too. Oh my gosh Victoria. Thank you. So much for sending all of these sets for labeling them. The way that you did. I really do appreciate that and you guys all need to go and check her out. She does these amazing Scrappy project bags like you, are just Uber talented, and I love you all right, so we're gon na get to the next one. Now. Thank you Victoria. All right, you guys. The next box comes from Alicia from New York and I have a note here, and it says Hi Rose. I am in closing four hat and scarf sets and one hat and cowl set for wings. That is one set orange is so pretty actually peachy colored love it here is another set. Oh that's really pretty too my gosh we're gon na be so warm here. Thank you. So much here is another set. It'S actually a little bit more burgundy than that, and then this is the final one very, very pretty Alicia. Thank you so much for sending all of these beautiful hats. Let me know if this is a kids one, because it looks like it's kind of small, I'm gon na put it with the kids pile until I hear from you all right. Thank you again. I really do appreciate that. So we have two more boxes to go for this. Video guys hang on right. You guys the next package comes from Elaine and she is from a town here in the northern suburbs of Illinois, and I have a card. You guys take a look at that card. It is hand made it says, Made in a betchy Chad by members of The Association of physically disabled people. Oh, my goodness, gracious! That'S beautiful! I'M gon na put that on my refrigerator. Okay, so she writes dear Rose. I was so excited to find your channel as I am from the Chicago area and normally live and work in the central part of Africa. I love to crochet, but with our heat there it is hard to find enough items to crochet during this time. In the U.S it was really fun to make winter items that I know will be used. I hope I can find a way to continue to get items to Wings when I'm back in Africa. Oh my gosh as usual, I acquired more yarn during my time in the U.S than I can realistically take back with me, so I'm also sending some yarn to be used. However, is most helpful. Thank you so much for using your channel to help others and for all the time spent in organizing this Elaine P.S. This card was hand embroidered by a local co-op in Chad, where I usually live. Oh my gosh, that is incredible! Okay, so I'm going to show you the sets first, because those are the most important things and she's got them all band up, and this one says the hat is the Bago day uh, not sure of pattern. She has so many hat patterns. I love Crystal uh. Yarn is from Hobby Lobby uh yarn B and I love this chunky and it is a Mobius cowl uh, no pattern. Okay, so I'm just gon na show you guys. Oh, you can see the the twisting of the cowl there, absolutely beautiful. Oh, my gosh and it's gon na be hard to see the Hat there. Okay, so I'm gon na put that in the box - and then we have hat - is a pattern from Bago day puff stitch slouchy hat the cow is freehand both using two strands and the yarn is simply soft. Oh my gosh, okay, so part of this is black. So it's hard to see, but you can see the white part right there that is so pretty okay. So what what was that called a pattern from Bago Day called the Puffs Stitch? Slouch hat? Oh my gosh, that is so pretty. I love it. Okay, this next one, the hat, is an extra large pattern is called around the post hat from the book called crochet Scenic wonders, the cow is freehanded, the yarn is Premiere, just active from the Dollar Tree, uh, the yellow and the brown might be big twist. Oh, my gosh look at that. You guys. I know you can see that hat so pretty. Oh, my gosh, okay and then it's kind of gon na be kind of hard to see the scarf, but there's that okay and then we have pad, is extra large and scarf our freehand Yarns, our red heart with love, iced, aqua and vanish Choice, color unknown. So you guys can see what the stitches look like there. Oh, my goodness, gracious and then you can see the top of the Hat. That is so pretty. Oh, my gosh, I love the unknown yarn. That'S gorgeous! Okay, this one! The hat is from Bago day crochet. Beanie 667 and the cowl is freehand both use a mix of Hobby Lobby yarn B, and I love this chunky. Oh, my gosh, here's another one of those pretty colors, look at that with the teal and the brown that's the cowl, and then the Hat was number 667., which is right there. You can see the top of the hat right there. Oh, my gosh, these are just beautiful. Okay, this one says hat and scarf both use. This uh sober granny Stitch from the secret yarnery. The yarn light blue is Bravo worsted, color Clarity from nitpicks and the aqua is red heart with love called