Hi guys and welcome back to another youtube video in today's video. We are doing the long-awaited wet to dry hair tutorial i'll, be showing you how i went from wet hair, to dry hair, to style, to perfection hair, and hopefully you guys can do it along with me. So if you've got short, hair grab, a cup of tea make sure you've got some products, your hair dryer and your straighteners, and let's get to work guys. So i'm going to do a full, wet to dry and dry to styled, sweat pack pixie pompadour, whatever you want to call it um hair tutorial. Now i've never actually done a full wet to dry and obviously i'm going to include how i dry my hair and then how i style it from that point. It has been very, very highly requested, so i thought i'd do it here, because i can talk you through it a bit clearer now, as you can see, um i've done my makeup and stuff. Normally i always do my hair um. I always dry. It then do my makeup and then style it after that. That'S just my personal preference. I just find it easy because i like to pin my hair back off my face, and so i did blast it quickly, but i didn't put any product in and i'm going to show you how we can basically dry it style it all in one go so I'Ve just got some water here and a spray bottle. This is a top tip. If um, you find you've left your hair to dry and it's gone kinky or not in the right, and it's not dried in the way you want it to is to just go in with like water um. Obviously i haven't put any product in soon i'm not going to have any build up in my hair at the moment. So i'm just going to spray this through my hair. I'Ve got a bit of water on my top, so apologies for that, and i also just raised it from about an inch into my hair back and then brushed brushed the water through just so. I didn't get like all this water dripping down my face, and this is a top tip. You know you see the hairdressers, they get some water and spray if they want to dry your hair and it's drying a bit too fast. So this was about 90p from i think it was home bargains or b m and they're, so handy and brilliant. If you've got short hair and it's you know dried a bit too quickly. Very often, if i'm drying my hair, i've just got out the shower. I made a coffee, and sometimes i do need to make sure i've got a bit more moisture in so i'll just go with my spray, so the next thing i go in with is my um styling cream. This is the bed head, small talk by tg and you've probably heard of this. If, if you've got short hair, a lot of people use it, my hairdresser nearly dropped it and my hairdresser's used it in the past with me and it smells amazing. So you don't need very much literally about that much, and i find this as well. Doesn'T give you too much like viscosity? Oh, it smells so nice, so i'm running that through and obviously the sweat back pixie i'm pushing my hair back. It'S super simple guys super! So simple rub that in and then we're going to go in with the hair dryer move my drink, because otherwise that will go everywhere and it's the fabulous i used to have a ghd one, but it broke. So i just um jim got me this one. The time being - and it is fab it does the job i always have the nozzle on as well. That'S one thing: if you've got short hair make sure you use the appliances. This is what you need, because it directs the heat in the place you want it. So i'm directing i'm going to be directing the heat back from the center like this and then from the sides. I want to point it down because i wanted to be flat against my head, so i'm trying to talk you through this. Before i put there, he thumb, so you can obviously hear me so back and forward like this and then from the sides. We want to point it down now i always use a flat brush. I don't use a round brush unless my hair is a bit longer than this, and i need that extra sort of control. But at this stage, when my hair is this short, you just need this. So maximum heat as well - let's be honest, my hair isn't going to be that damaged because it's so short, it gets cut all the time. So i use maximum heat every day. Let'S go. Oh i've not turned it on not take my plug on okay. So i just want to um mention that i use my fingers a lot as well to comb comb, the hair in the direction i want um. Obviously i just smooth the back and sides down with my hands. All this hair is pushed back and i don't know if you notice, but to begin with i'm kind of sweeping my hair over to the side slightly now. That'S because i naturally have my parting here um, and i want to counteract that. I want my hair to obviously get the volume that side and have a bit more of a side swept over rather than a parting. Porsche is going mad down here right, so that is dry and it's looking nice and shiny. It'S looking good. It'S looking a bit! Spiky and a bit um a bit spiking a bit fluffy, and this is where the styling products and the straighteners come in. So i'm gon na go grab those and we'll go with the next part, which is the styling okay. So you will need some good straighteners. I use the ghd original styler i'll pop a