iced Aqua. Oh, my goodness, so here is the Hat. That is so pretty it's the perfect accent and then there is the scarf. That is gorgeous. Oh, my goodness, I know you guys can see that that's so pretty wow. Okay, those are all the sets. So here's the yarn that she sent there's some style craft this stuff in a baggie - oh my goodness, and then there's four of these, and this is called spritely Yarns and there you can see those, and these will probably go in one of the yarn boxes that We'Re doing as thank you, gifts. This is some Neko yarn, some Elite baby. Oh my gosh. This is so pretty there's two in pink and two in yellow wow. Thank you so so much for sending all the yarn. So we can give it away as a thank you and, most importantly, thank you so much for making the sets and please don't worry about trying to send stuff when you're in Africa wait until you're back here in the states, I'm sure it'll be way cheaper to Send something here if you need to so. Thank you again. I do appreciate that Elaine all right, let's get to the last one guys all right, you guys the last box for this video is from Peggy and Peggy is from Vermont, and I got this adorable card and, let's see what she writes, hi Rose, the beads are For you, I washed everything before putting them in the bags. I do have a cat, so it's up to you if you take them out of the bags from Peggy yeah, I'm very allergic to cats. So if you guys do send in donations - and you have a cat - please please please wash it before you put it in your box and try not to have your cat get on it, because I'm highly allergic okay, so here are the beads. Oh my gosh! This is so pretty there's this there's three bags. These are heavy. Oh my gosh Peggy! You did not need to send these. Oh, this is filler stuff. Oh, you can put these in the bottom of vases. Oh my gosh, those are so pretty. Thank you. So much they're gorgeous. I appreciate that you did not have to send those, but thank you so much okay and then we've got quite a few bags here and she did put in the ball band for the yarn. Let'S see if there's anything else, so this one is premiere: candy shop and the color on this one is bubble gum and there is the Hat so pretty and there is the scarf. Oh my gosh gorgeous and then this one is oh, my gosh Karen latte cakes. So there's the label and then anything Karen latte cakes is so soft, oh my gosh, so you can it's kind of hard to see it because of all the fuzzies. But oh that's gon na be so soft. Okay, this one is knitted um. Oh, my gosh there's mittens in here. Okay, so there is the Hat and there are the mittens. Those are just beautiful. Oh my gosh Peggy. You did so much work, mandala ombre. So there is a hat. You can see the little Pom-Pom right there and look at how gorgeous that is knitted. What oh, my gosh, okay, I'm still not gon na commit. Okay here is another one with mandala ombre. You can see the hat right there with the Pom-Pom and then the scarf. She even put a pin there. Oh that is such a sweet touch. Thank you so much Peggy here is. I know this is like a premier Bloom chunky, so you can see it makes that pattern right. There there's the Hat with the Pom-Pom, and then there is the scarf. What have you guys been? This is all you've been doing, huh. Okay, so here is another knitted set. There is the hat and there are some mittens. These are mittens, they got thumbs. That is absolutely gorgeous. Oh my gosh. Okay, this one is also knitted, oh, so pretty okay. So there is the Hat. You see the Hat there and then there is the scarf, which is knitted as well. Oh, my gosh Peggy you're a machine. Okay. This one has a label, it says Premiere puzzle and this is also knitted uh. It'S going to be hard to see the front, but there is what the yarn looks like worked up. I know there's a hat because there's a Pom-Pom right there. Oh that's! So pretty all right, we got a couple more here. You guys this one does not have a tag in it, but it is also knitted. So here is the Hat. That'S super super duper pretty and look at the scarf gosh. You guys are so talented. I appreciate every single one of you here is another. Is this a hat uh? I can't really tell it's knitted and whatever it is. It'S super super pretty looks like a cowl in there. Oh, my gosh, okay, and then we have another. What is this one? This one is using Stitch Studio by Nicole called Earth Tones okay. So there is a hat: there's the Pom-Pom there's mittens right there, and this is all knitted and there is the scarf, and here is the last one. Oh, my gosh, this is so pretty. There is the Hat and there are the mittens you can well. I don't know if you can see the fingers, because it's black, so oh, my goodness Peggy.