link down below for the ones i use. I also do like the cloud9. If you've been here a while i've obviously spoken about those both quite good. I just always go back to ghgs. So, to make sure you are getting every layer, you'll need a crocodile clip, and i literally just oh, that didn't work. Did it pin up like this looks a bit crazy. The longest section - and then i can get to the sides, is what it is and then, with your straighteners, i'm literally going to curve round and smooth the edges. So i get none of this spiky tufty stuff going on it's literally this simple, just curving it around. Like this - and i am going from the root down now, if you are not used to using heat on your hair, especially if it is short, be careful with your fingers, i think i've got like heat resistant hands by now, because i'm always touching my hair when It'S still warm um, but you can use a fishtail comb like this. You know just to literally do this part, so i'm literally just like you would like a hot brush or like a um blow dry. Okay, so take the big clip out and then i'm gon na go in with a smaller crocodile clip and i get these from primark, but most places online do them, and i'm just going to take this front section. So basically, like my fringe um and then i've got this part of my crown to work with and we're just going to do the same again, bringing the straighteners back and smoothing any spikiness worry. But you know too much about this at this stage, because the products will help with any fluffiness too. I just think this is what helps um short hair. Look like more defined more styled. Is the products getting rid of the fluffiness um? Let'S be honest, we can get like very fluffy hair very quickly so and i'm always combing through with my fingers and my nails like i've got really long nails. But even if you just have a comb to hunt, i'm just going in and any bits that i just want smoother or i want a bit more volume from the roots, i'm just creating that i mean. To be honest, i don't know if you were like really really good at blow drying your hair. You could probably do this just by blow drying your hair, but i'm not so this is just the way. I'Ve always done it, i'm just going in and clipping a little bit less of my front section and just gon na continue like that. So we get got right to the front. Now the crocodile clip can go away for a bit and again i'm using the comb here and i'm just going to take straighteners up and back and then comb that through with my fingers right. So that's all looking like the direction i want. So now i'm going to go in with the styling products, and so so i'm just making sure it's all in the direction i want. This is the living proof. Five in one perfect, hair day love it absolutely lovely living proof, um products and again that's even probably too much like, maybe not a little bit more okay. That amount is literally all you're gon na need, so i'm just gon na warm it through my fingers. Just to make sure that i don't get any kind of excess, no one's big blob of it and i'm just going to run it through my layers. So i'm like pinching my hair, so you can say smooth down the sides there we go. So that's all gone. Oh, it smells absolutely gorgeous guys, absolutely gorgeous. So you all know i'm here for the texturizing sprays, so angie fitzsimmons. This is a pound in primark it was 250, it's been discontinued, i'm pretty sure of it. So please please, please, if you've got any recommendations for dry, texturizing sprays. This is an instant volume one. Please leave them down below, because i need to get a new one. Now i feel like every three months, i'm back in this position. Why do they all get discontinued? We need to stop buying them girls, we need to start buying them and guys. We need to start buying them because i'm not going to have any soon and i'm literally just going to spray this all over, concentrating it more on the front and top of my hair. I love this because it smells nice, but it doesn't leave any um doesn't make your hair feel crispy and it doesn't leave any white cast. Like i hate that i hate. Oh, it's got the back of my neck. Okay, then, to finish off, i've not really touched. My hair, i do use the tail end of my comb just to make sure the hair was doing it. What i wanted, i'm going to finish with my ryder's eye silver cream volume hold in number for the pink one right. So here we are guys i'll show you a little bit closer, so you can see what it looks like. So this is the finished look. Now it's completely dry and completely styled. I really hope you like this tutorial and i showed you as much as i can because, there's only so much to say it is what it is. It'S very short, it's very quick and it's very simple, so yeah i'll show you the back. I really really hope you enjoyed this video and please don't forget to like and subscribe. It really helps my channel um. Obviously, it helps me continue to do this and please, let me know if you know of any texturizing sprays thanks so much for watching guys and i'll see you in the next one.
